Food was great, service was very attentive. Have been here before and have never been disappointed, why I come back.
The food is always delicious and creative. Luigi, our server was fabulous. We went for lunch and the servings were very generous . love this place.
Consistently a wonderful meal with a great specials menu.
We come here all the time and it was the first time we were disappointed by the food. My steak was ordered medium rare came out well. It took 20 min to get a new steak so my entire family ate while I watched. Considering we come there all the time I feel like they could’ve comped my dessert at the least. My husband ordered short ribs they were just ok. Disappointed in a $300 dinner.
We had a wonderful dinner I had veal parmesan nice and crunchy around the edges and there was more food than I could eat in one sitting our waiter Luigi was great he was very attentive is just one of those Waiters that you know love's customer service
Many orders came out wrong, including one that caused an allergic reaction in my son that required us to run out and get medication. Complained to the owner who didn’t really do anything about it. We’ve been here many times before but this was the worst experience we had, and we had a large group of people and paid a lot. Will likely not come back here anymore.
We had a wonderful meal! Bread, Frutta di mare appetizer, Gorgonzola salad, veal osso bucco, Chilean sea bass, and short rib! We also indulged in dessert- my husband said the BEST tiramisu he has ever had!!! I had the Belgium chocolate mousse- very delicious!
Service was also fantastic!
Spigola has come a long way since it opened- we come much more often and have enjoyed it each time!
I've always intended to visit this place before and after I moved from the Hamilton area. It was always busy and the reviews I've heard and read were favorable. Overall, it was truly worth the wait as the experience was beyond expectations. We (wife and I) had a Valentine's reservation (highly recommend) and were promptly seated. Our waiter greeted us promptly and took our drink orders. We ordered a crab-type flatbread appetizer which was very good. Bread with roasted garlic was also very good. Even the tap water was very good which is always a good sign for me. The salad we ordered was enough to share though I could have finished it myself. My wife ordered the shrimp scampi which was very good but she felt it was heavier than expected (cream more than oil based). I ordered a veal chop special which was excellent. My only complaint was with the limited check-ins from our waiter and sticker shock on the special. Our waiter was chatting it up with another table for a while and I had to give the stare to get his attention. We waited so long that my wife ordered her cheesecake to go and I passed on dessert, altogether. I don't mind being friendly but you have to be mindful of your other guests. As for sticker shock, I know this place is a tad pricey but I didn't expect the veal chop price to be as high. This special was printed so it would be nice if the price was noted. I'm already wary specials because insiders say they're used to get rid of old inventory. Price surprises is another concern because it's happened at other places. Maybe it's just me but I like to know. Regardless, I would still recommend and definitely dine here again.
Went for Valentine’s Day. They gave my wife a long stemmed rose upon seating us. Food was terrific as well as our service. Overall great experience.
Great Food. Great Service. Great Attention to Details.
This restaurant, now hidden behind a new Wawa is easy to miss. But, if you do, you’ll miss out. The food is so fresh and very well prepared. Wait staff are efficient and professional which adds to the experience. The baretta cheese appetizer is sooo smooth. It’s divine, really. Treat yourself. It’s wort the somewhat higher price tag compared to other nearby establishments.
We liked, but did not love the food. However, we found it pricey for local / Hamilton. We find we get higher-quality / higher-quantity food at better prices in both Princeton, New Hope and even Philly. Its a bit disappointing because we would like to have good local restaurants that become a local go-to, but this was not it. We are glad we tried it, but at these prices and small portion sizes, I'm not sure when/ if we will be back.
Fantastic meal and wonderful service! I met a colleague there for dinner and we both enjoyed our salads and she ordered the swordfish dinner special which was served over tomatoes and white beans. I asked for the swordfish but no tomatoes and our server suggested my fish served over escarole and beans . Wow! it was delicious. Our server was so attentive and knowledgeable. Also, always room for a lemon sorbet served in the lemon! Love this place. Michael, the manager is the best!
Fabulous even on a busy night! Nice crowd and food was still amazing. Service never disappoints. Wine list is one of the areas best. The pasta special with filet tips was outstanding. The lobster balls were a great app as was the flat bread with spicy capicola. The bartender make a great martini. We had another exceptional night. Nat and Mike really do a great job.
Good food, service was a little slow. Granted the waitress was new.
The food is excellent. The service is superb. It isn’t cheap, but you get what you pay for.
Great restaurant. Authentic Italian menu served with care. One of my favorites.
Food was good but I feel they were
Understaffed our server who was very good but had too many tables
And could not please everyone but
She did very well under the circumstances
Wow, I can't believe they could get any better...but they did! All six of us enjoyed our meals and the service as usual was perfect. The short ribs were fork tender and tasty. The cod special was really nicely prepared. The scungili appetizer was fantastic as always. We had a fantastic evening and highly recommend Spigola.
Great food and service! I didn’t care for where we sat, small crowed table for 6. Slightly overpriced.
The food is always fantastic. Great drinks and service too!
Favorite go to for Friday happy hour. Love to sit at bar with the ‘regulars’
Never disappointed when I dine at Spigola's ! Food and service are always exceptional! Ask for Luigi...he's the best!
Overall the quality of the food does not meet the prices on the menu. Better local options exist that provide a higher quality at a better value.
The Veal Chop was fantastic. The baked oyster special was a great dish and the barramundi fish special was a hit with the Mrs. The service was as always excellent. You can't beat Spigola for fine Italian dining locally.
Have never been disappointed with the food; I always try something new or order from the specials and always pleased
What can I say another fantastic meal at Spigola! The pork chop parm is fantastic. The red sauce is real good. The wife had the veal chop special and loved the sweet potato risotto. The scungilli app was amazing and always the wine was perfect. Service as always was impeccable and Nat and Mike are great hosts!
Great. Simply great. This place is so good words cannot describe. We loved everything. Everything. So happy with this place.
So disappointed!! We are foodies and go out to dinner on a regular basis. Since we were picking up my son at Hamilton Station we looked on open table for an upscale restaurant . Spigola seemed exactly what we were looking for. The best part of the meal was our server as she was so upbeat and enthusiastic. However after numerous apologies from her for the lengthy wait for our food, once arriving, my husbands gnocchi was cold. My Berkshire pork chop which our server highly recommend was so overcooked and tough . We didn't send anything back as we had been sitting there for an hour when our food finally came and we were tired at that point. Will not be returning or recommending.
The service is always exceptional at Spigola. You can not beat the unique drinks and wine list. Bartenders are very knowledgeable and always look to provide a welcoming atmosphere.
Nice setting. Suggestion -- don't seat groups of 10-15 right next to tables of 2; it can get loud. Barrata was delicious, as always.
Last minute get together with some good friends. Excellent food and service. Delicious with excellent portions!! Will definitely return
Once again Spigola was excellent. The service and the food were perfect. The veal chop was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Spigola is really a great place to dine.
An old favorite still going strong. Nice wine list.
Service was very attentive. Bread served with fresh roasted garlic was excellent. The eggplant rollatini appetizer was very good. However, the veal parm and rigatoni bolognese we ordered was just ok. The serving size was large but the taste was bland. Additionally the cake slices served for dessert were overpriced at $9. The cake was good but the size was similar to that you would give a baby in a high chair.
I don't mind paying for quality but the quality was just not there. While the entrees were large portions, I would have rather had a smaller portion of better quality.
One of my favorite restaurants. Always delicious
Food was great , however it was a bit pricey. All entrees were over $20 including pasta entrees. Service was attentive, wine list was standard, ambiance very nice.
Great food, generous portions, and attentive service in a nice atmosphere. And better yet...they have a great wine list and bar...so you don't have to do [the annoying] BYOB.
Another great meal at Spigola as usual. Love this place, best in town. From the friendly bartenders and interesting libations to a kitchen that puts out high quality, great tasting food every day. Can't go wrong here!
always a great experience and Nate and Bobby V always make us feel welcome.
Our waiter was also superb
