Biltmore tickets or an annual pass are required to visit all restaurants on the estate.
Date day with my wife. Great food. Only issue was we had to push issue with reservation as initially they would not honor our reservation. With some pushing the issue was resolved.
Very good food and service. Have outstanding gluten free food options. Had the “feast for two” pulled pork, brisket and half a chicken with two sides. Filled us up and got to take half of it home for supper. 👍🏻
It was a delicious meal, service was very quick!
Delicious food at reasonable prices, good drinks, friendly server. We were seated in a “stalled” area so noise level was low enough for conversation. We had reservations and were seated within 5 minutes of our appointed time.
Adorable restaurant - worth the visit. Housed in old stables, ask for a booth. Food was healthy and fresh, didn’t love all the spices... might be best to choose more of the authentic North Carolina food rather than the salads. Though the chicken salad was very tasty. Reservations highly recommended gets crowded around lunchtime..
The Stables did not disappoint. We had reservations and we were seated immediately. Our server was very attentive and our food was delivered quickly. Everything was fresh and delicious. Wish we had saved room for dessert The apple cider is awesome!
My experience at the Stable Cafe was wonderful. I got the beef brisket sandwich which was tender and so tasty. I loved the barbeque sauce. Our server was so very attentive. My friend has an allergy to pepper and he went out of his way to assist her in selecting something that would fit her needs. He even got her a sample of something to see if she could eat it. I would highly recommend the Stable Cafe.
Brought first time guests who loved every minute of our visit. They were extremely pleased with the Stable. It never disappoints ❤️
We ate upstairs and our experience was awesome! We had a nice quiet corner table and an excellent waiter who took good care of us. The smoked beef brisket sandwich on a Kaiser roll had a great taste and the meat was very tender. This came with fries and coleslaw. My wife had the shaved root vegetable salad and was very satisfied. The tea was good and tasty and our waiter kept our glasses full. Overall this was a very pleasant experience.
Service was great, food was good(sampler), very fast service, good stuff.
The food and service were exemplary! I would definitely recommend this wonderful place!
Very interesting setting, food was great. Service was great!!!!!
I was very pleased with the service and the food at the Stable Café. We made reservations and planned an early lunch. So glad we did, this place was busy. I ordered the baked chicken and it was delicious. So much to see at the Biltmore Estate, I would highly recommend making time to eat here.
You want people to enjoy your venue.
You need a profit....your prices are way out of line for what is delivered.
Your servers and back of house staff should not serve old food.
The bread was cheap and the coleslaw was not fresh.
I work front of house at a 5 star Country Club.
I would not have ever served pre-plated food that looked the way that Coleslaw did.
My son loved his chicken tenders and fries. The greatest thing was sitting inside of a horse stable!
I had the daily special. It was fresh and tasted amazing! Possible the best pickle slices I’ve ever had!
We loved the experience and will definitely eat there again!
Given its large size and the number of patrons we had fairly low expectations. But I am happy to say we were quite wrong. The staff was very friendly and the food was very good. They were very attentive to my husband's gluten free requirement and happily made adjustments. I would definitely go here again.
Interesting restaurant with good food and service.
Our waiter was great. He was professional took care of us but did not bug us to death. We received our food quickly and it was delicious. Chicken salad, cheeseburger and fries. Food was hot. Restaurant was not loud and we loved the decor. Very nice place. Good selection of food
Always a good meal at the Stable Cafe! Fun to be there after a tour of the Biltmore house. My granddaughter liked that the space used to House the horses.
Friends from China, enjoyed food and venue. Service was excellent, and enjoyed the stable setting. Thank you
All our choices for a group of 4 excellent!
Especially enjoyed the soup!
Service was great!
Loved being in the stables to eat! A nice touch! We enjoyed our day! sF
Very enjoyable. Waiter was very friendly and helpful. Food was very good. My husband and I shared the sample platter for 1 and it was plenty.
Very nice all around.
Arrived with high expectations and my only complaint was that I did not feel the food tasted as good as I expected. As a country boy raised on home grown vegetables, perhaps the choice of spices used were different from what I was accustomed to. Would I come back in the future? Absolutely.
Great service, Great food ...Very pleased with quality of food and speed we were served.
The food was mediocre at best. Did not live up to its advertising
Excellent Service at the cafe! Arrived a few minutes ahead of our reservation a DNA’s seated immediately. Our waitress was pro,pt and helpful, offering suggestions. Food was quick to arrive and very good. I had the corn chowder and my husband had the meaty stable platter. The fall pie sampler for dessert was outstanding!
Great atmosphere, great service and most important, great meal.
On the first entree, the shrimp was stale, tasted of iodine. Also, there were only 4 shrimp. The pasta in the dish was cold.
On the second entree, the sampler plate had a lot of food, too much, but none of it very good. Better to have quality and an attractive plating.
Also, I was due a passholder's discount and didn't notice until we were gone that I didn't receive it.
It was an uncrowded time: no excuse for a rushed presentation or forgotten discount.
It is convenient but chaotic. Food is good and delivery is prompt.
Had a really relaxing lunch. Very comfortable with AC on a warm day
Waitress was so professional
Wonderful service, great bbq sampler platter. Smoked chicken was our favorite. To die for chocolate mousse cake!
Food wasn’t good
We have eaten here before with great experience and food. Planned a get-together at Biltmore House between friends from SC, TN, and IA. Our reservation was a bit late for our events of the day. We inquired, and they were most accommodating to move us up almost an hour. Our wait staff, Holly, was super! What fun we had visiting with her. The food and service were 5-star. Tip: order the blackberry iced tea, mixed half & half with unsweetened tea. Perfection! Half the calories, and not too syrupy sweet.
My husband and I walked in exhausted after doing 2-2hr tours of the house in very hot weather. I have many diet restrictions and loved the bison burger with fries, and I believe pickled onions...The Stable worked with my limited diet and the food was great. (The air conditioning was wonderful too.)
This is a perfect place to rest after a tour and enjoy amazing food quickly! It is very interesting to eat inside the original stable.
Our visit was in September and it was a very warm day. The air conditioned café was a blessing and I'm glad I made reservations ahead.
Good food and good service in a historic place. Had a bacon candied walnut salad with plump delicious shrimp. Hubby had Carolina pulled pork. All delicious.
My chicken salad sandwich which was very good. Of course it was the most expensive chicken salad I have ever eaten but not surprising since it is on the Biltmore estate. My husbands pulled pork sandwich was not as great. It was on the dry side. Overall, it is a very neat place to visit and conveniently located if you are wanting to dine on the Biltmore estate and not pay a huge fortune .
Food very good but a bit overpriced. Eating in the old horse stables great ambiance however.
