We go to St Cecilia a lot an we love it. They truly care about you having a good dinning experience. This time, we had a terrible waiter, Charles, and things were turning in the wrong direction but the manager
Mary Kate saved the day - she switched waiters and between Ray and Casey, which are both amazing, we had the best experience ever. Food was great -tender leaves in our green salad, Caccio.Peppe with grilled fish and the chocolate hazelnut ice cream. Thanks Mary Kate and team for a great dinning experience!
Great service. Love the ambiance. Food - amazing!
Very nice...loved the build out... restaurant was beautiful. Food was great service was great
Absolutely love St Cecelia’s. Ford Fry does a great job and the service is fantastic (Alex, you rock!). It can be pricey if you do it up right, but that’s kind of the point. If we have to pick one special place in Atlanta, this is usually it.
Our server, Megan, was wonderful! Great service and personality!
A few things to note b4 comments on the establishment
#1 It was out anniversary
Low expectations bc we were out of town, last minute reservation due plane delay causing us to miss prior reservation
#2 It was a late reservation, circa 9pm/9:15pm
#3 It was a Friday night
Service was an 15 out of 10! No restaurant has ever had each restaurant staff member recognize a special event at each greeting. I’m talking host, to person bringing bread (amazing btw), to server and manager.
Food was delicious with wonderful presentation. We’re not a fan of the Steelhead (salty and didn’t seem fresh), but the taste was phenomenal, thoughtful and layered.
We loved the oysters. Fresh and the in-house spicy sauce was a pleasant compliment.
Food/Service - we were debating the mushrooms vs the sunchokes, decided to go with mushrooms...great choice as the whole sauce below the mushrooms is the right consistency and seasoning to juxtapose the hearty mushrooms. BUT, they brought out the sunchokes ANYWAY...wonderful and thoughtful service! Sunchokes are a must too! The layered sauce complimented the crispy sunchokes.
Ambiance, though busy and on a Friday night, they sat us at a window seat. There was so much hustle and bustle in the restaurant, but we heard nothing. It was as if we were in our own bubble (figuratively and literally). The noise level is high, but you can still have a nice conversation without yelling or needing to speak directly into someone’s ear.
No room for dessert, but we’ll be back the next time we’re in town!
Clay was the best server. Halibut and short rib ravioli were perfect! Great for date night.
Sat at the bar. Great food, staff and service!!
per usual... amazing dining experience at St. Cecelia. between the tasty cocktails and delicious food, always enjoyable.
The staff made my meal that much better. They were all outstanding from the door to my table and back.
The wonderful smell that greeted you as you walk into the restaurant translated well to the dishes that were served up.
I expressed to the Waitress that the sauce/garnish included with my meal was delicious. She later surprised me with the hand written. WoW. Amazing food and even better service.
The food is so fresh and delicious! Best food and service I've had in a long time.
Really enjoyed our dinner at St. Cecilia. The space is very nice and the atmosphere is energetic without being too loud. The charcuterie board was great with a very nice portion of meats. The agnolotti deserves all the raves it receives. My wife had the halibut and loved that. Based on another review, we tried the figgy pudding cake. We wouldn't have tried it without having read about it and now we won't miss it when we go back. Finally, service was really good including saving my wife's doggy bag that we inadvertently left (and turned around to get as soon as we realized it).
Food was good but could’ve been better. Service was great very knowledgeable waiter
We sat outside on the patio. Amazing food and service!!
Wow! Just an outstanding experience at this restaurant. The service was exceptional, the food recommendations right on the money and then the food itself. Just truly "good to eat". great flavors and presentation. One of my all time faviorites.
Every meal at St. Cecilias is special. Thank you Matt for continuing to blow us away with your kindness and quality.
Music selection would not have been my choice and it was entirely too loud
The food and the service was absolutely amazing. I did find it privet than I expected
Great atmosphere/ decor
The look and feel of this restaurant is gorgeous and Inviting.
We loved everything we ordered from the meat and cheese appetizer to the bucatini pasta dish to the branzino fish
Our server Landon was knowledgeable, courteous and made it an enjoyable evening
Would totally repeat this dinner!
Overall good. Salmon was slightly over charred. Else good as always.
I love st. Cecilia
St Cecilia did not disappoint! The experience, service, and most importantly the food and in-house pasta always makes it a worthwhile visit. Not to mention the blow your mind dessert toffee covered fig cake. There are no words for how amazing that dessert is. Anyways, we will definitely be coming back.
The food never disappoints and the atmosphere is so inviting. Always great service.
I love this restaurant! Classy, delicious, and perfect for a special occasion! I will definitely go back again very soon!
It is a beautiful restaurant but the food was not impressive. Our waitress was very slow to get us our drinks and not attentive. Telling us we needed to order all our food at once even though we were doing appetizers. Our cheese board looked like a package of pepperoni had been opened and duped on our board and there was only one selection of cheese on our board, unless another selection was binding under the mound of pepperoni???? My entree was bland and flavorless. It was a disappointing meal and expensive!
Our waitress Emily was fantastic! She went through the entire menu to help us pick our food and she was a wonderful. It was a great, enjoying evening with a great friend.
We have visited St Cecilia the past three years for my birthday dinner; today, we went for my wife's birthday brunch. The thoughtful kindness of the staff perfectly matches the kitchen's delightful dishes. Reviews only allow for four pictures, but I can promise the desserts were as amazing as the rest of the meal!
We already knew St Cecilia would easily accommodate my wife's pescatarian-by-necessity diet. I was a bit more worried after being very recently diagnosed with a wheat allergy. I knew they would have something but was quite pleasantly surprised at just how much was available. The kitchen staff went above and beyond to contact the pastry chef and ensure that the gluten free options were also wheat free (something I've found isn't always the case).
Our server was also an absolute joy and took care of us every step of the way.
All in all, St Cecilia continues to be well worth the two hour drive from Augusta.
This was our second time eating here. We brought 5 of friends here for a party of 7. When I made the original reservation through Open table, the app told me that it only would make a reservation for 6 people instead. I booked the 6 people and called the next day to see if our 7th person could be squeezed in for our reservation and happy to report that you all accommodated our request.
Great food, lovely service
St Cecilia is always one of our favorites for a special night out! We particularly love their gracious accommodations for those of us with food sensitivities and allergies! And everything is ALWAYS delicious! (Cocktails and wine included!)
Prom dinner was fantastic!!!!
Great place for fine dining. Need to start with the appetizer, our server Melanie (the best server ever) suggested “The Cobia” and it was AMAZING... our entry plates where exquisites “lobster & sword fish”. But something that was surprising great was the desert, ufff, “the fig cake” something the everyone need to try !!!!
Great place, super recommended.
Fresh ingredients. Light and airy atmosphere.
Would so return!
Incredible food and service! Squid ink pasta and the chicken were incredible entrees! Great wine selection and incredible service!!
Not so keen on the change with the octopus dish. Sword fish was extraordinary!
