Our waitress was warm and friendly and set the tone for a wonderful evening. We were celebrating my husband's birthday, and the restaurant provided a complimentary ice cream dessert in honor of his birthday. Drinks were generous and the food was exceptional.

Spring house is becoming our Friday night go-to. Food is always good. Service is pleasant but drinks seem to take a long time to arrive .

Very nice weekend lunch. The food was very good and the service was equally as good. We dined with 2 kids and felt very comfortable in the restaurant.

We took some elderly neighbors out for lunch. We had a very nice meal. My only complaint was that the dining room was quite cold. Our elderly friends were freezing. But the food was fantastic as always. My friend and I had a ham and cheese omelettes with mushrooms and the men had the grown-up grilled cheese which was excellent. We all enjoyed our meal immensely.

All three of us really enjoyed our dinners and I really liked my lemony
chicken francaise. Delicious! Relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Great service.

Everything was basically okay. So, overall positive. But, we were seated next to a large, noisy, distracting group. We had a hard time holding a conversation until that group left.

Family gathering for 7 for brunch. Everyone ordered the buffet which had varied choices and conatined items from appetizers to desserts. Food was very well prepared (prime rib was a bit fatty) and included the traditional breakfast fare as well as other entrees which include baked salmon, chicken piccata and chicken fingers and mac for the kids. The price is very reasonable. This is not our first time for brunch and we will be returning very soon.

After being seated it took over 10 minutes for us to be acknowledged by our waitress (and that was after she acknowledged those across from us who arrived after we did). She was confused about us both wanting soup and salad. My wife got hers both at the same while I only received soup. I had to ask for my salad. They should have been served sequentially. The Snapper Soup was thick and meaty. The salad was crisp and fresh. We were given some warm multi-grain bread “to munch on.” The soup, salad, and bread were the highlights of our meal.

My wife’s Crab au Gratin was a generous portion. My Local Jersey Scallops were sandy (nice and crunchy!) and only seared on one side. We both had the mashed potatoes and the “carrot mush” (they were so over-cooked they barely held their shape; they must have been sitting in the pot all day).

Plating was a mess. Soup was dribbled all over the saucer. Our entrees were thrown on the plate. It reminded me of a chow line in the mess hall – plop, plop, plop. Our waitress was either new or was having a bad night. We heard “Sorry about that” spoken to at least four other guests as well as us. Yes, I do want more water half way through the meal with an empty glass! The dining room was chaotic with servers, bussers, guests, and hostesses running up and down the aisle as if they were in a track meet. The busser was the exact opposite of the waitress – too quick and attempting to take plates before we were done.

The Men’s Room has a nice window with no covering, the vanity was covered with water, and the empty soap dispenser looked like it was from the dollar store. We gave the restaurant two stars because we were generous. We will not be returning.
