now one of my regular spots when in GCS area. terrific in every way
The food was delicious. The service courteous and meticulous but a little slow. Allow sufficient time.
Food was too spicy. May have ordered wrong dishes. Liked the Indian more than the Chinese dishes we ate. Would like to try again. Was crowded. Make reservations.
I enjoyed unique Indian-Chinese fusion cuisine. Lollipop chicken appetizer is a must. The Sichuan chicken was quite tasty.
Lifelong New Yorker, the Worst experience ever. So rude, the entire experience was awful.
Food was average.
As a group of six friends we went to Spice Symphony on our last night of our New York trip. We weren’t disappointed. The food was amazing and the staff were very attentive. They were very busy as it was Valentines night so we had to wait a little while for our booked table. But the atmosphere was buzzing so it was definitely work the wait. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
SANTOSH was my waiter. Ask for him, a wonderful gentleman who was my waiter.
I was in New York for business, and, of course, being at a restaurant by oneself, especially on Valentine’s Day, can be a little intimidating. But SANTOSH was a true gentleman, and made me feel so welcomed, and so appreciated. His knowledge of his restaurants cuisine was magnificent.
I have traveled around the world, and I have never had better Indian cuisine, even in India then what was served last night.
The combination of the environment, the location, The warmth of this gentleman, and incredible cuisine made it forever special, super special evening. I was faced timing with my husband, which made me feel like he was there with me. We are both traveled around the world and he could not believe how beautiful the dishes looked.
I highly recommend this restaurant as one of the best in the city.
Thank you SANTOSH and chef of SPICE SYMPHONY, for making my Valentines dinner a great pleasure even when my husband was thousands of miles away!
I have been raving to my husband this evening when I have just returned home from business in New York. When we are back in New York, we will return.
Acoustic trauma, high-decibel noise, too many customers in a small room,
Food was good but not great. Service was outstanding and all servers were helpful and friendly.
Wonderful restaurant! Will definately go back. The food was flavorful and the service the best we’ve had in New York. Many delightful menu choices.
I often choose Spice Symphony for MealPal because it is close to my work place and it is a great value.. You get small Samosa, Rice, Naan, Raita, 2 different chutneys, 1 Veg and your choice of either another Veg or a Chicken. I decided to try for a lunch with some collegues recently and was pleasantly surprised that the menu also included Chinese and Indian Chinese dishes. We ordered 2 appetizers unfortunately I don't remember the exact names, but one was cauliflower with a red, spicy glaze which was delicious. I think it was from the Indo Chinese menu. The other was Shrimp which was also good. I got the Lunch Special Thali which had about 6 different small servings - Chickpeas, Spinach & Potato, Lentil, Paneer, and maybe something else. It also included Rice, Naan and a crispy cracker thing, some pickle and some green chutney. It would have been quite enough without the appetizers. Kulfi was also included and was delicious. There was a Vegan selection on the menu in addition to Vegetarian. It was small, but that was the first time I've seen that. Our server was Aldi and he was very helpful in recommending signature dish and ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall a great lunch.. Trying to come up with an excuse to go back as I type this...
I am not a big fan of Indian food but my friend wanted vegetarian options. Overall the food did have great flavor and I had one of the best Mango Lasee ever. Very good stuff!
Fabulous flavors! Attentive wait-staff, especially Ninad’s suggestions. We’re taking friends back there because it’s attractive, relatively quiet, and good prices for such a satisfying meal. Loved shrimp moilie and avacado chicken and Rasmalie desert. Good location for midtown walkers or public transportation.
This restaurant has a really nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The only cons that I could find is that it’s a little overpriced for its portions size - entrees are very small, appetizers really small. But overall, it was a really nice place!
Great food but the service was incredibly intrusive. Well intentioned but we were interrupted more than 30 times over the course of the meal. It became almost laughable. Will not go back for that reason.
Spice Symphony is a lovely restaurant with fine service and terrific food. I will definitely recommend to anyone going to Manhattan and will go there whenever I'm in New York.
Me and my mother had a great experience at this restaurant. The waiters were all extremely kind and the overall service was great. The only downside is that the food is not really that spicy, hence the 4 stars on it, but this could be a plus if you are dining with elders or people who do not enjoy spicy food but still want to give Indian cuisine a try!
I definitely recommend dining here.
Fantastic atmosphere. The service was incredible. The server was full of suggestions and they all paid off to one great meal.
The Maitre’ d was welcoming and brought us to a great table, the staff was attentive and even brought some complimentary appetizers, that were tasty. The dishes were excellent and the ambiance exceptional. Special thanks to Aldi, who gave us some history of the restaurant and let us know they offer Indian/Asian dishes as well. It was my birthday and they brought a nice desert with candle and greeting. An excellent meal and experience and we will be back!
