Food was delicious. Halibut is amazing. Burger came out undercooked but they brought a new one and comped our drinks. I’d go back tomorrow!
Food was fabulous! Service a bit slow but wait and support staff worked hard to cover needs of all tables. Five star is for the excellent food - had sashimi appetizer, butter lettuce salad, smash burger, cioppino, brussel sprouts and (excellent) lemon cheesecake. Highly recommend all of these dishes!
Great evening was my birthday and was not disappointed
Our second time in a month and the food was excellent. The portions are quite large. The smash burger is amazing and my son had the cioppino which he loved and it was loaded with seafood. Service was very efficient as usual. Will go back again for sure.
The starters were amazing… entrees we’re ok. A little over priced
We had the pork rind appetizer and loved it! Easily shared by 2-3 people. It was well seasoned and browned to perfection but still juicy inside. As a main my husband and I bth had the Ciopinno which was delicious with shrimp, clams, mussels and calamari cooked in a delicious red sauce. It was accompanied by perfect slices of Focacia Bread. Could have shared the main and then maybe had room for the desserts... which we were too full to enjoy!
The hamburger is one of the best in Sonoma
The truffle fries are crisp & perfectly cooked
Nice decor, very friendly staff, menu has a lot of variety with generous portions.
Food was good. Felt a little rushed. Very disgusted that dogs were allowed in the restaurant. We were unable to sit where we wanted to because of a dog. Having dogs in a restaurant is disgusting. I’m surprised it isn’t a health hazard. Will never go back because of the dog situation.
Amazing food and great atmosphere. I’d come back again.
Had a lovely dinner with seven friends. The waiters were very safe and we were able to eat sat outside under the open sky. The food was also great as for the drinks.
This is one of our new favorites. The Right Round cocktail and Mary’s chicken dish are both really exceptional!! The halibut was a teeny bit overcooked last night (to be picky)but def going to try it again. I do wish they had more dessert options but the lemon cheesecake was wicked awesome!
well prepared food
duck confit exceptionally good
Only one issue - the raw oysters were tiny!! We had a 12 tiny oysters for $48!! When they arrived it was almost a joke at how minuscule they were. Chef should not have put them on the menu at that tiny size. All other dishes were delicious and service & ambiance were perfect. Other than the oysters, we had a great time!!
I was excited to come here. Dined here years ago and it was fabulous. My salad was great!!! Focaccia bread was great. My salmon was blah. Tasteless. First one was overcooked. Sent it back. No taste at all. Steamed veggies soggy! My friends salmon was the same. No taste at all potato gnocchi was simply small baby potatoes!
Cooppino was good. Fried chicken Wednesday special was very average. Disappointing overall.
We came for the 3 course Seafood Sunday but added the Tuna Sashimi and a Gulf Prawn Cocktail. The all were excellent and the halibut was a generous portion with Saffron Threads and a simple basil pesto prepared perfectly moist and delicious.
The service was very good. No acknowledgement of the special occasion we were asked about on Open Table. Food was good but not memorable especially for the price
We were pleasantly surprised by how awesome the food was. And the drinks were really creative and special!!!
Seeing old friends and family
On a relatively slow night, I had the Heirloom Tomato Gazpacho Soup and roasted Brussels sprouts. The soup was visually beautiful but way too much vinegar to eat. The Brussels were flavorful but untrimmed thus tough. Beer came 15 minutes after ordering. Won’t be back.
Perfect date night spot or a place to hang with your girlfriends!
Stellar meal, with curried cauliflower steak being a standout. Great wine/bar list, plus interesting location next to a restored creek bed with plants that filter runoff from the restaurant and adjoining hotel.
Beautiful experience! We dined outside under the lights and it was lovely
Yummy and very comfortable. I had the chicken ... it was superb. Cooked to perfection and an amazingly generous portion. Our waiter was so nice!! Thank you. See you soon.
The presentation and the taste of all our dishes were fantastic. The burger and the duck especially were sooooo yummy!
Lovely meal at Spoonbar!! The ceasar salad with heirloom tomatoes was fresh and wonderful!! Halibut entree also delicious! Our server was very attentive and helpful! We will definitely be back!
Good food, but not great, Good service.....nice ambiance.
There were 2 people in our party. We both had fish and chips as an entree. The fish was hot and the fish to batter ratio was perfect. However, the batter was a bit too sweet and tasted like pastry batter. The potatoes were slightly undercooked, but seasoned well. I had heirloom tomato sald, which was nearly awful. Not seasoned at all, maybe a splash of vinegar, a few shaved carrots which were totally out of place and a couple stale store bought looking croutons. My friend had the prawns. There were 3 small prawns, adequate for an app, and decent enough for a basic shrimp cocktail. There was dessert, but I can’t seem to even remember it. Cocktails and ambiance are great, which is why I keep going back to Spoonbar, but am always disappointed in the food, particularly given the price point.
Good and service were very poor. My drink was awful , good was not prepared in a timely way. The set ice was slow.
Very cool atmosphere, fantastic food…we had a wonderful salad, Mary’s chicken, and the burger with truffle fries. It was large portions as well. Would definitely come back.
Fried chicken excellent, cioppino too tomatoish not the best.
We took advantage of the 3 course prix fixe Sunday seafood dinner—an excellent value! Each of the courses was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the baked scallops—just delicious and perfectly cooked with small potatoes, little gems lettuce and a sauce with garlic nage that tied it all together. Wonderful service as always!
Sunday night Seafood Special was delicious. Our waitstaff was attentive and assisted us with dietary needs.
The food was amazing - great portions. My wife loved the scallops and the hamburger was killer. Service was very attentive and low-key. Overall we love coming here.
Service was great, and the food and drinks were amazing!
It was lovely!!! Thank you!
We were seated on the patio, which was a cool and pleasant location, and great for people-watching. Wait staff was attentive but the bar was a little slow with drinks. Everything we ordered was delicious: Brussels sprouts, truffle fries, gazpacho, halibut and cioppino. We split entrees and had plenty of food. It was a most enjoyable dinner and evening. Be sure to check out the spoon fountain.
Great meal and excellent service! Our server was very knowledgeable and helped us choose two excellent dishes. I had a fantastic cioppino and my wife got the chicken, which we usually don't order because it's dry. This on the other hand was amazing.
We were so impressed with Spoon Bar! The food was amazing! The service was terrific-informative, helpful and very professional. Keenly hospitable. loved the ambiance too. Hope next time to be seated on the back patio.
