Spring brings warmth and elegance within a beautiful dining space set in the New Wing of the iconic Somerset House, in the arts and cultural heart of London. Led by acclaimed chef Skye Gyngell, food at Spring is celebrated for it"s conviviality and the joyfulness of sharing seasonal produce. Our cooking is heartfelt, wholesome, produce driven, and cooked by a team of people who are passionate about what they do and who feel truly privileged to work with beautiful ingredients. We hope to create an experience which not only sings on the plate but lingers in the memory.

Absolutely amazing experience. The food was top notch, the restaurant itself was gorgeous. Great location in Somerset House. One of my favorite dining experiences of all time.

Visited on way to national theatre ,we had the scratch menu which was ok,and the idea of using left over food is a great idea,just a pity there was not more of it.
Staff were very pleasant and professional,the restaurant is just off the bridge,and very well furnished.

Truly one of the best meals I've ever enjoyed. My three guests were all similarly impressed.

Lovely atmosphere with friendly yet focused service and Italian style ingredients at there finest it does not get better in this (very) experienced customers opinion

We had a table of 6 to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We all loved Spring including my husband who was paying the bill! The food was absolutely delicious, different but not too fussy. Everything was beautifully presented by lovely staff. They also did a little birthday pudding with candle, even though I hadn't pre-ordered one but only asked when we were at the restaurant.

The food is nice - but not amazing, the prices are high so it should be tasty. The dining room is beautiful. The staff are lovely people but service itself is haphazard. Drinks were forgotten, we were sitting for 30 minutes before our order was taken. Average.

Spring Restaurant is such A beautifully decorated restaurant
it’s fresh and clean
The food is bursting with different flavours and is beautifully cooked
The quail was succulent and tasty
The fillets steak moist and delicious
The service is perfect

We had the Scratch menu which is available 5.30 to 6.30 pm. The food was delicious and much nicer than it sounded e.g. fish trim! Pieces of white fish were fried in a tempura type batter and were absolutely delicious. Would definitely go again. Perfect for pre-theatre.

Food was generally good, with some interesting options. My review is not higher since I ordered partridge. The first partridge was uncooked in the middle, along the breast bone, and so the kitchen cooked another one - which was still uncooked. They gave me another main course, which was very good. They didn't charge me for the main course, which was good, but a restaurant like this should be able to cook the dishes on their menu properly the first time.

Beautiful surroundings and calm happy staff who could not have been more helpful or attentive.The menu was interesting and mouthwatering- I did feel it was very expensive though -as a treat this is a wonderful restaurant -and as a birthday treat is was lovely - I imagine probably just in line with LONDON prices!

We went to try the Scratch menu - which is trying to reduce waste by offering a daily early evening menu using ingredients which could be going to waste. I love the concept. The experience at Spring was perfect - beautiful space, the food we had was delicious and warm service.

Took some friends from NY here because it’s so beautiful and in a great location - I’d been before we found that everything was just fine - not exceptional - it seems to be a place for corporate dining and high end tourism
