Spring Sushi is amazing - it is the same every time I go. I brought my partner for the first time and he absolutely loved it. Thank you for always being consistent!
We ordered three servings of beef short-ribs on three separate occasions and only one serving arrived. After using the call waiter function on the tablet, we waited more than 10-15 minutes until we ended up calling one up in person instead. This one waiter, in particular, was very nice and comforting. I believe it was the kitchen's fault for our troubles.
I always have an enjoyable time at Spring Sushi, and enjoy their large portions and value for money. The quality is good - and the service always friendly.
Tasty variety of good quality food to try. Staff was very friendly and quick but I was not rushed. Great seat by the window. Ate way too much.
Good for it's value.
Good for an all you can eat. Has a lot of variety.
Absolutely terrible customer service, the hostess was extremely rude to my friend and I.
great experience everytime
Food was excellent. Although, it was very noisy, and I would like to have another tablet to order my food. We came in a company of 4 and got 1 tablet.
Good japanese restaurant in Toronto. All you can eat menu . The lunch is cheaper than the dinner but it has less options. However, it has variety of options during the lunch. It is worth it!
This is our 4th attempt to dine here. The staff is consistently rude and unaccommodating! The food was better before...looks like right now they save money by making maki very heavy with rice
Beautiful place and excellent value for what we were given. Definitely will return again.
The restaurant was very busy and yet our food came super fast. The rolls were huge and very tasty. All items we ordered were delicious. Drinks were reasonably priced.
Great service, good quality of foods, fantastic design and restaurant atmosphere.
My only suggestion of opportunity in future is that spring sushi need to add more dessert in the buffet menu selection. Its very limited. Needs improvement . But overall we have a good time .
Great spot for a bite before the movie. Glad we made a reservation as it was really busy.
I love this restaurant, I have been meeting my kids for lunch or dinner there for quite a long time. The food was great (except for the wasabi, which was dissapointingly mild) plenty of offerings to choose from. Smaller sizes would help parties of less than 4 people (many of the rolls come in 6 or 8 pieces) ... We are still missing the lovely tiramisu and mango ice cream which were served in shot glasses (the latter was replaced by Melona bars...). The envirnoment was great, we were near the kitchen/preparation area and it was perfect for us.
A negative point: the ladies's bathroom. It was dirty, the faucets do not work properly (the water is all of the sudden cold or too hot). The bathroom is too small (it only accomodates 3 customers at the time...).
I do not recommend any restaurant to friends or family
Great AYCE at reasonable price. Nice selection of rolls and soup dishes.
Dinner is the best. Lunch does not offer that much, but dinner has a large variety and unique sushis/sashimis.
Service is always great.
Try seating by the window... the view is great.
There is no sashimi choice for lunch period all you can eat.
Not much choices from ipad that's why we have to repeat our order in the second time.
If you book the table in advance, you may have higher chance to enjoy your meal in the window side.
Called to ask when the kitchen closed and they told me around 10:30. in time and when I showed up 20 minutes later they said that they closed and I told him I just spoke to them on the phone about tonight they refused to give us a table to sit down and eat and made us leave
It is a great concept for eat all you want. You can order multiple times from an iPad. The shrimp on skewers are really tasty. Stir fry udon is good too. Sushi is good but not as good as I hope. Lots of variety. They forgot our miso soup and we didn't asked as we are heading out.
Awesome for groups.
Food was kind of stale especially the shrimp tempura. The sushi had the rice separate from the fish easily
Reasonable price, good value for all you can eat sushi. Not outstanding, but enjoyed it.
Great food with nice view! Good variety and efficient service.
Goto place for Sushi at lunch for large groups. Ala carte or all you can eat —- both are great options.
Service was fine and food good. They go with the price. Not funny that each order we made, should be reviewed and approved by a waitress on the tablet. So, why do you have tablets in place? Not useful at all.
Anyways, not a lot options in deserts and the few they have, are an overcharge in your invoice.
Good atmosphere and location, menu wasn’t too diverse. There are definitely more options around the Younge Dundas area. Also they do not take debit. Very unfortunate as a large group of my friends only use debit versus credit. Staff was extremely nice, friendly and helpful so I give it a good overall rating.
Really good I loved all of the sushi options! First time there but would definitely go again
Have always enjoyed this restaurant and it was our go to place when in the neighbourhood. This time was a just a horrible dining experience. When we arrived our plates were dirty. My mothers had dirt, mine had a hair. The tempura was soggy due to the grease. Our appetizer of soup and salad came at the end of the meal. They dropped one off 20 mins later we did not have the other one. We had to ask for it 3 times. Finally came when we were finished eating. Did not enjoy having post dinner soup. Not sure what happened but it was not the usual pleasured dinning experience we have came to expect here.
I love this place. Im not from Toronto so I cannot get to go often, but I go every time Im in Toronto.
Some food came late to our table and the desert only limited one per person and we are not a big eaters and I don't think 31.00 plus tax is worth it.
This is an all you can eat sushi bar. I came here for lunch. My experience was okay. I would attempt to get there earlier and not on the weekend as there is an extra premium applied to the cost of your meal on Fri, Sat, Sun of $1.00 for lunch. For the most part everything tasted good but not great. There were some pieces of sushi and rolls that had stale seaweed. The seaweed on these pieces were not crunchy and tended to be chewier than normal. There is also no sashimi. I probably wouldn’t come back here again for AYCE
We knew services will not be good so we expected the worst and we were right... all servers have an angry look on their faces and generally rude. But again we just ordered from the tablet and they come over and confirm the order and give us some bad attitude lol
Booked a table on Open Table. The day we turned up, the staff were all very perfunctory - I would have expected them to be polite and courteous at the least, but they weren't.
We were shown to our table, but no one assisted us in how to order the food. We had an idea of how to order from having been brought here by a friend last year, but we didn't know enough. Would have been nice to be given a tutorial, so we didn't waste time figuring out how to place the order.
There's no sashimi in the lunch menu, and this is not advertised anywhere. You come to a sushi buffet, you expect sashimi - we had to ask, and then found out it's only available for dinner. This should be clearly signposted everywhere.
The food itself was great - can't complain about it. What an assortment of sushi! We loved every bit. Truly outstanding. Yes, the AYCE is expensive, but you can do it justice because it's all so tasty.
I booked through Open Table with the specific instruction that this was for a special occasion - usually this means that the staff will check with you to provide some kind of celebratory element to your meal. No one checked or acknowledged that I'd written anything about a special occasion, so we didn't get anything to celebrate. What's the point of booking in advance this way then?
The place was way too noisy - I know it's busy, but we could hardly hear ourselves think!
It's definitely worth going back and enjoying the food.
Sushi was good, environment a bit loud...it’s Friday night at Yonge/Dundas though so I get it. I wasn’t blown away considering that dinner and a glass of wine for 2 was $90 before tip, but I’d likely go back.
Food was great. Did not find my reservation that was made on Open Table 6 hours in advance. Was told sometimes it comes late. What was the point?
