Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas
Spuntino focuses on fresh, local and seasonal ingredients with a menu that changes four times a year. To make sure that we are using the best ingredients available we work closely with a number of farms in the area including Alps Provisions (Long Island City, NY), Blooming Hill Farms (Monroe, NY) and Goffle Farm Poultry (Wycoff, NJ).
Wine is Spuntino’s second name! With over 50 wines by the glass, over 150 by the bottle, four wines on tap, and three wine flights offered daily, Spuntino really does have something for everyone.

AMAZING MEATBALLS AND RICE BALLS .
Delicious food and cocktails. We were a group of 3. It was fun sharing tbe small plates and trying so many different foods. We started with the Spuntini cheese board, which I highly recommend! Great service too!
Very good service and delicious food
Absolutely love the food and the amount of choices to choose from fantastic service especially at the bar
Always a good time here. Been here several times and are never disappointed. We will be back
Delicious but very pricey
Great night. Wonderful food.
Good restaurant with a wide selection of wines and tapa style dishes. Service was excellent. If you are looking for fun and group dinner its a great restaurant to be at.
Food was good - enjoyed the shrimp scampi bruschetta in particular. Nothing was super memorable. Service was slow - especially when trying to pay the check. Restaurant was busy but not overly so. Didn’t seem that there were enough servers so the ones that were there seemed stretched. Server was very nice and pleasant and apologized for the delay.
The portions were extremely small and unsatisfying. The waitress recommended 2-4 dishes per person. I had 3 dishes and needed way more than that. Also the prices were so high for such tiny portions
I was seated after 10 minutes upon arrival the hostess took us to the table but a waiter never came over to take our drink or appetizer order. We were sitting at the table for a half hour waiting for them to come. The staff completely ignored us like we weren’t even there, so we picked up and left and went somewhere else to eat. And I had a child that was hungry and they
completely Ignored us. I felt very discriminated in this restaurant and we are Italian. I can show the chef a think or too how to cook real Italian food . This place is a joke and probably will close down if they keep continue treating their Customers like that. I was completely disgusted by this.
The food is fine, I think it’s understood that you’re not getting much bang for your buck because of the tapas menu, but the bad service can’t be overlooked. Our waiter disappeared endlessly, and it was a major inconvenience because, as he even said, you’ll want to order rounds of plates since they’re so small. It took half an hour to find him, ask for the check, and then receive the bill. He forgot to bring out a few orders and it took forever to get his attention to go get them. The decor is great, the food tastes good, but this was my second visit and the service has not improved.
The food was ok but a little overpriced for what we got. The drinks were also just ok, nothing to go back for.
For the 3rd time, we looked forward to Christmas Eve Feast of the 7 Fishes having been in 2014 & 2015. Sadly 2018 was not the year for fine dining at Spuntino. There was clearly a change from previous years as the restaurant was more than half empty & seemed as if the staffing was limited as well. Our next indicator was when our waiter asked if he could bring out 2 courses at a time to which I replied "As long as they don't get cold." I was surprised at this request having dined at many Michelin star & other less awarded restaurants for chef's menus & never is more than one course presented at a time. The first 2 courses were acceptable - smoked salmon bruschetta followed by lobster fritters which were more fritter & barely any lobster. The next course was presented with 2 together - 2 warm dishes, scallops and mussels which meant that one dish did get cold while we ate the other. The mussels were lackluster & the scallops were only edible while warm. Next was the shrimp ceviche made us all giggle as we tried to find shrimp in the bowl of tomatoes. I believe we each had 1-2 pieces of cut up shrimp. Squid ink pasta was next but alas there was none available & a chef came out offering a different pasta which appeared overdone upon arrival & then we tasted it - HORRIBLE! It was a soggy mess & salted to the point of tasting like someone had dumped a massive bowl of salt in the boiling water. Our last course was swordfish & for some reason that took forever to arrive. Upon arrival, the pieces were so overdone we could have used them to play hockey. At least we had an explanation as to why the swordfish took so long ... it was being cooked to a perfected hardness. We were all laughing by this time at the disaster of a meal. We couldn't wait to get out of there & continue on with our Christmas Eve celebration elsewhere. Of course paying the bill seemed to take eons to get a waiter's attention. 2 of us did the wine pairing as well & the waiter presented 2 glasses at a time.
Great service and nice ambiance ... The shrimp scampi bruschetta is amazing
Excellent service. Nice sangria but not strong. Small food portion, tapas style. Overall, the food is good. Great place for group date.
The food was way to salty and the amount of olive tampenade and capers overwhelmed everything.
We were disappointed when we were treated poorly upon our arrival by staff/manager. The matrede told the manager we didn’t have a reservation, but we did. The manager wouldn’t allow us to sit in the dining room at first and gave us the option of eating dinner at the bar. After I said again that we had a reservation on open table, then we were seated in the dining room. Learn how to treat your guests well from the start, and they will want to come back.
Everything was great once we were seated at a table. However, I had made a reservation for 8:00, and my party of 4 was not seated until 8:45. I understand it was a busy Friday night, but the hosts kept telling us our table was just being cleaned off starting at 8:20.
Second visit and I was not disappointed. Small plates so make sure you order enough but the food was terrific. Attentive service. Casual atmosphere. Definitely recommend.
We saw Spuntinos featured on the news a few weeks ago and thought we would like to go there. So when our friends called we decided we would go to Spuntino. We were not disappointed! It was everything we expected! I wish we could have tried more of the dishes but I guess we’ll just have to go back!!
Great drinks, underwhelming food. Fish was extremely dry, pasta was way overdone. The lavender lemonade was excellent but the food was a disappointment overall
Met friends who have a new baby. A great place for casual getting together with great food. The food sharing keeps it fun and relaxed. One of our favorite places for a relaxed and quality dining experience. Friendly and attentive service.
We are never disappointed when we eat at Spuntino!
This was my first time visiting Spuntino for brunch. The food was okay, a little disappointing. I will go back for dinner or cocktails not brunch.
Absolutely love this place! I would definitely recommend this place to all of my family and friends. Also, they have a great wine list!
Over priced. Portion sized varied. Some were too small others ok. Manager did stop by our table and bought us drinks which was nice. Overall value wasn’t there. I would go elsewhere for that price next time.
We made a quick decision to go because we would be in the area shopping and our experience was very good and quite satisfying as usual
I just found my new favorite place! My friends and I had a wonderful, tasty, unique brunch experience. The place is cool looking. Our waiter Ross was EXCELLENT- will be sitting at his station whenever I go!
What a pleasure seeing real Italian specialties on the menu! Everything and everyone was perfect!!
Good food and great service!
Enjoyed the food. It's Tapas style but the dishes seemed to come out a bit dis-jointed. Salad was last instead of 1st or 2nd... Pizza could have been 1st or 2nd but came out as one of last dishes.
First time in a while I had to send food back. The BRUSCHETTA was great, but the FUNGHI RISOTTO was a salt bath and was suppose to be the big highlight this month. The veg. pizza was also not great, I would describe it as one note.
The food is outstanding! I highly recommend Spuntino for a date night or just a lite bite while shopping.
Wonderful as usual
I had my niece Nicole's Birthday Brunch here and it was outstanding! From the welcome at the door, to the customer service, to the food. Nicole on site and the staff did a fantastic job. We will be back very soon!
The service was incredible from the host to the manager checking in on us to talking with our servers and getting to know how awesome they are!! I love Spuntino and so grateful to spend another occasion there with great memories and excellent food!
Always enjoy dining here. Great wine list and love going during restaurant week!
One of the best restaurants I've ever been too!Food, ambience and service were top notch! Must try the mushroom bruschetta
Everything was fantastic from the glass of wine to dessert. We had the fried artichokes, mussels, tomato and burrata salad, risotto and zeppoles. In all honesty, every single dish was delicious. Definitely coming back.
We have been here a # of times..service was always very good...not this time. Dont know why
