We had a very lovely evening. Anniversary dinner, and everyone was very kind and polite. Our waiter was excellent. Food was fabulous as always. We are on a budget so we do not visit St. Elmo's very often because of the expense but do like to treat ourselves every once in a while to a great experience. Definitely my favorite restaurant in Indy, hand down.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience when we ate at St. Elmo on March 17, 2023. The shrimp cocktail; bacon, lettuce and tomato salad; bean soup; steaks; and chocolate mousse pie were all delicious. Even more importantly, our server, Glen, was outstanding, displaying a level of skill and implicit pride in his work that inspired our respect. We thank you so much for a wonderful evening.

This place came highly recommended by family and friends. Did not disappoint! The only negative sentiment I could express is that we felt slightly rushed. Food was delivered beyond promptly and dishes clears before we even put our utensils down. When dining at a place like this one likes to relax and linger. That is not what we felt, but overall was great!

Although the soup and shrimp were very good, I gave the food an overall poor rating because the steak (the reason we came) was burnt and hard. I'm very disappointed. I left feeling St. Elmo Steak House is very overrated.

Average. Server was great, wait was not. Too many people. Acoustics need help, music playing but the noise level cancelled everything out. High ceilings could handle sound absorption. Small tables could use more space. Being honest, travel the country and Steakhouses are priority. Staff was the best part. Cleaned my plate!

This was my first time visiting, and it absolutely lived up to my (already very high) expectations. The atmosphere at St Elmo is phenomenal - warm, classy, cozy, and the service was beyond outstanding. Fantastic steaks and sides, and the lobster bisque is something I will never forget. Highly recommend packing up any extras and saving room for dessert - the bourbon cake is to die for. An unforgettable experience for sure.

Had a great time at St Elmo’s. The food was amazing. My prime rib was one of the best I have ever had. Wife’s lamb chops were great. I knew the cost going into it but still think it is a bit over priced. Will still go again. Billie the waiter was fun to have as he made us laugh quite a bit.

We were there for my husbands birthday/supercross. Everything was wonderful from the food to the service, we had Jeff and Philip as our waiters and they were fantastic! We go every year and I would recommend to anyone going to Indianapolis.

Steak wasn't what I expected,it was cooked to where I wanted it but it wasn't hot and lacked the flavor I was expecting for the price. Waiter made the night great very knowledgeable and entertaining. Shrimp cocktail and the blueberry bread pudding was superb but the night was not worth the money and the hype everyone makes it out to be hopefully it was just a off night but I won't be going out of my way to come back
