The food was delicious. However, this was a special birthday meal, which was indicated when the reservation was made, and no mention was made of said birthday. There are many restaurants to celebrate special occasions at, and unfortunately this is not one of them. If you don't intend to do anything special, then do not ask the question when making the reservation.
The Happy Hour options were great! From the drinks to the food, everything was delicious. My favorite was the goat cheese spread, yum!
Just home from four days in California. The wife wanted to go to flower child. I suggested St. Francis since we had been there for customer appreciation day last month and the food was wonderful. And our fur kids could dine with us on the patio. So that is what we did. Cathy’s commented about her salid all the way home. Hope to go back again soon.
My girlfriend and I thought we’d try something new as we were on our way to a concert. Neat little place and our service was great and the food was delish!
Second time in and food just as good.
The overall dining experience was positive. The food was good and creative. Interesting combinations. On open table we requested seating on the patio, but our request was not honored. Music was somewhat loud for our group, but we could take part in table conversation.
We went for brunch because Dennis Rowland was the featured Jazz singer, a well known and beloved entertainer in Phoenix. The food was as expected, great!
Best Sunday brunch, listening live band jazz and eating the best eggs Benedict with salmon in town
The food and service every time my wife and I have been there for lunch and brunch, has been great! "Big shout out" to Raul and Alysha for great service and making us feel welcomed and special.
Delicious and surprised to see that they had a little toy box at the entrance which kept our toddler amused.
Had to send my chorizo scramble back twice because it was cold.
Everyone else enjoyed their me
4 friends finally got together & enjoyed the time catching up over a nice breakfast! I do wish the portion of quiche had been a bit more generous, or perhaps add another side such as fruit. The cinnamon roll was good. Very nice server.
Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. Service was timely without rushing us. The food was excellent!
No matter what we order off the menu it is always wonderful
Very high noise level. Hard to have a conversation. We went during Restaurant Week. Ran out of 2 of their notable dishes by 8:15. Will not go back.
We have been to St. Francis in the past, mostly for Sunday Brunch. While we enjoy the food and service, going to brunch was mainly to hear Dennis Roland at the request of our out of town guests. The food and service were perfect, the wait staff was attentive without being intrusive. Our table request was honored. A small substitution was made without hesitation. We were disappointed to learn on arrival, however, that Mr. Roland was only performing one Sunday/month. I didn't see any mention of that in the information that Mr. Roland performs at brunch. Had I known that, I could have let my guests know so that they could decide if they still wanted to go to brunch there. They may have decided to go anyway, but it would have been nice to let them know.
My go to for Brunch. Lili was our server and was wonderful. I've never had less than excellent service or food here.
Went there for customer appreciation day. Got a free pancake with an entire. We had the chorizo omelet and the pancake. Spectacular!!!! And the place is dog friendly so we will be going back.
Exceptional in every way. I had been looking forward to coming back to Phoenix since I saw St Francis on a food TV show last year. It did not disappoint - in fact , it far exceeded my expectations. Food- service- drinks- decor - everything was 5 star. I asked for a stack of business cards. I'm promoting you guys on FB and other social media. Leaving cards at my friend's guest house in Phoenix , and with my other friends in Phoenix.
Great food and great service. Try the rice bowls. They are out of this world.
St Fancis never disappoints. The food is so refined and tasty, and the staff is so friendly. St. Francis is much better than its sister restaurant Phoenix public market
Waiter excellent. Food extraordinarily slow.
The food is always delicious and the brick oven offerings are numerous - to include unconventional items Luke their amazing brick oven cooked pancake that is amazing.
Can't say enough about this place. The service is great, food is great and we really enjoyed the customer service appreciation pancake, enough to feel uncomfortably full but would not change a thing! We will be back soon.
Love this place. We call it our staple and come back to the positive atmosphere every time. I have only had 1 meal that was slightly salty. Please try this lovely place.
We really appreciated the light, bright atmosphere and the excellent service from Alex. He kindly recommended several options and all of his recommendations were enjoyed. We look forward to returning!
Great yummy breakfast!! Brought some friends who had never eaten at St. Francis..they loved it! Bakery items melted in our mouths, veggies in omelets tasted like they had been picked from the garden that morning!
Only suggestion was please turn down the volume... the music was too loud especially for a Sunday morning brunch. The music should be a background..not something you have to talk over.
The music was at a decent level which I really appreciate. Nothing worse than having to scream across the table to your dinner partners because they can't here you over the music. The food was good and there was plenty of it. The service was okay; he did keep the beverage glasses full, so that's a plus. It seemed to take a really long time for our order to come to the table; in fact the manager came to the table to apologize for the wait. While I enjoy the company of those I was with; I think two hours is a little long for dinner. I wasn't thrilled with having to use valet parking, but you have no other choices.
The service was fantastic! Wonderful timing never had to Waite or ask fir anything. We were offered a free YES FREE appatizer from the chef. It was this amazing pancake with apples and a whipped cream and did a mention the pancake was light and fluffy with chunks of chocolate! Wow it was scrumptious just dont fill up on it, or you won't be able to enjoy the rest or your meal.
The wood grilled chicken was literally the best chicken dish I have ever eaten
Too loud! Sat our party of 4 next to a party of 10. Should've requested a move....food was ok.
The food is so good here - and always something just a little different, but not so much that it gets weird and strays afar from what it started out as. I little bit noisy but not so much as to impede conversation. Definitely go.
I thought the food was good but nothing memorable. However, the ambiance and service were fantastic. Our server was super friendly and accommodating without being fake. One of our table mate's food was late. She apologized profusely and then comped us for it. It's a great place to gather. Great atmosphere, not stuffy at all. It was a gastropub that wasn't trying hard to be cool and that was the best.
Took some good friends here before a Dbacks game. It was their first time and they loved it.
Always start with the pancake...
Just not a comfortable
Ambiance. Too loud, seating is uncomfortable and too hot. I want to really like it but I just don't and I have tried many times. My servers were confused and slow as well. It just seems like the control and efficient flow is gone.
Great . Love the atmosphere
Food and cocktails were both amazing. All the ingredients were fresh and portions were good but not too much. Service was polite, but slow and amateurish for the quality of restaurant.
My best friend and I just had our 2nd annual bday dinner here, our favorite spot. Food was amazing as always and they even gave us a slice of cake on the house to celebrate. Only down side is the noise level, it's very loud in there, but still worth it. We'll be back every year, LOVE and highly recommend.
Food was great and the service was even better. Popped in for a work happy hour and had a group about half the size originally anticipated. The server never acted inconvenienced by the table being less than we had planned for, engaged in friendly dialogue through the happy hour gathering, hazed one of our snippy companions (in a very plasyful and fun manner), and just delivered a great HH experience.
The Roasted Salmon Superfood was absolutely SUPER and amazing. I wish we lived closer so we could be there often just for this dish. The service was great and the menu was creative and delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant!
