Everything was excellent as we always expect. From the service, to the shrimp legendary cocktail to the cocktails. The steaks were prepared as ordered - perfect medium rare on the NY Prime Strip. The Bean soup was wonderful as a starter. The green bean, spinach, Potatoes Romanoff and the onion rings were all excellent as well. The entire meal for 6 of us was splendid. Highly recommend if in Indy - a must stop at a steak institution!

An Indianapolis staple! We first celebrated our wedding day with a meal at St. Elmo’s, and it was so unforgettable that we’ve made it a tradition every year for the past 15 years. The incredible food, top-notch service, and timeless atmosphere keep us coming back. A must-visit for any special occasion!

It's a beautiful place. You especially need to go have a drink at 1933 for an after dinner.

Experience is always fun, however the prices are getting out of hand. I understand paying for what I ordered, and that everything is more pricey today, but it seems to be a bit excessive, just for the experience. Our server was attentive, but NOT overly friendly. Not much tableside manner. Not the best Elmo's experience that I have ever had.

Made reservation months in advance for milestone birthday celebration…as expected it was busy as it was a Sat night with a lot of activity downtown. 2 hours for 2 people was longer than we expected, one of our entrees had to be sent back to kitchen, and overall it just wasn’t worth the money spent.

First time here and loved it. The shrimps cocktail was delicious Also had lobster bisque and a prime rib. All were spectacular. Hubby had a ribeye and it was good too. Drinks were good and generous pours. I had a lemon drop and Hubs has the St Elmo cola. We’ll be back. Best lobster bisque I’ve had in a long time. Best prime rib too.

We eat here quite often. Here recently we’ve been sharing the experience and taking other people with us. It exceeds their expectations… and per usual is exactly what we want and expect when we come back.. That would be why we dine here so often!
