About Spuntino Wine Bar and Italian Tapas
Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas set out with the goal of introducing a wonderful breadth of world-class international wine that is paired with an expansive Italian, small plate menu. Our wine list and food menu are thoughtfully prepared and selected by a team that strives to introduce our guests to new, fresh Italian flavors.
Spuntino focuses on fresh, local and seasonal ingredients with a menu that changes four times a year. To make sure that we are using the best ingredients available we work closely with a number of farms in the area including Goffle Farm Poultry (Wyckoff, NJ), Blooming Hill Farms (Monroe, NY), and Alps Provisions (Long Island City, NY).
Wine is Spuntino’s second name! With over 50 wines by the glass, over 150 by the bottle, four wines on tap, and three wine flights offered daily, Spuntino really does have something for everyone.

Spuntino Wine Bar and Italian Tapas Ratings and Reviews
We went for New Year's Eve dinner and it wasn't bad. The wine list is impressive, but much of it is by the bottle. The food is pretty good. We expected it to be less casual than it was, but I guess that just makes it less of a hassle to choose an outfit. The food is maybe fairly priced if you're part of a large group. Our server and the manager were attentive and prompt. Lastly, I hate to say it, but the sangria was the worst I've ever had. For a wine bar, it really ought to have been better. Houlihan's has better sangria AND will swap the orange juice for pineapple juice if you want. I would go back to Spuntino, but only if I happened to get a gift card or someone else were paying. It wasn't a bad meal; I'd just rather spend my money on better places, and there are better places nearby.
Been here many times this time hostess wanted to sit us in empty front room rather than main dining room. When I asked for main dining she said that’s for reservations I said we have reservations she proceeded to sit us in back right in front of open kitchen. I asked about all the other empty tables & she grudgingly sat us at one. I guess that’s the type of treatment you can expect when you turn the front over to a disinterested 17 year old. Won’t be going back anytime soon.
My boyfriend and I came for date night and had the best time! We got wine flights, and 5 tapas to fill us up. Every dish and wine was delicious! Very impressed on the quality of the food, large menu and the very attentive staff. This is our new go-to place! Highly recommend for date night, late night, or drinks/dinner with coworkers after work.
Great service, our waiter was attentive and made good wine suggestions. The noise level was excessive, unless you enjoy shouting loudly at the person next to I would avoid the restaurant. It was not possible to hold a conversation with anyone other than your neighbor
Menu changes seasonal , food is always top notch . I have been to several of their wine dinners and they have been exceptional . We also love to dine here due to the wonderful hospitality of our server Cindy she is highly attentive and always makes you feel like family .
Great place to go with a group so you can try a whole bunch of things. I love vegetables and have found all their veggie dishes to be delicious, especially the brussel sprouts and cauliflower. The bruschetta are amazing as are the meatballs and truffle fries. The main course selections I've tried have been less impressive, but it doesn't matter because there are so many other interesting and delicious things to eat. It can get a bit loud, but not so much that you can't talk.
I was not happy with this restaurant. The food quality mediocre at best, wine selection terrible. Meatballs pasty, octopus outright terrible - tasteless except for celery and cut into thin slices. Looked pretty but useless. Pasta with long braised short ribs like beef stroganoff at high school cafeteria, arancini were mediocre, tiny golf ball sized and seemed to be mass produced.
