This review is not so much about the Stable Cafe as it is about the Deerpark. PLEASE reopen the Deerpark. I never go to the Stable Cafe. I feel it is full of tourists. I am a pass holder and do not want to be rushed.
I had a reservation and I knew I was a little late so I called ahead and arrived at 12:05pm for a 12pm. My son and I were parked at a table in the middle of the floor and the servers had to turn sideways to get by us. As soon as the appetizer came, our entree soon arrived. It was rushed and not pleasant.
The servers were EXCELLENT and the food was fine. I would recommend the Stable Cafe for a regular meal, not a yesterday.
I will not do this again. PLEASE REOPEN THE DEERPARK!
Awesome! Had a sampler platter and enjoyed EVERYTHING!! Enough for two; although, we managed to add dessert. Wait staff was friendly and responsive.
Service was great! Food was a little disappointing.
The BEST wait-staff! Paula went out of her way to ensure I had the best dining experience.
The food was excellent and the overall experience was amazing!
Our server was great! We had a vegetarian, diabetic and a teen with gluten sensitivity in our party. The menu accommodated is all! Our server took our order and remembered all of the specific dietary restrictions when the food came. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was truly unique.
Presentation was beautiful. Food was tasty and well prepared. Very enjoyable experience! Loved the decor and the fact we were eating where George Vanderbilt once kept his prized horses. Memorable!
As a Biltmore Season passholder, I've eaten at the stable cafe numerous times. Pre-pandemic, I would have given it 5 stars across the board. However, the last two times I've been there, it has been sub-par. I will give the waitress 5 stars. She was great. However, the food was meh. I'm not sure why they call their chips "housemade" because they definitely came from a Lay's bag. They were "fine", but don't advertise as a housemade when they clearly aren't. The rotisserie chicken was really good, however, I miss the mashed potatoes and broccolini that I used to be able to get with it. They don't have those options anymore. My husband's burger and fries were good, he said. However, the whole meal wasn't worth the price we paid. Until they go back to their previous stellar menu, we won't be back.
Ke was our server, she was amazing! Very helpful and attentive. Our food was hot, and delicious. And dessert was top notch.
Great meal and would highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich.
Very cool atmosphere in the original barn of the estate. Delicious brisket.
Sampler plate is great, but huge. Enough for 3 people.
We had the best server! She was very knowledgeable about the property and was very attentive to us. The food was very good and the Stable is a amazing venue to eat.
Unique setting with good service and adequate food.
You MUST include some kind of dining when you tour the House and grounds. This is a great choice.
Would return, the food was good, but we requested the upper level on our reservation and they would not seat us up there. Said it was a private party . Went up to check it out after we ate and the place was empty.
Perfect place to rest after touring the house that is nearby. Restrooms too. Loved our waiter and the ambience of the Stables.
We will be back. The Stable Café offers unique atmosphere and delicious food.
Great food and service as always. I have dietary restrictions and they are always able to accommodate my needs. The food service is always quick as well. I always eat lunch at The Stable Cafe when I visit Biltmore. They never disappoint!
Lovely meal. Food was delicious. Varied menu with good value fir the price.Ambience was remarkable. To be dining in one of the stalls in Vanderbilts horse barn was nostalgic. Enjoyable experience.
We love having lunch at The Stable Cafe each time we come to the Biltmore. This time we brought family with us and they loved it too.
We had a wonderful lunch at the Stable Cafe! Food was delicious and our waiter, Carlos was excellent! This was our birthday celebration and this lunch made it very special!
The staff was very friendly and welcoming- our meals and wine were delicious!
Beautiful atmosphere and great food! Definitely make a reservation!
Celebrating our Mother’s
Just wasn’t what I expected. Food was subpar and expensive. It was loud. Waitress was nice and attentive just wasn’t worth it in my opinion.
Servers were friendly and efficient. Food was excellent!
The food was delicious, but a bit overpriced. Great service and a wonderful place to have a sit down meal at Biltmore Estate.
We really enjoyed the Stable! The decor and set up was pretty neat. The booths were in renovated stalls, so we were socially distanced. I had the pulled barbeque pork and my husband had the bbq chicken sandwich and both were really good. We splurged on dessert with the red velvet cake. It was great, but too big to finish, so we took it home.
Our server was responsive. We'd definitely eat there again. Recommend you make a reservation before your visit.
I thought the food was great and the server was friendly
We had 3:45 PM reservation and we finished our tour earlier when expected and we were able to move our reservation up by more than an hour and that was very convenient for us and greatly appreciated.
The Stable Cafe met and exceeded our expectations. The Staff was warm and professional and the food was delicious. We were celebrating my Wife’s Birthday and the Cafe treated her with a beautiful dessert. We will visit again when we are at Biltmore.
Grilled Cobb salad was not fresh and the sampler plate meat was tough. Would not recommedn
We had delicious food and an attentive server. This was our fourth time eating here and every time it has been great. This time I had the roasted chicken breast with bbq baked beans and roasted carrots. It came with Alabama white sauce which is like a mayonnaise/mustard sauce to dip or spread over the chicken. All of it was DELICIOUS. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich with fries. The pork was tender and the blackberry bbq sauce was not overly sweet or spicy. MAKE SURE TO MAKE RESERVATIONS BEFORE YOUR VISIT TO THE BILTMORE. There weren’t any openings when we were there on a Tuesday in April. The whole place was busy.
Everything tasted great, but the menu was limited and a bit over priced. If visiting The Biltmore the Stable Cafe is a convenient place to eat.
Very enjoyable. Very much enjoyed the Stable atmosphere.
Terri was our server... she was great.
Love the Carolina mustard BBQ sauce.
Fries are terrific.
The brisket was delicious!!
The husband had the sampler and loved it. We had the apple with pound cake (can’t remember the name) for dessert and it was delicious as well.
Service was excellent. Had eaten here recently and food had improved this time. We were seated in a booth as requested and a special dessert plate was presented to one guest as requested. A bit pricey for standard fare but always a treat.
