Chefs Brian McCracken and Dana Tough opened Spur in Seattle’s Belltown in 2008 and it’s been recognized by Food & Wine magazine as one of the country’s top restaurants. Acknowledged for turning out some of the best dishes and cocktails in town by local media, the Chefs were selected as "Rising Star Chefs" nationally by the industry insider magazine StarChefs. In 2015 Chef Jeff Vance and bar manager Seth Sempere earned "Rising Star" status as well. In addition to earning the attention of Wine & Spirits magazine, their cocktails have made Spur one of Seattle’s top 10 bars.

set menu for 2 and paired cocktails. one we didn't care for they changed straightaway no questions.everything was excellent - our server really took good care of us food was delicious/ beautiful presentation!

Love this place! It was my third time back and I will definitely keep coming. The food is phenomenal (my fav being the salmon crostini), the drinks are delicious and the service is always amazing. Always a crowd pleasure among my foodie or aspiring to be foodie friends!

Spur is one of my favorite Seattle spots. All of our previous visits were perfect however, I'm rating service as fair on this last trip. We were there 35 minutes before we received our first cocktail. Our waitress did comp the drinks but it was odd to be eating our first and second courses without drinks.

The slow-cooked pork cheeks were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. And the salmon crostini is a must try!

Yum! I can't wait to go back.

Drinks, food and service were all exceptional. Dishes were lite but full of flavor. The pecan, white chocolate, and bourbon desert was original and very good.

Brought another friend here to introduce to this local gem. We were not disappointed. Their salmon/marscapone crostini is out of this world!! I don't usually order burgers but this night I was in the mood. Phenomenal - simple which let the terrific flavors and textures through - perfectly seared with a crunch on the outside and really juicy inside. Rather than fries, I asked for a side salad. They gave me the chicory salad - lovely. My friend ordered the Mad Hatcher Chicken. It had a beautiful presentation and she raved about the flavors of each item - the perfectly-done chicken, watercress and beautiful pear tower. For wine lovers, they also have a nice selection of wines at very affordable prices. Highly recommended!

Portions are small, but oddly satisfying. Everything about the food was excellent, from the venison tartare to the sweetbreads, to the pork cheeks. Dessert perhaps capped it all. The "brown butter soil" beneath the ice cream was amazing! Topping it all off, our server was comfortable, had intimate knowledge of each dish, and was quite capable with wine pairings when asked. I'm definitely coming back!

My husband and I were somewhat underwhelmed by the food. As beautiful as the food was presented, it just wasn't flavorful for us. I did enjoy the chicken liver pate and dessert. But everything in between was just OK. I was happy that the staff was not snobby. The staff did work as a team, which is a mark if a good restaurant/owner. However, our drinks took a very long time to arrive. Our first course actually arrived before our first cocktail. We ordered the 5 course tasting menu for $75 each. Which is a bargain compared to the price of their individual entrees. Their sister restaurant, the Coterie room is excellent! The food is flavorful and service is on point. They are just located just a few yards from Spur.

In fairness, the reservation was made that day. I did not mind the communal seating but the chairs were uncomfortable after about an hour and downright unpleasant after two. The menu was prix fixe so we had no control of how long the meal would sitting on those stools was a major downer.

The food was overall very good. Interesting menu and unexpected, yet good, flavors. The only exception was the dessert which was a little overwhelming and had a lot of disparate flavors happening.

The cocktails were good, as always. We did have one hiccup with a cocktail and the server was insistent that they remake it until we were satisfied.

Which leads me to the service. Simply excellent. Warm and welcoming. Excited about their menu.

My dinner was amazing -- my guest felt his burger and fries were oversalted -- but, that may just be a matter of taste. Probably the best beet salad I've had anywhere in Seattle and the main course has me salivating to go back soon.

We got married on the Great Wheel and then headed to Spur for dinner with our small wedding party of five--including both brides in big poofy wedding gowns. They were awesome. There was plate after plate of amazing food, the wait staff was knowledgeable and had perfect timing on food and drinks. We loved every minute of our evening there. Although we were sitting at a table in the front of the restaurant we felt like we had a very private space. We will definitely be back.

Had an awesome time at spur. Fantastic food ,great wine attentive welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Definately will go back. Also I will recommend the slightly hidden gem. Spur delivers!!!!

This was our first time at Spur and we had a great dinner. The food tasted amazing - I had the chicken and want to go back for more!We will most definatly come back again.
