The food quality really needs to step up to match pace with the outstanding atmosphere and service. Grilled octopus tasted like a gas grill... Grilled swordfish was a three inch filet that was not cooked through, even medium. The pasta was the only good thing out of our courses.
Everything there is delicious!
We dined here a few years ago and loved it… great experience. We went back wi some friends last night and I’m happy to report that the vibe is still awesome, food is tasty and service is decent. Knocking one star off due to the hostess being a little rude. Otherwise a great experience.
Very nicely styled restaurant. Very friendly and attentive staff. Food was average. Clams were substituted for the shrimp without any notice to the waiter or us. Chicken dish was just ok. Pasta cheese dish was overly salty. Manhattan was superb.
The restaurant was awesome. this was our first time and it was recommended to us. they did not disappoint. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu. They also had a very good selection of bourbons, some that i would say are very hard to come by like WL Weller, at very reasonable prices. We were very happy with our dining experience and will go back when we are in ATL next.
Great meal with family on Black Friday. Everything was perfect! The fresh food was so wonderfully hot. The service was top notch.
Great food. Our server was super nice and super helpful
This was our fourth time dining at St Cecilia. We’ve enjoyed some truly spectacular meals there in the past but our most recent experience was truly disappointing.
There were four in our party, and we ordered two small plates and four entrees. The small plates managed to arrive after our entrees did, so we really had no opportunity to enjoy them as appetizers like they were intended. The staff also delivered delicata squash instead of fiori di zucca, and when I said something, the server took away the delicata and then later brought it back and said we could just keep it. Finally, the fiori di zucca showed up, and it included three pieces for a party of four, even though I’d specifically asked how many pieces came in an order, and the server said “four.” Unfortunately, the three others in our party said they were “off” anyway.
I ordered the veal special, which was as an enormous portion of food that I couldn’t finish. I wouldn’t have finished it anyway because the meat was over cooked and lacked any flavor. Another ordered the cacio e pepe, which suffered from a broken sauce, and another ordered the branzino which she described as “fair.” The squid ink pasta was tepid upon arrival and my friend who’d ordered it laid it aside after about five bites.
As it turns out, the best part of the meal was the delicata squash, which we hadn’t even ordered.
I ordered a glass of dessert wine, only to be served the wrong one.
We ordered a torta for dessert which tasted dry and stale. Hard pass.
Overall, I’m sorry to say that what was once a favorite Atlanta restaurant has gone to pot. From the service to the food, the evening was pretty disastrous. I hope they’re able to get their act together.
St Cecilia always a treat and great ambience, love the Ford Frye group. Hamachi crudo, Red Snapper crudo, Hamachi collar, pasta, romaine salad and great bottle of Cain red blend. Service superior. Can't go wrong here
Love the place - great cocktails and food. Went for a birthday dinner and marked it in the reservation, as well as called and told them them ahead of time, but dessert arrived with no candle, which was disappointing.
It seemed like too many people waiting on us, left gaps in their coordination and communication.
Bar was way too slow, and then served the cocktail in a mediocre water glass.
Great food. Service needs attention.
Really great help from the sommelier to choose a wonderful wine.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I took a friend out for his birthday. I was greeted by the chef and our waiter was great. He was extremely helpful with the menu and suggested some very good menu choices.
Everything was amazing and our server was great.
My third time here and although the food is good quality, service was great but the menu choices are underwhelming. We both had a hard time choosing an entree because nothing sounded very good compared to the last two times we ate there. I know they change the menu seasonally but unfortunately this time was overall very underwhelming.
Every dish was amazing - overall one of more consistently flavorful meals in a long time
Service and food was incredible. Truly appreciated the attention that was given while dining.
Absolutely stellar dinner.
Great service our waitress was awesome
Really enjoyed our dinner date in the restaurant. Thankful that they have honor my request for us to be seated next to the window. We have a great experienced and the service was awesome. We enjoyed the charcuterie board. The downside was the main entree. We have the halibut and Lumache pasta, both were salty. But we love the set-up of the restaurant as well as the ambiance.
Very good service, good food and environment
The food was AMAZING. I would go back in a heartbeat. My date and I loved the ambience and the service was great. Can’t wait until our next visit.
Excellent service! Great wine selections!
Nice experience and staff was very good
Great place for a celebratory dinner. Amazing food, drinks and atmosphere. Always have great service. Octopus, pastas and chicken are wonderful!
Celebrating 4 birthdays
The cacio e pepe is always awesome! The burrata starter is odd since it is just that, the burrata swimming in oil. The vongole dish had barely any vongole. The chocolate almond cake was great. The service was polite but extremely slow with having to wait to be able to start eating at the same time at least 10 minutes. It was my friend’s birthday and other than a small candle there was no attempt to make it special.
Birthday dinner for my mom - perfect place to celebrate. Great food and elegant ambiance
Food is delicious. Service is a little slow. Drinks didn’t come until the meal was served. Otherwise everything was excellent, beautiful and delicious. Excellent date spot or fancy dinner with friends.
The next best thing if traveling to Italy is not an option - outstanding!
Excellent as usual
Bar service was a bit slow.
We always have a good experience and love the food!
Amazing! We went for a birthday dinner and it did not disappoint!
The restaurant is located in an office building complex across from Phipps Plaza. They have a valet service that is only $3. That was the last bargain for the night! We had drinks that were great, especially the house specials. The menu is Italian. We had appetizers that were fabulous(octopus and squash), the bread was saturated in butter and was to die for, the main course was veal and branzino which were also great and we finished dinner with capacino and "apple pie". This was our first visit but is now one of our favorites in Atlanta. It is not cheap but you do get what you pay for in life.
Sold mothers home
Unreal. This restaurant is always outstanding. Just go and be amazed by the wonderful food and service.
Great service and excellent food. Great vibe too!
AMAZING the Food was out of this world. Even the fish was so fresh!
They were great and paid attention to our occasion and treated us awesome, as usual.
