Pretty good food and decent wines by the glass but we had to wait over 30 minutes before we could get a waiter to come to our table. Appetizers arrived soon after we ordered but then there was a long delay until the main courses arrived. It was almost an hour and a half after we arrived. We thought we might have to have them boxed because of the restaurant's limit on meal duration! Towards the end of our meal, a couple of employees took a break at a table a short distance away from us. They were smoking. While we were dining outdoors, not something we wanted so close to us. There was also loud music with a strong beat playing while we were there. Not sure how the guests at the hotel above the restaurant handle it. We were glad to get the meal over with. As new homeowners in the area, it was our first experience at this restaurant. I don't think we'll be back anytime soon.

Great atmosphere, feels like a lot of locals. Nicely decorated and comfortable. Food was great. I had Alaskan cod with gnocchi and butternut squash, just delicious. My partner had the cioppino and loved it. If you're in Healdsburg, this is a great option. We'll be back.

Cool interior with multiple seating options. Good menu as the halibut was superb. Prawns appetizer excellent. Lemon cheesecake very good. Good cocktails albeit overpriced @ $15 for a tequila drink. Simple wine list. Overall good.

Matt, manager and Brandon, waiter were superlative!
Food was yummy and delightful.
Great wine suggestion and knowledge by Brandon.
Joaquin was assisting as well, great staff and great experience.

I had heard great things about this restaurant but the food was very substandard. Was there an ownership change? Prawn appetizer was overcooked as was the halibut. My wife enjoyed her cioppino and the lemon cheesecake was inedible. Significantly overpriced for what seemed like pre-made catering food. Truffle fries were the highlight.

Traveling and are at spoon bar our first night in town. It is not your run of the mill hotel restaurant. Delicious cocktails and meal. Our server was excellent…. She said she was new but you’d have never known it. Overall, a great evening!

Our go to place in Healdsburg when guests come into town. The staff is always welcoming, the cocktails are amazing, the food menu diverse with every dish interesting and made with fresh ingredients.

It was not bad, and the presentation was great, the portion sizes were large, and our server was great, but the food was just uninspiring. No punch to the flavors. Not the fine dining experience I expected, given the prices. We were served so quickly, we didn’t even get a chance to finish the one glass of wine we each ordered until after dinner was long done and plates taken away. We were in and out in less than an hour! I had also marked the reservation as being for my wife and my anniversary, but there was not even a mention from the staff. I didn’t expect anything special really, but a “Happy Anniversary” from the hostess would have been fitting. The other complaint was the lack of options. When researching before the meal, the menus available on line and even on Open Table showed more than what was actually available on the night we visited. No individual steak or other beef option, only a steak for two special, and no pasta dish option either. Having a beef and a pasta option are pretty standard for any high end restaurant, and especially when the menus available on line have both, but are absent when you arrive. While the duck confit was well prepared, again, it lacked any interesting flavors or something to set it apart and my wife doesn’t like duck so for her the remaining options were fish, chicken or veggie only. Was hoping for something a bit more refined, rather than a diner like experience of less than an hour with an appetizer and meal. Opted to not try one of the only three dessert options, after being underwhelmed by the rushed appetizer and dinner experience. It was okay but expensive for a quick bite, so don’t bother if you are seeking something memorable or longer than an hour. Many better options in Healdsburg.

Food and service were outstanding. Our server was very knowledgeable about the food preparation and ingredients. We had the wedge salad and halibut. The presentation was beautiful. We will definitely go back!

As locals we always look for value and special service and top quality food, Spoonbar's Sunday Nights Seafood 3 - course is an excellent value and exceptional fresh fish. This particular last weekend, the Dayboat Scallops in a bean and green been broth with a spicy aioli. The food opportunity brought us to the Sponbar but the service is exceptional, especially one individual, who goes out of her way to provide an exceptional experience with a smile. Cheri if you're lucky enough to get her as a server makes it a spectacular evening. I'm sure all the hard work is not done alone, but we can only review on the known people not the unknown.
Just know you'll have a creative menu option if you go Sunday evenings.

Very nice menu options but I would have liked a vegetarian option as well.

It was FREEZING inside.. Asked to be moved or to please pull doors shut. Had a table of 6.. They refused both and where RUDE.. So we asked for our check and left. Drinks and appetizers were great.. But too cold and too rude to spend another cent there!!!

A great place for elevated fine dining. The portions are very large, and taste amazing! Their simple prawn cocktail was fresh, soft and scrumptious, their salads were elevated and the flavor profiles were perfect. The main dishes, we had steak & Cioppino. My husband’s steak was AMAZING AF! Cooked to perfection, soft warm center, the flavor of the meat was on point, it literally melted in your mouth. The Cioppino was very good, but sadly I’ve had better. The broth flavor was so delicious, but it was a bit on the oily side, there was a greasy rim around the edge of the sauce, which was just a bit off-putting. Surprisingly, the prawns and calamari were not as succulent and tender as I was expecting from this high end of a restaurant. Don’t get me wrong though, I pretty much stuffed my face with the entire bowl (I was too full to finish it all, or I would have). I was hoping the fish would have been more tender and juicy, but some was a bit rubbery. I think our server was a bit new. He was pleasant, but not very attentive, and he forgot a couple of small things which another server got for us. It wasn’t bad service, just not brag worthy GREAT. ALL staff were friendly and accommodating. We left happy and VERY full!

Food was fabulous! Service a bit slow but wait and support staff worked hard to cover needs of all tables. Five star is for the excellent food - had sashimi appetizer, butter lettuce salad, smash burger, cioppino, brussel sprouts and (excellent) lemon cheesecake. Highly recommend all of these dishes!

Our second time in a month and the food was excellent. The portions are quite large. The smash burger is amazing and my son had the cioppino which he loved and it was loaded with seafood. Service was very efficient as usual. Will go back again for sure.

We had the pork rind appetizer and loved it! Easily shared by 2-3 people. It was well seasoned and browned to perfection but still juicy inside. As a main my husband and I bth had the Ciopinno which was delicious with shrimp, clams, mussels and calamari cooked in a delicious red sauce. It was accompanied by perfect slices of Focacia Bread. Could have shared the main and then maybe had room for the desserts... which we were too full to enjoy!

Food was good. Felt a little rushed. Very disgusted that dogs were allowed in the restaurant. We were unable to sit where we wanted to because of a dog. Having dogs in a restaurant is disgusting. I’m surprised it isn’t a health hazard. Will never go back because of the dog situation.

Had a lovely dinner with seven friends. The waiters were very safe and we were able to eat sat outside under the open sky. The food was also great as for the drinks.

This is one of our new favorites. The Right Round cocktail and Mary’s chicken dish are both really exceptional!! The halibut was a teeny bit overcooked last night (to be picky)but def going to try it again. I do wish they had more dessert options but the lemon cheesecake was wicked awesome!

Only one issue - the raw oysters were tiny!! We had a 12 tiny oysters for $48!! When they arrived it was almost a joke at how minuscule they were. Chef should not have put them on the menu at that tiny size. All other dishes were delicious and service & ambiance were perfect. Other than the oysters, we had a great time!!

I was excited to come here. Dined here years ago and it was fabulous. My salad was great!!! Focaccia bread was great. My salmon was blah. Tasteless. First one was overcooked. Sent it back. No taste at all. Steamed veggies soggy! My friends salmon was the same. No taste at all potato gnocchi was simply small baby potatoes!
Cooppino was good. Fried chicken Wednesday special was very average. Disappointing overall.

We came for the 3 course Seafood Sunday but added the Tuna Sashimi and a Gulf Prawn Cocktail. The all were excellent and the halibut was a generous portion with Saffron Threads and a simple basil pesto prepared perfectly moist and delicious.
