   Great food! The shrimp cocktail sauce was HOT and SPICY but so good!!! And the filet was butter!! The chicken breasts were inhaled by my husband so i cant comment on their taste..but apparently they were scrumptious! The cocktails were fun too..the .Bermuda Triangle did not disappoint! Our server Mark was awesome and spot on with his knowledgeable recommendations! Wish i had tried the Hawaiian fish..but the filet was superb! We will be back!

   We enjoyed an intimate dinner downstairs in the wine cellar for my husband’s birthday- Anthony did everything he could to enhance our experience. As always the shrimp cocktail was superb as was the filet Mignon- our cocktails were also impeccably delicious!

   Food wasn’t very hot when served. We didn’t mention it to Waiter as restaurant was very busy. He was very pleasant & attentive. Enjoyed mostly.

    Food and service out of this world. We were celebrating a big birthday and our server made us feel amazing. Shrimp cocktail was better than we remembered, steak was perfect. All we ask, put some creamed corn on the menu. Amazing night!!

    First time coming here. Was referred by a friend and my gosh it was an amazing experience. Our server Philip was very amiable, quick and attentive. Food was amazing and overall just a great first time. Will definitely recommend!!

    We had a very lovely evening. Anniversary dinner, and everyone was very kind and polite. Our waiter was excellent. Food was fabulous as always. We are on a budget so we do not visit St. Elmo's very often because of the expense but do like to treat ourselves every once in a while to a great experience. Definitely my favorite restaurant in Indy, hand down.

    The food and service was exceptional. There was a large, very loud and inebriated party that made our experience not 100%. I wish the staff would have said something to them as several other tables looked annoyed as well.

    Very noisy guests near us. Took way too long to be greeted by our server and she was not at all attentive. The busboy was great and tracked down our server a couple times.

    My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience when we ate at St. Elmo on March 17, 2023. The shrimp cocktail; bacon, lettuce and tomato salad; bean soup; steaks; and chocolate mousse pie were all delicious. Even more importantly, our server, Glen, was outstanding, displaying a level of skill and implicit pride in his work that inspired our respect. We thank you so much for a wonderful evening.

    This place came highly recommended by family and friends. Did not disappoint! The only negative sentiment I could express is that we felt slightly rushed. Food was delivered beyond promptly and dishes clears before we even put our utensils down. When dining at a place like this one likes to relax and linger. That is not what we felt, but overall was great!

    Although the soup and shrimp were very good, I gave the food an overall poor rating because the steak (the reason we came) was burnt and hard. I'm very disappointed. I left feeling St. Elmo Steak House is very overrated.

    Average. Server was great, wait was not. Too many people. Acoustics need help, music playing but the noise level cancelled everything out. High ceilings could handle sound absorption. Small tables could use more space. Being honest, travel the country and Steakhouses are priority. Staff was the best part. Cleaned my plate!

    This was my first time visiting, and it absolutely lived up to my (already very high) expectations. The atmosphere at St Elmo is phenomenal - warm, classy, cozy, and the service was beyond outstanding. Fantastic steaks and sides, and the lobster bisque is something I will never forget. Highly recommend packing up any extras and saving room for dessert - the bourbon cake is to die for. An unforgettable experience for sure.

    Service was excellent. Food was very good - cocktail sauce on the shrimp cocktail was like a flame thrower in your nostrils - we weren’t aware that was what they were known for but the waiter did give us a warning. Overall very good experience.
