Great food, very interesting and fun experience. Very sad that they closed on New Year’s Eve (two days after we ate there). Now I don’t know where I’ll ever find face bacon again. :(

This place is something special. It was a unique experience and the food had amazing flavors and textures. I can’t stop thinking about the fried chicken cotton candy!! Absolutely worth it!

Overrated. Overpriced. $600 for dinner and drinks for 2 and left feeling dissatisfied and a little scammed. Lots of smoke and mirrors, very little food.

The most epic dining experience ever. Brad blew my mind. The food is amazing but the experience is a once in a life time.

We had a fun 12-course tasting menu. The food was fantastic and we had the opportunity to try things we had never eaten. Very interesting dinner.

I described Square Root, during our dinner, as "New Orleans' El Bulli". If you're familiar with that world-renowned restaurant, then you know what Square Root is doing creatively with food. Yes, it's a very long tasting menu, and yes, it's a bit pricey for most folks, but if you want to escape the "ordinary" after too many dishes of oysters, shrimp, and pork done a thousand ways, by all means break out of your culinary box and grab one of the few seats at Square Root, where you can watch the culinary "chemists" prepare and construct food like you've never put in your mouth. Each dish is painstakingly prepared, as you watch, and presented and communicated as detailed as the preparation.

This was the best of the three times we have been. The selections, the tastes and the presentation were impeccable.

All seven courses were beautifully presented and savoury. The fact that the food is prepared directly in front of you enhances the experience. Very attentive service possibly because there were only two of us eating the seven-course dinner. Would not do the wine pairing again as the pours were miniscule.

One of the best 2 or 3 meals I have had in my life. And I have had a lot of amazing meals. I felt lucky to have dined here on such short notice. So unique. So delicious. The chef and sommelier were unpretentious and informative and made me feel comfortable despite the high price of the meal. We also had great company with some locals. Thank you!!!

A great experience all the way around. If you are a foodie and appreciate technique, then you will love Square Root. The wine pairings were well thought out and complemented the dishes. Will be back on our next pass through NOLA.

Truly unique and outstanding meal! The pre fixed menu is very interesting in its approach to familiar items and repurposes them in new and really tasty presentations and preparations.

Food was quite good, with a couple of little slips. My expectations are so high for meals like this -- we have been to wd-50, é, Blue Hill at Stone Barns, and a number of others -- that even the smallest error in the food or service is amplified, perhaps out of proportion.

The wine pairings were superb, with really interesting selections.

Outstanding dining in an atmosphere that is not the usual packed-in New Orleans experience. Its great to be able to view the kitchen at work and engage with the friendly staff while having a true gastronomic experience. The wine list has some gems but is not so huge that becomes confusing. Staff helpful in choosing the right match as we did not want the full wine match experience, although next time we may try that.

Very unique and different experience. Not ideal for a business dinner but most other occasions this is more than suitable. I will go back but probably not real soon.

The best restaurant I have had the pleasure eating at on my many trips to New Orleans. A multitude of creole, southern, and French influence which made each course extremely different from one another, and in the matter any other tasting menus offered.

Spectacular dinner with innovative twists on a variety of dishes. Strongly recommend to anyone looking for an inspiring meal. The value for the 7-course tasting menu on Tuesdays is spectacular.
