Special Thanksgiving Menu - Seasonal Drink Specials

The staff overall (especially the servers and host) seemed super overwhelmed but our server was super sweet about the whole thing. Food was AMAZING and the drinks were just as great. Will definitely be in again!
We needed a spot for a last minute business lunch with two vegetarians and a picky meat eater. All three of us were pleased with the menu selection and even more pleased with the food delivered to the table. Will definitely go again.
Food was absolutely amazing.
I luck out by getting Angela each time I’m here. She’s exceptional as is the entire team headed by an inspirational chef.
Tonight was no exception. Roasted carrot and ginger soup is perfect and the Black Sea bass was amazing.
Always look forward to coming back.
It was just wondering. An oasis of peace in a chaotic city. Just loved it. The people are wonderful and so is the food.
Our server was very nice but seemed to be alone, at times she received help from her peers but overall the team seemed under staffed. We sat directly in front of the open kitchen and the chefs lacked ANY “pep” or urgency. We waited 30-40 minutes for apps and another 40 minutes for entrees. Food was very good but some of it was warm not hot. Sadly, the temperature of the restaurant was very hot, we passed the thermostat as we walked out and it read 79.5 which made for an uncomfortable visit. I think if the above could be resolved it would be a homerun. The food was exceptional if they could get the temperature right and the ambience would be pleasant and hip at the correct temp!
Great service, staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food was great, good spot for breakfast lunch and dinner.
We ordered the steak and lobster special which was $25. A good value. However they did not offer any side dishes such as salad or hot veggie. Nor did they have steak sauce for the steak.
The food temperature was tepid and the lobster was slightly undercooked but edible.
And you have to walk up 2 flights of stairs to go to the bathroom. No acceptable, my disabled friend could not access the bathroom.
didn't check me in, so opentable thinks I'm a flake. We were there at 11:30 am they were out of half their menu including drinks. oversalted to the extreme. It was so bad I feel bad writing a review. So instead I wish the servers better training, the bar to be fully stocked, and less than half the menu to be 86'd before the end of the night.
Great breakfast! Large portions and the food was delicious!
My husband and I love this restaurant. Great food and drinks are always out of the ordinary and wonderful. We highly recommend the mushroom appetizer. It’s amazing. The ambience we love. It’s very modern inside. We will definitely be coming back again and again.
There wasn't much on the menu for vegetarians...even lacto-ovo ones.
Always outstanding drinks, food and service. A must try.
Food was amazing, reasonably priced, staff was friendly. The place had a nice ambiance. Will definitely come here again. I recommend coming here if you are a foodie but also want to spend a reasonable amount of money.
lovely sunday morning brunch on the sidewalk with friends. would definitely go back!
We LOVED Square 1682! My husband and I were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and we had an amazing time! Every staff member that we interacted with, especially the waitress went above and beyond to celebrate us! We will definitely be returning in the near future!
Staff were nice and attentive, but the food was not worth the money
surf and turf was absolutely abysmal. not at all worth the price. i ordered the squid ink pasta and the noodles were stuck together as if the entire dish had just been microwaved.
Great menu, options and the hospitality was superb!
Food always good and attentive service. Nice atmosphere
Everyone from the minute you walk through the door is friendly and upbeat. As always, the service and food were excellent.
Seeing Kitp is always a plus.
Drinks, food and service all exceeded expectations. Reasonable prices.
Their menu is VERY limited. I ordered the burrata which I thought would be a salad. It was just the cheese slathered on one slice of bread with arugula and tomato ( for $14). I asked the waiter what the brown stuff was. He asked if I was allergic to anything I said no. He replied just spices. I said this has mass to it it’s more than spices. He said spices and stuff, I said what is the “stuff”. He couldn’t tell me, so I wouldn’t eat it.
Never going back, thanks for ruining my anniversary dinner
Loves everything about this place. Hidden gem if you’ve never been. Great cocktails all the food was excellent.
the place was loud. a rowdy party of 3 men sat next to us for drinks; when 4 women joined them, they all stood and all 7 people were standing next to our table and talking as if it was a standing reception place. the waiters or manager did not tell them anything. very annoying for a couple who wanted to enjoy dinner. they should separate dinner from happy hour drinks. the food was good (but my salmon was very salty). the restaurant does not bring any complementary bread in the beginning. we bought corn bread.
The Tuesday Special was excellent, the food was outstanding and the value terrific.
Very friendly staff throughout. Excellent food with good selection on the menu. Would not hesitate to recommend.
Nice spot with good food and service. Falls short with regard to "niceties" such as utensils to self serve our appetizer and bread for the lovely sauce.
Nice place. Food was good & reasonably priced.
The service was great and food was delicious. They gave us a complimentary appetizer when the one we wanted was not available. Will definitely go back!
As a Kimpton Inner Circle loyalist we always love popping in to Square for brunch \ cocktails. The food and bits are always worth the time, and the cocktail program is a hidden gem in the city most people over look. Worth the stop.
Food was not worth the price. Frittata was bland, no contrast of flavor. The stuffed popovers did not taste fresh and the filling was not warm, just cold shredded cheese and lukewarm bacon. The duck wings and waffles were also a disappointment. Wings were too sweet, not enough spice. Waffle was bready, not fluffy. Server was nice, but not very attentive. Had to flag her down for every coffee or water refill or if we needed anything and since it was not busy, she wasn’t out on the floor much. Overall, a disappointing and overpriced brunch
Food was unique and very good. Server was very attentive with appetizers and entrees arriving at appropriate times. Enjoyed food service and ambiance.
This was our second meal at square 1682, and it was as good as we remembered it. Tasty and inventive food. Friendly service. The mushroom appetizer and the whole fish were especially memorable. We will be back.
Surf and turf
The omelet and the potatoes were excellent. Service and ambience were also outstanding.
Food was great, price was reasonable, service was excellent 🙌🏽
Wasted a large OpenTable rewards credit on this place. Food mediocre at best. Place was pretty empty but service was slow. A refill $13 (!) drink took forever to get to the table. Server didn't bring service utensils for shared food. One side dish wasn't even put in for order and arrived when we were just about done with the meal. At least that was the only half-way good dish - with the first few bites. Then it became very one note. And expensive! Had a $110 rewards and for 3 we still had to pay $88 and add the 20% tip on the full amount and we could have had a first rate dinner at one of many other Philly restaurants! We were standing outside after dinner and people came up and looked at the menu in the window. One of my party said Not worth it. They thanked us and moved on. Wish we had had that advice.
We have enjoyed S1682 over the years and through three chefs (that we know of). The food continues to be well conceived and well prepared. Tasty duck wings to share, followed by bone marrow raviolo. The whole fish is an impressive display, as was the surf and turf. We like the room, even if it gets a bit loud with the bar crowd. We were very surprised to see the place so empty on a Friday night. It is still a great place to eat.
Fresh food, great mimosas, LOVE the Process cocktail (favorite). Live live love this place!
