   The venue is stunning and view from the dining room window is out of this world. The food was amazing we ordered the champagne afternoon tea but was advised this didn't come with tea as well - bit unusual !! We practically had the dining room to ourselves. The scones were served warm and lovely cake selection as well as finger sandwiches - left very full !!

   Location and view a real plus for this restaurant, food was excellent. Only down side was the service, although all the members of staff were very friendly & welcoming they between them forgot to ask if we wanted any desserts or coffees after our meal, not good enough really.

   Nice view but overall a disappointment and definitely not worth the price. Waiters got our orders wrong, steak was terribly overcooked, fish on salad tasted so odd that we mistook it for cheese, and truth is nothing else our big party had was above average. Overall a very disappointing experience after the great food we have had at random cafes and restaurants in Cornwall, and definitely lacking for a restaurant charging this range of prices (i.e. not your typical cafe or road side takeaway) . Didn't help that the experience started with slow and dismissive service (despite us being the only guests), though this did improve through the meal. That being said, we would give special note to the manager who did try to pay us more attention after the first few mistakes came to his attention, and later tried to make it up to us.

   Food was very disappointing, lamb shank did not look very appetising and was not very tasty, not enough vegetables. French fries were dry and stoggy. I would not recommend the restuarant. The serving staff were very good.

   Not sure whether fault of Open Table or Harbour Hotel, but there were no details of our booking. Waiter came across as rather abrupt and patronising - don't think it was meant - possibly lost in translation, but customer service training may be beneficial. Other female staff were more friendly. Food was ok. Wasn't the best burger I've ever had, but was nice. Wine was awful - but assume was very cheap as we went for a 2 Dine for £29 Deal. Hotel is lovely inside, decor v. nice. Other staff friendly. Wasn't the worst dining experience, but not the absolute best either - it felt like we were slightly second-class customers because we were dining using the hotel's own deal - I've never been made to feel like that before anywhere. That said, as I live locally I wouldn't rule out going back again, and when I've been for a Spa Day previously the service was much better.

   Open table booking had been lost !! Food good quality, but staff need training in service provision. Lounge and restaurant cold, no open fires alight. No coffee offered. No 'nibbles' with Champagne.

    The food was very good as was the service. I was however annoyed that the hotel was not aware of the booking I had done online despite the fact I had received an email co formation. On my booking form I asked for another time but received no response. When we arrived the dining room was fairly empty so an alternative time was possible. I don't think it's good enough when the online system encourages you to use the open table system but doesn't connect with the hotel. This could possibly have left the hotel in the invidious position of not being able to cater for the number of people who in good faith believe their booking has been confirmed.
