The best shrimp cocktail!
The service was very good, the food did not live up to expectations
The best steakhouse in the world hands down. Shrimp cocktail is the bomb. History of the place makes the excellent food that much more
Great food and service!
Steaks were amazing. Service was outstanding! Filet and ribeye were cooked to perfection!
Food and service always exceptional !!!!
We have our birthday, anniversary, and pre-show dinners at St Elmo's! !!
The desserts are absolutely phenomenal !!!!!
Outstanding service and making the appointment was seamless online. I plan to return in a few weeks to celebrate my housing / relocation to Naptown.
Excellent steak, and service.
While attending a trade show the last 3 years, the meal at St. Elmo's is always a special treat. Pricey, but an excellent meal and ambiance.
Very kind and friendly staff. Phillip was our waiter and was EXCELLENT! I highly recommend Phillip!
I've been a long time supporter of St. Elmo's and will continue to be! The food has always been excellent as well as the service too. Other than than the steaks everything else was perfect. Unfortunatley instead of ordering my typical Classic Filet, I tried the Dry Aged Bone-In Filet.
It was terrible! (I would rate the steak that I had a 4.5 out of 10)
It was also very difficult for the Chef to cook it they way that you wanted as one of the steaks had to be sent back and cooked longer. Unfortunatley both steaks were marbled heavily with tendons...
Worst Steaks that I've ever had at St. Elmos...
Mentioned it to our waitress and the manager was very professional and unexpectedly removed them from the check. She had mentioned that they had served 170 Bone-In Filet steaks and we had the only two bad ones so far - lucky me with my business dinner.
I still Love St. Elmo's and will continue to frequent their restaurant, I'll just never order the Bone-In Filet again.
This was my second trip to st. ELMOS and it was amazing....i can't wait for another trip back and as usual the steak and shrimp cocktail were spot on!!!
The place was much louder than normal. We couldn’t hear our own conversation. Previous visits had more of a quiet cozy feel we enjoyed. We had never sat in this area and would not accept this area again. The service was much better than before and has always been great. i had to send the $60 ribeye back to cook longer, and then was still not well done the 2nd time. Was better, but well done is no pink.. this ribeye was reddish inside at first and pink the second. Not best of the best as i have experienced before. It was not the fault of the waiter. Despite the problems with the steak, he kept working his tail off to please us and made us feel like the only customers he had in a very crowded area. Very likely the best waiter anywhere ever. But the ribeye that I had returned for because it was the best i ever had.. was just average this trip.
The experience and food was quite good, great setting to talk business. Where the restaurant fell short was mostly to do with our server who did not mention the "Special" that had the same name as a regular dish was an extra $30 per plate. Spending $55 on a very good steak is kinda the top of my limit, even on business, but then getting an unexpected bill for $85 a steak times 5 people ruined the experience.
Overall our tables meals were good and the evening was great. Wine, aps and ambiance was great. Waiter was a superstar. I gave 4 stars. I love St Elmo’s.
Great food & great service
The best steak house in INDY my husband had a huge steak and told me it was one of the best steak restaurants I've ever took him to.
Sara Wessel: exemplary service!!!
The service and the food was wonderful, as always. George took great care of us.
Outstanding food and service. Always meets my expectations.
