   Mediocre food at best. Service was good. Atmosphere was decent. It is very convenient and close to house. Will try other restaurants next time we visit Biltmore.

   Service was excellent. Pork bbq delicious. It was crowded and alittle warm in restaurant. But it was an 80 degree day, and they probably weren’t ready for that in March.

   Made reservations and arrived a little early. Was seared immediately. Plenty of staff cooking and serving. Great fast first class customer service . Would recommend this restaurant !!!

   Ambiance was awesome for our stay at the Biltmore. Server Evan outstanding in every way. Food delicious! My favorite meal during our stay. I will definitely return!!!

   Had an amazing meal with the apple salad and burger. I have had a salad here twice and they are excellent!! Locally sourced w/an amazing light dressing. My favorite restaurant at the Biltmore with great historical ambiance in the original ‘Stables’. Scott (our waiter) did a fantastic job- very friendly & attentive to our every need. Will definitely be back for another salad.

    My wife and I shared the combined platter. It was plenty of great food. The servers work hard and fast. The energy of the people working and others coming and going to eat made the atmosphere more energetic as well. None of that would keep us from returning to this restaurant though. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Fantastic estate-based meals, wines and desserts. Service is always top notch as well. Highly recommended for anyone in the Asheville area, not just those visiting or staying at Biltmore Estate.

    We love eating at The Stable Cafe! The food is always excellent and the service is impeccable! Paula is an absolutely fantastic server--we have had her as a server before and just adore her! We were seated a few minutes before our reservation and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Thank you, Stable Cafe and especially Paula, for making our day at the Biltmore Estate perfect!

    The cafe was really busy today, but both the hostess stand employees and our sever worked hard to make us comfortable. The hostess got us in a little early as my husband is diabetic and wasn’t feeling well. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and even ingredients in the specials and brought me some extra pesto to take home with my extras

    We made a reservation a couple months in advance of our winter trip. It was bustling with people. We were able to get seated within 10 minutes. They have nice booths in horse stalls with very long tables. The server was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. Each adult order a cocktail, beer, or wine. The server allowed us a sample of the Cardinal Crest wine which was very nice. We ordered the Cauliflower Steak, Meatloaf, and the seasonal Beef Grilled Cheese. The manager visited our table to check-in. Everything was delicious! We were so impressed with the proactive service. We ended our meal with coffees. The Stable Cafe has a great location next to the Biltmore House. Highly recommend eating at this restaurant!

    Our group of 4 ordered two Chicken Salad sandwiches. A salad, which BTW was never brought to our table. Carolina Shrimp and grits, and springer Mt Chicken. The chicken salad...Chunky and very little taste. Personally, I would definatley not recommend that. They need a new recipe! The other dishes that were ordered were very good. Service was good as well.

    The food wasn’t good. I had the trout and it had no flavor. The potatoes were lack luster as well. My husband said his meatloaf was not even close to as good as the meatloaf at village social. Everything there was amazing.

    Food is not up to pair with other restaurants at Estate. Had to send burger back as it was a black hockey puck. 2nd burger was cooked right, nothing special. Cauliflower was ok, rice it was on was so salty we could not eat it. Waiter was great and gave us free desert that we did not want. We will not go back to this restaurant next time we visit. So many better restaurants at Estate.

    The venue itself is nice but the food was not worth the price. If you’re in the estate go to Cedric’s tavern. We’ve been to the estate many times and are annual pass holders this is the first time we’ve eaten at the cafe and probably our last!

    The food was good but it was so busy, wasn’t a great experience. But that’s not Biltmore fault. Felt bad for the employees. But despite that, great service. Food just is overpriced and for a vegan who doesn’t eat bread either, very limited menu.

    Such a great place for a nice lunch. We have been here several times and each time is just so wonderful. This last time we were late for a reservation but the staff was still so wonderful and took us and seated us. The food was great as always. If you were looking for a place with great service and good American style food, this is definitely for you. We will be back and keep recommending this place to others.

    The table was good and allowed us to have a private conversation. The service was excellent. The food was "yummo". It was unique and the fig on the hamburger was a nice change in flavors. We were able to be seated ahead of our scheduled reservation. We definitely will come again. The grounds were bursting with blooms and so manicured. It a great place to do a meeting.

    Great place to have lunch and very convenient to Biltmore House. Make reservations. The staff is very friendly and professional. The manager even got us an extra chair as we were a little early for our reservation. Our server, Donna, was the best. She was very efficient, knowledgable about the menu, and really a lot of fun too. She helped make our lunch very enjoyable. The food was also excellent, and presented nicely. Overall, a great experience. I highly recommend having a meal at the Stable Cafe - Biltmore Estate.

    This eatery is in what actually was the former stables of the estate, and your table might even be in one of the stalls! Food is really good, service efficient and quick. As the former tables, there are no curtains or carpeting which can make it noisy during busy times.

    Way overpriced for what they bring out of the kitchen, menu doesn’t offer much variety. And had a waitress that was very indifferent as to presence at all. $38.00 for two chicken salad sandwiches on croissant and water. Seriously?

    I’ve been to stable cafe several times in the last few months and enjoyed it each time. Our waiters have always been good and we’ve enjoyed whatever we’ve ordered. Only thing is there’s a young hostess that doesn’t seem to want to be there. It’s good to enjoy your work, so maybe look for something you enjoy. But everyone else has been a pleasure to be around. Thanks for making the stable cage a nice place to enjoy a meal.

    Unfortunately, the quality of the food has not lived up to my memories of other times I was at this restaurant. It was my suggestion that we eat there when we visited the grounds of the estate. After we left I felt I had to apologize. My entre was very tasty but my friend's was not...neither the chicken salad or the croissant. And the custard apple tart was a huge disappointment...hardly any filling and a thick, too thick, crust. Our server was very nice and said they are not having enough staff and not enough tickets being sold. Well, that will continue and be worse if they don't live up to their promise in providing good food. For the prices charged ($11.50 for each dessert) the diner should have a sumptuous experience that will recalled with delight.
