SPIGA Ristorante Italiano
Spiga prides itself on serving the best pasta you can find in Miami to a diverse crowd – from famous artists, musicians and businessmen, to its closest friends and family. The pasta is handmade every morning with carefully chosen ingredients, making your dinner and dining experience a truly memorable one.
This is a real italian cucine, their pasta are really fresh and incredible , everything was delicious.
The food is marvelous, the best italian restaurant in town. I will come back for sure!!
This is a lovely restaurant and every time we’re in Miami Beach we try to get there
This place is right in South Beach where you can people watch if you sit outside. The staff was very friendly and helpful, food was quick to come out and very delicious (home made pasta). There is a great selection of wines to choose from and the menu had so many good options it was hard to pick just one.
Excellent and well prepared food. This small Italian restaurant on Collins continues to create a superior dining experience. “Francesca”, a long time professional server is gone, but the atmosphere and cooking still rewards those who dine here.
This was our second visit at this restaurant. I enjoyed the first visit a few years back. Thats why my wife and I returned while visiting Miami. We sat indoors this time as it was pretty crowded on Collins and noisy. Again, this restaurant did not disappoint and the dinner was excellent! We will return again in the future!
Service was amazing and food was perfect! Absolutely delicious!!
Delicious food and cute place
It was ok nothing to write home about food ok nothing great glad we went last time
Very small portions, food was average at best. Menu somewhat limited. Only beer and wine. Not in the best area so a lot of street noise from cars, pedestrians, etc. service was just ok, could have been better if waiter didn’t have an attitude. Mandatory tip required here but not justified - scam.
The pasta is as good as it gets!
The host was very kind and attentive. We had outdoor seating that was comfortable. The food was amazing. Highly recommend.
Absolutely amazing and fantastic staff. Extremely friendly and sweet. We showed up late twice to our reservation and they still were so nice. Highly recommend.
Great food and service. Staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Wonderful service and fantastic entrees!! A must try when in South Beach.
The food was excellent. We odered pasta and meat medalions with porchinis. The desert was also very good. The cappuccinos were mediocre but we were not charged for it.
Very nice staff but the food is definitely not high end Italian Food. It would b
We had an awesome meal at Spiga! The pasta and pork chops were delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive!!
Wonderful service. Friendly atmosphere.
This was an unexpected surprise, especially in the middle of south beach during spring break. We made a reservation and was greeted by the owner and friendly staff. My daughter, a college student, but NOT on sprig break, and I had a lovely, tasty dinner there in the garden, which was tranquil and full of lovely foliage. Including orchids growing from the trees that were all lit up.
We both had pasta, after reading reviews that it is house made daily. I enjoyed the porcini tagliatelle with a light cream, it was AMAZING.My daughter had the linguini with peas, prociutto and a light cream sauce. Equally as good. We also shared the salad with chick peas, tomatoes and tomatoes. So yummy. We finished with the tiramisu, so good.
We had leftovers, which we heated in the hotel micro wave and it was just as good as the night before.
We highly recommend this lovely jewel and will visit again on our next trip to Miami Beach.
Excellent food and service! One of our favorite picks on our vacation!
Amazing service and food! I would definitely eat here again!
Very welcoming, food was excellent and service was great! Would definitely eat here again such a great experience!!
Food was delicious!!! Service great!! Was here 2 years ago and nothing has changed will be back again!! The homemade pasta was really delicious!!
I always make it a point to stop at Spiga when in South Beach. The garden patio was awesome this time around. A bit of noisy spring breakers on the street but thats just bad timing on our part. Seriously the best spot on Collins Street? Great location, great food, unmatched staff!
We’ve eaten at Spiga for many years whenever we visit Miami Beach. The food and service has been consistently excellent. We usually sit outside on the covered dining areas, either front or sides. We stick with the pastas which are homemade. During this visit, two had the linguine with clams which they raved about, I had the fettuccine with smoked salmon in a brandy cream sauce - heavenly. The last had the rigatoni with bolognese sauce.
Unfortunately, the street scene was just that- a scene. A Sunday night but the streets were jammed and the sidewalk was just as jammed. It was noisy out there but Spiga was serene and calm. I would highly recommend Spiga for great Italian food, a classy, but not stuffy setting, and service that is friendly and efficient.
This was our best meal experience in South Beach!
The gnocchi and crab ravioli were excellent.
The Maître-d and waiter were very welcoming, helpful with suggestions and personable.
The pasta was great. The service was attentive and friendly. I would definitely return for a future visit
Really amazing seafood dishes and pasta and fantastic dessert. Would definitely come again!
Too hot in restaurant. Great food and service but needs better air flow.
They were very good. They even made us something that was not on menu my husband and I was craving. The waiter was friendly and our food came out fast and fresh.
My husband & I enjoyed having dinner at Spiga during our vacation in South Beach. It's in a great location, and you can either people watch outdoors on Collins Avenue, or have a quieter meal inside. Roberto the owner was very hospitable and the service was good. We started with the caprese salad, then had the housemade papparadelle and fettuccine dishes. All were delicious. We wish there were more reasonable offerings on the wine list, but that is typical of good restaurants in area. All in all, my husband & I recommend Spiga when looking for an upscale Italian meal in South Beach.
Amazing food and service.
Best food ever!! In a very cute location. Phenomenal service and everything was reasonably priced and fresh.
Great food and service.
My on-line search for an Italian Restaurant in South Beach led me to Spiga. The reviews and menu looked good so we booked our reservation. We were promptly seated and greeted by a young lady, our waiter (manager 15), and our bus boy. Bread was brought to our table but we had to ask our waiter for olive oil, salt and pepper, instead of the standard basket of butter pats. Most Italian restaurants know to offer the choice. While the wine list is extensive, wines by the glass are hard to come by. My wife drinks Chardonnay while I enjoy a red. Due to the limited choices, she had to settle for a Brut Blanc Champagne and I chose the Chianti Classico. Both are in the B-List of our wine preferences. My wife started with the Octopus from the “Specials” menu and I had the Zuppa di Cozze & Vongole, Mussels & Clams, white wine garlic and tomato. Both were very good. For entrees, my wife had the Cernia allo Gamberi – (Sauteed Grouper, Shrimp, lemon, Prosecco and Rosemary) while I had the Rigatoni Bolognese. Both were very tasty and served hot and cooked to order. Dessert consisted of a Limoncello for my wife and a Cappuccino for me. For the next 30 minutes, I tried in vain to get our waiter’s attention to get our check. The restaurant was very busy and he was serving tables both outdoors and indoors. We were seated at a table by the front door and saw how busy they were, but no one should have to wait that long after eating to get a check. I would ask him and he would say coming up, and then forget all about us as he continued serving others. I get it that we were a party of 2 and he was catering to the parties of 6 or more scattered around, but that should not have caused us to be overlooked as we were. It took 4 different times reminding him about our check, before he delivered it with a “thanks for being so patient” to try to appease us. The food was good, but not outstanding. Next time, other Italian Restaurants along Collins Avenue in South Beach will get our business
I am sorry to hear that. Please , can you send the number located at the top of the check to office@spigarestaurant.? Thank you very much.
Getting to Spiga from mid beach was a slow trek because of traffic and road construction. Spiga is a relatively small Italian restaurant in busy section of South Beach. The food was excellent and the fresh flavors focus including homemade pasta was our reward for the much longer than expected trip. There is limited outdoor dining but we did in the end get an outdoor table which my wife and I felt essential during the Pandemic. We enjoyed wine by the glass with some decent choices. The restaurant does not provide cocktails. All in all if you don't mind the slow traffic and hustle and bustle of downtown South Beach, the restaurant offers some good eats if not the best atmosphere.
The food and service are consistently outstanding! We love this place and recommend it highly.
Great food, great service and a lovely spot for dinner
