What a hidden gem! Last minute reservation to feed a hungry family turned out to be some of the best pasta we have ever experienced. The pappardelle was exceptional. My daughters gnocchi was also fantastic. The cloud like texture was something I’ve never experienced with gnocchi.
Highly recommend if in South Beach.
Excellent experience! The food and service were amazing. We will definitely go back.
We make sure we spend an evening at SPIGA every Miami trip! Great location, wonderful service, delicious food.
Every time we visit Spiga, we are delighted by the friendly service and bountiful, delicious dishes! The homemade pasta is divine as is the seafood! Dalia is such a wonderful server and makes us feel welcome and always had good suggestions for dinner. IWe had the snapper francaise special and the papardelle con porcini and they were divine! The Italian wine selections are lovely and unique, we chose the hard-to-find Boscarelli Montepukciano, which perfectly complemented our meal. We can’t wait to visit again soon!
Fabulous! Perfect service. Unbelievably delicious!
There were no smiles or welcoming comfort given here. They cranked us in and out. Very poor service. Food was not very good. Very bland.
pesto linguine is best. The lobster special was fantastic.
We’ve eaten at Spiga before and made a reservation for Valentines Day. We were surprised that there was no special welcome, flower on the table or mention of this romantic holiday. Looking though the menu we saw a valentines special on the last page but our server never referred to it. I ordered the shrimp and fettuccine (Fettuccine con Gamberi +asparagi)and my husband ordered the spaghetti ai fruti di mare. After having a very ordinary Luna salad, we were both disappointed with our entres. My fettuccine was wide limp noodles with pink sauce instead of the fettuccine with white wine, olive oil and diced tomatoes. My husbands seafood did not taste fresh and was overcooked.
I did ask to speak with the manager, Jose Espinal, who sent my dish back with no apology or discussion. I received a penne dish which was undercooked but by that time we were both disappointed both in the quality of food and customer service.
We thought of Spiga as special from our past visit. We do not plan to return.
Lovely setting with great service and delicious food and wine
Service was excellent. Food was a bit salty, but otherwise pretty tasty. For the price though, it should have been much better. Quaint restaurant; romantic.
Great food and service!
Amazing service and home made pasta is fantastic! Lovely courtyard tables... dreamy and romantic!
Small family operated Italian restaurant with quaint decor. Excellent, attentive service. Delicious fish and seafood dishes. A little on the expensive side for what you receive. Nice atmosphere.
The food and the service was excellent and our server was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding our wine selection!
Good prices and nice atmosphere Food was good but great but that’s pretty common except at much higher prices
We visit this restaurant every time we are in South Beach. The fresh homemade pasta is always delicious.
Great real Italian food
Very good food for a vegan restaurant. Tried many vegan restaurants in NYC and they are all terrible. So this is a plus point. Restaurant was recommended by business friend and very hyped up. We were very excited to try but food was simple. Nothing to exciting for my taste. Not a fan of truffle and that was on the menu for various dishes.
All the dishes were far from classic Italian: osso buco tough; pasta with porcini... not porcini and little flavor. Lovely place bad food
Fantastic. Cannot reccommend enough. Wine and beer only, no cocktails. If weather is nice, ask to sit in the garden.
Service was a little on the slow side. Water wasn’t refilled even after asking twice. It was for a birthday dinner and we ordered a special dessert and the person who delivered it just put it on the table without a word and an unlit candle in it. Not so special!!!
The service was good, the food more than amazing.
I had the seafood risotto and my boyfriend got the grilled calamari as appetizer and tuna steak with pasta.
He asked rear, it was overcooked but tasty, we mentioned but the waitress, seemed not to care.
If was not for the waitress we got, I definitely would give a 5 stars, she was not a happy camper, I asked for cheese above my risotto and she put me black pepper, when I said “excuse me I asked for cheese”, she replied “oh yes, true!” than she added the cheese and not even excused herself, again with a unhappy face...
Overall the place is amazing, just hope you don’t get her also, as your waitress!!!
The salad was over dressed and the mains were very mediocre at best. I was hoping for more. :(
Really good quality Italian food. Homemade pasta and meatballs. Loved it
The food was absolutely delicious. Not one complaint about the food amongst the six of us. The staff and the owner couldn’t of been more friendly and pleasant. Overall just a great dining experience.
The restaurant was an authentic Italian. We enjoyed our food, chicken dishes, fish and pasta. We shared the mixed dessert for 2 but it would be fine for a taster for 3 or 4 people. The staff were friendly and efficient. We will definitely return.
Spiga has been one of my favorite restaurants in South Beach over the decades I’ve visited. The menu remains comprehensive, the food well prepared, service efficient and atmosphere serene.
Beautiful outdoor seating. Attentive servers and simple italian food. The gnocchis were melt in your mouth delicious and the liguini with clams was a little tough, could have used more garlic/sauce and additional clams. Overall good value.
Great Food!, Lovely!
First know that Spiga only serves beer & wine, but wine menu was decent. We ate at the side outdoor patio- nice, quiet, & had heaters. Veal piccata & funghi ok, asked for side of spaghetti which was tasteless & virtually no sauce just fresh hydroponic tomatoes. Be sure to ask for a salt shaker. Grilled octopus app was best part of meal.
Amazing! Highly recommended and super reasonable.
Been coming to this restaurant in South Beach for almost 20 years. It never disappoints.
AmaZing food. Great experience!
