Excellent service! Great tasting food! Wonderful atmosphere!
We were visiting Biltmore and made reservations for lunch. We were thrilled to find out that we were seated IN one of the horse stalls in the stable. Our server, Nora was extremely knowledgeable about the estate and was pleased to answer our questions. The food was great, we split a pulled pork bbq sandwich, very tasty.
We enjoyed our meal. We were sat quickly and food arrived hot and fast. Making reservations is the way to go.
Host was rude. Had a reservation which we rushed to and she wouldn't seat us with an empty restaurant cuz it would take away from other customers.
Once we got seated 30 mins later, the waitress and food were great!
The shrimp salad and the baked beans were not good so we sent those back without eating them. The salad and soup was good. The server was very friendly but I had to ask several times for lemons and she could not remember. She never asked about our meal even though we did not eat much. She was very nice though.
While it was nice to sit down to eat, the food was overpriced for what it was especially the cocktails. The berry salad was just so so.
Experience was even better than we expected, and the mixed barbecue was scrumptious. We enjoyed our meal.
This restaurant used to be the actual stables for the Biltmore estate. It was cool to eat somewhere so historic! Our server Sydney was excellent. She was so friendly and very helpful. We ordered the sampler so we were able to try the chicken, brisket, and pulled pork. All of the food was so good. We would definitely come here again next time we’re at Biltmore!
The brisket must have been sitting in a heating tray from the previous day. It was tough and dry and hard as a brick. The pork was over smoked like with liquid smoke injection. The baked beans were runny and way too sweet. Tasted worse than most canned beans. The food quality level did not match the price for sure. But that was the worse version of BBQ I have ever seen. With such a limited menu I expected the food to be impeccable. Very disappointed. The waitress was awesome though.
Very good food, fast service and friendly staff. If you make a reservation, you get in without wait.
Food was outstanding. Drinks from the bar were great. Seems like most of the food was sourced locally or from the estate itself. Service was top notch as well. Would definitely eat there again.
The ambiance at the Stable Cafe is perfect. You're eating in a former stable!! If you're lucky, you're eating in a horse stall! Fun! Food was excellent, even if menu is a bit limited. The staff went out of their way to welcome us for our anniversary and provided an unexpected treat at the end of our meal. This was the perfect meal for our perfect visit to Biltmore House.
Our service and server were excellent ! The food was excellent as well . My husband had to request his carrots to be cooked longer due to dietary restrictions . The chef prepared more carrots sautéing them to make them softer specifically for my husband . We had a very caring and personable server as we engaged in conversation concerning my husbands’ medical condition . It was the end of the day as our reservation was 3:45 but we did not feel rushed by any means . Even though our server was probably anxious to finish up, she never appeared or seemed in any hurry ! We will highly recommend the Stable Cafe !
After touring the house and the gardens the Stable Cafe was a perfect place to rest and hydrate. My husband and I got two different things, the pulled pork and the buffalo chicken and they were great. Our server was very attentive and kept the water flowing since she knew we had been walking around for hours. The deserts looked amazing but we were so full from the sandwiches that there wasn't room.
We really enjoyed our lunch at the Stable Cafe. The spinach artichoke dip was creamy and delicious (the only downside was the small size of the pita chips, but I guess someone has to get the bottom of the bag). The pulled pork was very tasty and tender. The vegetarian BBQ plate (pimento cheese hushpuppies? Yes, please!) was also very good, although the baked beans were too sweet for my preference, but my daughter sucked them down quite happily.
We enjoyed our meals and time spend at The Biltmore.
Very cool experience. We were able to get a table 15 min before our reserved time. The waiter was friendly and service was fast. The food was ok but small portions for the price. Overall would recommend.
This restaurant is in the heart of an incredibly busy tourist destination. I was impressed with the food, though there were limited options. Each person in my party ordered a different entree and we were all pleased.
The wait staff were in tune with our needs and delivered water when she first came to the table.
Great value, reservations should be made weeks before visiting Biltmore.
Enjoyed an early lunch at the Stable Cafe. Loved all the above beams, and hay loft. The iron work was lovely. We ordered a turkey on sourdough with a delicious herb aioli. French fries were perfect with their house made raspberry bbq sauce. The raspberry lemonade was simply delicious.
The service was excellent. The staff made us feel like we were to only guests there. Great conversations and delicious food.
Compared to everything else on the estate the two items that I had was bland, and didn’t have any smell. I thought I had COVID for a minute. I expected some seasoning of some kind. My mothers was fine, butter with bread was also taste less
The brisket sandwich was fantastic and service was very quick. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating.
We had a great time and food was good! We will be back and will eat again at staple cafe to try other dishes. I would highly recommend this to anyone who would like to come or ask me for a nice place to visit.
Everything was amazing! We loved it! Makes sure to try the smoked chicken. It was delicious, and so juicy!
It was a fun experience while you are visiting the Biltmore. Our food was good, especially the chicken. It was a quick bite to eat before touring the main house.
A word of advise, make a reservation. It was insanely packed in there. Luckily we had made a reservation ahead of time so we didn’t have to wait. However there was a long line the entire time we were eating.
Had a wonderful time and a wonderful meal. We will return soon.
Split the bbq platter between 2 people. Good overall. Cole slaw needed some vinegar for zing. The blackberry bbq sauce was very unusual, but good. Chicken fell off the bone! They gave us 2 rolls with the meal. Would have been nice to have an actual bread basket. Atmosphere is neat with the old horse stalls for booths.
Need more vegan choices. I paid a lot for a bowl of spinach with a few strawberries and blueberries on it. The feta is not vegan so I could not have you put that on.
When visiting Biltmore, I made a reservation to the Stable Cafe for lunch. I looked up places to eat at Biltmore Estates and loved the pictures and idea it was some of the original stables. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. I ordered the brisket sandwich with fries and my husband had the roasted chicken breast with baked beans and honey carrots. The carrots were very good and he said the best baked beans he ever tasted. My brisket was so good and tender and the fries seasoned and cooked to perfection. I wish we were closer to go back soon but hope everyone else enjoys. We got to eat at a booth in one of the stalls abs it was fun and cozy.
This was a unique, clean, good quality place to eat. Service was good as was the food.
The staff at this restaurant are the best. We arrived early and the gal at the desk said no problem and sat us at a very nice table immediately.
We had a wonderful waitress, Donna that was very experienced and knew guests that were touring all morning would be thirsty and hungry and she made sure we had drinks and food at our table the entire time.
Short distance from Biltmore house. Wonderful service.
Food and service were good. There is a small menu with items that range from $16-30, kids meals were $6 or $7.
Our server Terry was so nice and the food and drinks were great! We shared the Stable Platter with a little bit of everything on it.
Nice atmosphere complete with stalls. Great place to take a break from touring the Biltmore Estate. Make a reservation way ahead of arrival. Very busy restaurant. Excellent service. Very organized. Loved my veggie plate of grits, carrots, hush puppies. Easy walk from Biltmore House. Near bathrooms and shops.
Service was very good. Wait staff very attentive and friendly / helpful. Food was nicely presented and delicious. Portions were plentiful. For casual dining the Stable Cafe is much preferred over the Bistro on the Biltmore property.
Enjoyed everything about Stables Cafe, from the great service to the delicious food & the atmosphere inside the original stables is top notch!
we made our reservation and they were prompt. Food was good and the service was upbeat and friendly. This place had energy
I was very happy I had made a reservation for this restaurant. We were seated very promptly and in a quiet booth.
Had the pulled chicken salad and it was delicious! Also had a glass of Biltmore's Pino grigio wine.
Overall a very nice experience.
The food wasn’t all that great and nothing special except the blackberry lemonade was delicious. It was a little pricey for what we got.
