Very nice, quiet restaurant to spend my daughter's birthday while we arw in town. Though it had a limited draft menu (not a deal breaker), the food was exceptional. We had the bread, the Brussel sprouts and potatoes as appetizers and the salmon, the steak and the rigatoni for dinner. During our visit the ambiance was quiet and mellow where having an 8 month old granddaughter was not an issue.

Excellent food quality and taste across all the dishes we have tried here. Customer service is consistently excellent -- our server, Eric, was warm, friendly, attentive and efficient.

We spent New Year's Eve here for dinner and it was delicious! Bailey was our server and she was amazing. Quiet atmosphere due to the pandemic and less occupancy but would recommend and will definitely visit again when back in Indy!

Me and my girlfriend were the only people there that evening in the whole restaurant so it was extremely peaceful and quiet! Honestly, the ambiance was so peaceful and chill. The dishes we ordered were very good and I would definitely go there again.

I usually don’t give full reviews here but I have to say something here as it was probably the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant that seemingly has such high ratings. I understand given the circumstances in the world right now to not be super harsh but honestly, the food was just terrible and we felt super unwanted. It was a friends birthday and we chose this restaurant after seeing such great reviews and 2 of us ordered a fish entree which didn’t smell good at all, asked for a replacement fish and that came undercooked, and the birthday girl got the “award winning burger” which was burnt. We asked for replacement appetizer dishes instead and it was also just half assed and not given the same way as the first time we received it. It was just shocking to see such disregard. We even dared to ask about dessert but changed our minds as we just couldn’t take it anymore, and no dessert was even given knowing this was a bday dinner and we had such a terrible time. I will NEVER make the mistake of going there ever again.

We have dined here several times and have always had a great experience. The menu features items to fit a variety of tastes and a nice wine list accompanies the offerings. I ordered the steak tartare this last visit and it was prepared differently than I have experience before. That is one of my favorite dishes and I was disappointed in the preparation and presentation. Outside of that, the evening was great! We will return!

The mushroom starters were heavenly, and our server was very attentive. The only detractors were that the beer was served overflowing and left a pool on the table, and the lobster masala was a tad bit dry. But the flavors were wonderful and we'd definitely go back!

Enjoyed a weekend brunch, and it was THE BEST biscuits and gravy I've found in Indiana in 20 years of trying! Highly recommend it for weekend brunch.

This was our first here and it was great.
We ordered a bunch of appetizers and the bourbon selection was quite good. The charcuterie board was excellent. Lots of great cheese and meats. We also had the Brussels sprouts and mushrooms. EXCELLENT! We will definitely be coming back here. They did a fabulous job of social distancing and wore masks. Great service. Greta location.

There were very few people in the restaurant when we were there so it was, for us, pretty quiet and easy to have a conversation. Our server was terrific, very knowledgeable, and pleasant. Everything about the meal was amazing. The craft cocktails were delicious, the food was amazing. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable. We had a great meal and a great time. I would highly recommend.

Was kind of quiet due to Covid, would have been nice to see this place packed with a lively crowd, hopefully in the near future we can go back and see it that way.

Parking is readily available and is a nice place to walk to if you are in downtown.

We celebrated our anniversary and stayed at Le Meridian where Spoke & Steel is located. We had breakfast before checking out and had a great experience. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Even though the menu was limited due to COVID, everything we had was delicious, especially the mimosas made with freshly squeezed orange juice. We will definitely come back.

Food was good overall! Service was okay, it took the waitress a bit longer than expected to come to our table and take our order. We had a reservation but had a short wait, not a big deal.

Great food, awesome cocktails, and friendly service. There was a bit of a wait (even with a reservation), but they were apologetic and kept us updated on the wait time. Every thing we ordered was well prepared - delicious! The server was knowledgeable about the menu and helped us pair wine and order a great combination of small and medium plates which was the perfect amount of food for the table.

Service was outstanding. Cocktails are carefully crafted. Food was amazing though I was underwhelmed by the portions. Overall I highly recommend!!!!

M wife and I ate here on Valentines Day. We arrived at 645p and had a reservation for 715p but were seated after 730p. The cocktails and wines were excellent. My wife’s shrimp and grits were excellent. I ordered a burger and my fries were excellent. The burger was well done because of chorizo added but was very dry and not very flavorful. I love burgers and enjoy ordering them from “fancy” establishments and I was unfortunately disappointed.
We’ll be back for small plates and cocktails. Thank you!

Fantastic experience; any faults in the food were promptly and satisfactorily addressed by the chef and staff. Will definitely return and recommend.

My wife and I ordered the Valentine's Day entre' special. My wife has a shellfish allergy and they were willing to substitute one of the sides to accommodate. Very nice. I ordered the same dish without the substitution but got the substitionion for some reason anyway. I also ordered my steak to be cooked medium but it was easily medium rare, bordering on rare. Not only was it rare but grisly and barely edible for me. The chocolate rye cake dessert was ok but looked like it had been prepared the previous day and stored in the fridge. The result was super dry blob of cold cake. Yes, I know I could have sent it all back and asked for it to be done right but I didn't. My bad!!
And the thing is, this place is sandwiched between Ruth's Chris and St. Elmo's. For $200 it should have been much better.

My husband and I enjoyed a romantic Valentine's Day dinner at Spoke and Steele. We started with a sparkling rose which was offered on a special Valentine's menu. Their homemade biscuits were very good. My husband had the sea bass which had a great buttery flavor that was delicious.

For food but we did like the drinks.

Tucked inside Le Meridian hotel (the old Canterbury location.) Made reservations (even though it was lunch, but because it was Valentine's day), but it wasn't busy when we arrived. Surprisingly, it was almost empty! Nice classic but modern dining area, decorated with lots of mercury glass. Our waiter was nice and told us some of his menu favorites. Hubs had a build your own omelet, and I had the croque madame. (See pics.) Both a #yum. Sandwich was big enough to make leftovers. Fries were nicely seasoned. Food was very good, and reasonably/moderately priced (my big sandwich and fries for $14). The only thing that was a little weird was my diet coke (actually pepsi) for $3 was served as a can with a glass. I didn't drink enough to see if refills would have been separate. Now, today was the coldest bitter winter day we had in a while, and the dining room was cold. For us, dinner here would probably be more for a special occasion, but we'd be interested! #yum #ReviewsByRL on #yelp
