met clients for lunch. we each had a different thali - all were pretty good. Not stuffed but not hungry either. Decent value. Service was ok.

Employees were hospitable and accommodating. Good choice of wines (and other specialty drinks). The food was absolutely delicious. Try the butternut squash soup. It was my appetizer; I shared it with my dining companions, and they ordered their own! We packed a couple of orders to bring home as well - that good! The Chicken Vindaloo was superb - appropriately tender and deliciously spicy! I look forward to returning.

My son and I were meeting near grand central for a local dinner and found this gem. We sat at the bar for an early dinner and had chicken tika masalla. Food was wonderful, staff were great and they had happy hour at the bar. Would definately go back.

Food was outstanding. Second time I had Indian food and was very impressed. My wife had lamb vindaloo, and I had the goat. Can't wait to go back

While attached to a hotel, this is no hotel resturant -- the service was excellent, with helpful comments about the dishes (and the spice level) -- the food quite good (tempura spinach -- who would have thought it?). Definitely on our cycle -- we will be back.

Great food and drinks but the service was not good. Snooty waiter forgot things we ordered and we had to wait and beg for our bill.

Very pleased with my meal here. The hot and sour soup was the best I've had, and everything was up to the same standard. Very happy.

My daughter and I saw positive reviews and thought the Indian - Chinese menu looked interesting. We booked through Open Table and we arrived 1/2 hr early and they still seated us quickly. Not many people there at 6pm but was full when we left. Loved the tikki masala, garlic naan and general pso's chicken! The service was great and friendly. I would definitely recommend!

Savory and scrumptious! A symphony of flavors! From beginning to end, the service, food and experience were worth the trip from Connecticut! They even surprised us at the end of our fabulous meal with a custard cake to celebrate our son's birthday! I have recommended Spice Symphony to my friends and am confident that from casual chic to sophisticated diner, all will love their experience as we did here!

Ok but by no means wonderful. Service was fine; we were asked several times if things were Ok. But the shrimp was overcooked. Extensive menu, Indian vegetarian and tandoori and Chinese.

My friends and I had an AMAZINGG experience here! The staff was really nice, considerate, and welcoming. While we were waiting for our food, we were welcomed with a complimentary appetizer from the chef. On top of that, the food we ordered was amazing and as we were leaving, everyone took the effort to personally say goodbye. One of my favorite restaurants in NYC!

First impression was not good as the beginner hostess told us to be seated to wait, even though we arrived on time for reservation. But 5 mins later we heard the boss explaining to her that reservations didn't wait, only walk ins. So he then seated us promptly - good since we were about to go somewhere else. All was great thereafter, and the food delicious as always. And lots of it.

We are faily sophisticated eaters so bear this in mind. Service was excellent and it was a pleasant place to be. The food was good. Had aloo gobi and fish. Both solid. A little on the pricy side but that is manhattan. Did not have the multiple layers of taste present in the very best indian food. But still good.

This experience was delightful. The white tablecloth atmosphere was pleasant but unpretentious and the food was delicious, well spiced and authentic. The dishes were not too hot for the ‘American pallet’ but you indeed could discern their complexity. The service was pleasant ma sun-rushed. We will definitely return. Thank you

Good solid Indian food, polite service. Very tasty chutney, fresh katchumber salad, chicken tikka just the right degree of spice. Complimentary amuse bouche was cold and unidentifiable piece of fried something. Better to not serve anything at all, or try for something a little better.

The Spice Symphony is a wonderful place for a special occasion ( such as our 50th wedding anniversary) or a nice evening out for Indian food. It is close to the Untied Nations with a mixed crowd and clearly a number of Indian descent. The ice cream desert was the most interesting we have had. The service was relaxed yet very good. We would highly recommend it.
