Muy buen restaurante italiano siempre vengo a Miami regreso
Excellent on every point !
This is our go to restaurant in SoBe
Food is very good. My only complaint is the wine list. Lowest priced bottle of red was over $40. And on a Tuesday night, they were already out of the only red special of the week.
Reminded me of Italy. Authentic Italian experience and food
Disappointing this time around. Many enjoyable meals here over the past few years. This time it was disappointing. One of the salad apps (Ceci) was missing avocado (a listed and ket component). Two of the special entrees ranged poor to good; crab ravoli were good but the special lobster pasta had 2 bites of lobster with lots of pasta ($39 expect another bite or two). Wine markups seem to be increasing; a 5-times markup on the "weekly specials" is a tad excessive. Careful inspection of the wine list reveals generally a 4.5 - 5-time markup. Will try again because of positive history here and the really lovely setting. Hopefully, better next time.
Service and food were outstanding. Highly recommend.
Good as always
Completely disappointing experience. We’ve been dining at this establishment for over 15 years when we visit Miami and visited for a very special occasion this past week. The server was more than disruptive and needs to find a new calling - argued when the incorrect order came to the table in a very contentious manner. To the point my husband had to tell her to stop. Flat out told Me I ordered veal piccata when in fact I ordered another veal dish. Then when my husband asked for grated Parmesan, she wanted to school him in the ways of Italians and that this dish should never have cheese and insisted he tasted it first. This was very offensive as my husband is Italian. When they re-fired the order it was rushed and the veal came out rubbery and they seem to only have the mushroom stems on hand. We then had to beg for our check. A complete disappointment to an establishment we traditionally dined as a special treat on our last evening when visiting. Our last time dining there. Go to Scarpetta at the Fontainebleau instead.
Great as always
Ths best homemade pasta we have found.
Intimate inside and beautiful in garden outside. Very Italian Even our waitress was Italian!
Best homemade pasta i have ever eaten.
A very nice place. The pasta was excellent and the service was ok. The desserts were also awesome. We will be back.
Fantastic meal, Veal, crab ravioli , shrimp..all wonderful. Service was excellent!
Excelente comida italiana y un muy ñindo ambiente sibre todo en el area del porche
Very good in all aspects, food, wine list and mostly with decent prices
Great experience at SPIGA. Staff was terrific. Food was delicious. Would definitely recommend.
Fantastic Italian restaurant, great food, and attentive service. Highly recommended
Always the best food and atmosphere. We are sure to visit every time in miami
The appetizers had no real taste. The mushroom appetizer was just the stems. The "home Made" past was over cooked. Doesnt seem like there is an Italian in the kitchen
The restaurant has a lovely cosy and intimate feel. We both liked the fact that it was unpretentious and had a mix of customers from couples, groups and families. The service was outstanding and very attentive but we didn’t feel as though they were standing over us. We had seafood soup, carpaccio followed by saltimbocca and a seafood spaghetti. All were delicious and washed down with Chardonnay and Prosecco . Great value for a nice restaurant in south beach
It was simply outstanding! The best restaurant yet in SOBE.
Spiga has a great offering of homemade pastas at a reasonable price- especially for South Beach. The restaurant is very small and with the noisy spring break crowds and construction, the ambience could be better. Overall pretty good though.
Authentic Italian food. Fresh ingredients. Charming atmosphere with a patio in front and a gorgeous private patio space to the side. Next to 17 room boutique hotel. Fresh Homemade pasta and a varied menu. Outstanding.
Spiga provided us with the best meal in South Beach after eating dinners out for a week. When I couldn’t decide between two choices, the server suggested combining them to include the best of both ingredients to my great satisfaction. My partners meal was equally as satisfying. Dining in the garden added to the pleasure.
The pasta was fresh and melt in your mouth!! All our food was fresh and delicious. Service excellent atmosphere quiet and comfortable. Will definitely be back again. Pricing excellent
Excellent food, homemade pastas. Fresh seafood. The best!!
Nothing was terrible about the experience but nothing was spectacular either. We didn't know before sitting down they don't have a full bar.
It was wonderful!
Great for well prepared dishes in a casual atmosphere.
Cost point is very good.
We have been dining at this lovely restaurant every year on vacation for at least a decade and ALWAYS thoroughly enjoyed everything on the menu. This is the first time it really was not up to par. Linguini with lobster and prawns was a big disappointment. A half lobster was served in its shell and the meat was mushy. The pink sauce unremarkable. Veal piccata was untrue to the recipe. We are hoping it was just an unusual bad day in the kitchen and will give it another shot.
Fantastic food in a beautiful, romantic setting.
All the pastas and deserts are hand made in house
They have weekly specials which emphasize ingredients.
This is one of the highest quality Italian when you consider the ingredients, truly making the pasta, not being connected to a big box hotel, and the menu.
Plus for the beach it’s a great value
Really delicious! Great service. Even made us a special dish.
Great restaurant - excellent quality and experience!
My wife and I always have at least one dinner at Spiga when we visit Miami. The food is consistently excellent and the outdoor dining is phenomenal in the side courtyard. It is also and excellent value for top quality food and service.
You can easily pay a lot more for a lot less in South Beach. The food and the service are amazing. Lamb ragout with pasta made in house that day was one of the best Italian dishes I have eaten anywhere, including Italy. Unrushed, friendly, helpful service. The ambiance is charming either inside or in the courtyard or front patio people-watching on Collins Ave. The table next to us loved it so much the night before they came back again the next night. I will absolutely eat here the next time I am in SOBE.
I hit this restaurant every time I come to South Beach. It has been 15+ years. The food is superb, it is quaint and absolutely amazing service! Not a tourist trap by any means. Homemade pasta is the keyword! Ciao :)
Great find on Collins Ave. almost reminds you of home.
