We always eat at The Stable Cafe when visiting the Biltmore. Our waiter, Carlos, was excellent and very attentive. His recommendations were very good and he made us feel right at home.
My husband got the brisket, which was tender and flavorful. I had the trout which was tasty.
Food was good but it was so darn cold in the restaurant. I mentioned it to the staff but no one seemed to really care...
Food was good but it was so darn cold in the restaurant ! Mentioned it to the staff but they really didn’t seem to care.
The food, the service and ambience was excellent!Everything is worth coming back for.
Super fun place to eat for my little horse lover. The food was very good, a little on the pricey side, but very fresh. The kids meal was nicely priced and had great options. We were seated in one of the stalls and the air vent blowing up from the floor was very cold. Our server was sweet as could be, I think her name was Peggy. I had the sampler and a side salad. It was delicious. My son had the kids cheeseburger and chips and he liked both. We didn’t try the desserts, we were too full, but they sounded promising. Would definitely recommend this place and hope to dine here again.
The lunch was terrific! The server even took our pictures for us
Gate guard misdirected us to actual horse stables, did not provide site map (paper tickets printed due to COVID-19). Therefore, with GPS routing us continuously back to horse stables despite fact search was for Stable Cafe we missed lunch entirely. If guard had simply said go to the big house we would have made it.
Great food and atmosphere
The food was very good. The service was excellent and we were especially pleased that the waiter suggested an off the menu item.
Had to wait even though had a reservation. Also told was an anniversary and there was nothing to acknowledge that. Did buy a dessert and no acknowledgement of anniversary in writing like I saw on the website. Was a very special dating anniversary as we have waited 20 years to move to dating and engagement. Almost seemed like a joke when really wasn't. The French fries where over cooked and were not fresh, did not send back because wanted it to be a special event and enjoyable. Not pleased and would not choose this restaurant again. For the two of us we paid $86 for less than quality food and a wait time. Our server was fantastic. Traveled almost three hours for our special day and get-away, this lunch event took away from that.
Paul, our server was great. He discussed the menu and was prompt with our order and service during g the meal. My husband ordered the turkey sandwich and I had the berry salad. They were both tasty.
Ordered the BBQ sampler platter and were very disappointed. Meat was dry lacking flavor. The fries were lukewarm and a bit soggy.
always wonderful food & service highly recommend it. Felt very safe...
Love eating there. My only issue is the comfort level dining in a booth The a/c is very uncomfortable. Very cold air under the booth and legs and feet
get very cold. Will always request a table in the future
Nothing special. If going and gluten free make sure the right thing is given to you. Would not go back. Better $17 meals elsewhere.
Our server Patty was awesome as was the iced tea, the Sangria's, Spinach salad and Sweet Potato Fries. Unfortunately, the rest of our food was not. The french fries were cold, the BBQ pulled pork had very little BBQ, the Cheeseburger was only so so and all the buns were not very fresh. Patty did bring us a side of Blackberry BBQ sauce and "hot" fries.
Our suggestion is to stay with the salads & beverages.
Food was very good! New menu very nice;however over an hour wait to get food once at table not good!
We took of town visitors and we all loved it. Food was great and the service was best ever. Tables well placed in relation to the booths and everyone felt completely safe.
The best burger ever. Great flavor and cooked perfectly. The pickle was very sour. Everything is made on the grounds.
We got a burger and BBQ sandwich. The BBQ was awesome. My husband's burger had a very bland bun that fell apart as he was trying to eat it. He said it was like a cheap supermarket bun. We also ordered drinks and they were very good. The atmosphere was great. The booths are the old horse stalls. The waiter was very nice too.
Overall a great experience, our server was top notch.
The server was very nice. The food was good, portions are more on the small side, or maybe just smaller than what most places serve. But very satisfied.
Fifth visit. Spacing nicely done. Food was good to excellent. Had a very attentive waiter. Noise wasn’t too bad. Definitely recommend it to everyone
We always enjoy dining at the Stable Cafe.
The service is always great and the meals are delicious!
Food was good but not quite up to par for price. To be expected at a tourist spot I suppose. A good option when visiting g Biltmore, however.
Meatloaf was delicious. Everything was great. Save room for dessert.
The food and service was excellent, we will be returning!
This was an interesting place to eat—Imagining the previous usage. Good food and service. A bit noisy.
It was very cold and drafty inside, but everything else was excellent
The servers were very busy. They tried to get guests in and out as quickly as possible. The food was made in advance and warmed up when served. It was reasonably priced though.
We had never taken the kids to Biltmore Estate, so we decided to include the Stable Cafe as part of their inaugural visit and it did not disappoint. All four of us enjoyed our meals - and shared tastes around the table so that everyone was able to try a little of everything. Our server was outstanding - at the ready whenever we needed anything, but never intrusive. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone visiting the Estate.
Best restaurant at Biltmore. Food, drinks, service, pricing and setting all good
Wonderful experience! The food and service were excellent!!
Atmosphere was awesome. Super family friendly. Service was great. While the food itself was delicious, I do wish there were a few more menu options.
Great atmosphere and Whit was a great waiter. Can’t wait to go back.
This was the perfect place for lunch following the tour of the Biltmore! The Stable Cafe is near the tour exit. Reservations are highly recommended!! We made our reservation several weeks ahead of time and there were only two time slots still available. The place was full when we ate at 11:30am. The service was quick and the staff was great. My peach sangria and barbecue pork sandwich were very tasty.
Our 1st time dining at the Stable since COVID19, one year ago. It was great to be back.
We loved our experience. Whit did a wonderful job serving us. He is professional, polite and attended to our needs without interrupting our meal.
Best waitress
Food was delicious for our Easter Sunday
This had the best meal and atmosphere of all the Biltmore restaurants.
Wonderful service in an unique venue. Great food, too
