Great food and attentive service.
Had a lovely dinner with my husband while in NY for a short vacation. Food was flavorful, excellently prepared and perfectly spiced. The portions were generous, so leftovers were a great lunch the next day.
Service was professional and attentive but not intrusive. Tasteful decor. Relaxing quiet atmosphere. Will definitely go again when we next visit New York.
Attentive service; excellent food, bold flavors...something I like and expect for Indian cuisine. Wide variety of dishes to choose from and I think a real value for a midtown restaurant!
I choose this restaurant based on open table ratings, but it was overpriced. Even food looks good, I could eat for half of price and with better taste in Chinatown (and I understand it is located in 50th street, but still). The staff was in general nice, but one of the supervisors was pretty rude. I felt the pressure to ask for more food, even when I don’t needed.
The only thing I loved in this place were the rolls. I really enjoyed them, but again it was really just 2 small rolls.
This is my third time in New York and this place is not going to be in my to do list.
This Indian Chinese restaurant rivals the tastes of Indian cuisine available in the East. I haven’t had better Indian in the United States. It is a must meal if you like authentic Indian!
Amazing food and service! Best Indian food I’ve ever had. If you love food, spices and great service, please go!!!
Amazing blend of flavors and terrific service. I highly recommend and will be back!
Excellent food and service. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious.
Our server was wonderful and we loved the food!
Chicken tikka masala
Really enjoyed the experience - the service and food were both very good. Very accomodating to a vegan diner in our party. Will go back!
The service and the food was amazing. Had a surprise birthday lunch for a coworker and the service was impressive. They sang happy birthday and helped us serve cake.
Perfect place to meet a friend for our first indoor lunch of the pandemic. The food as always was delicious and the service superb. Thank you for the impeccable hospitality during such a fraught era 🙏
Nice spot for indian food on the east side of midtown, a bit more cozy than most dining in the area
Great experience! Delicious food!
One of the BEST Indian restaurants ever!
We went there to celebrate a friend's birthday and the restaurant did not disappoint. The place is very elegant, CLEAN and classy. I appreciate that all covid-19 safety precautions were followed - social distancing, temperature checking, face masks, etc.
Service is FABULOUS. They were very attentive, friendly +and accommodating of our questions and request (have a desert with candle for the birthday girl, promptly gave us take out bags and boxes when needed, promptly refilled our water).
And the food, THE FOOD is delicious. I cannot stress it any further that it was one of the most delicious and authentic Indian food that we have. Everything was just in the right amount and we did not feel disgusted at all. I definitely recommend their MANGO LASI if you want something refreshing and invigorating.
All of us (party of 6) were very impressed and happy with our decision and we would definitely come again. We all had a great time. 10/10 would recommend and come again.
Incredibly attentive staff, delicious food and cute spot. The staff elevated the delicious food to complete the excellent dining experience.
Food was delicious and service was good. Only issue is the intense staring while you eat.
Spice Symphony has a great ambiance and food is always delicious. They have a great team and an attentive staff. It's great for groups and for date nights. I love their extensive menu and wine selection.
Food is excellent
Tandoori wings were excellent
Chicken Tikka Masala was excellent
Nan was excellent
Drinks were ridiculously awesome
Location is excellent
Service was excellent
In-person Service was lousy because the restaurant and the servers are only focused on the takeout business.
Amazing service and food
Friendly staff made us feel welcome. COVID safe and food was excellent.
Nisar and the food were both excellent as always.
Had the Chicken tikka masala for the first time there and it was delicious. Our waiter, an older man, was so sweet to us. Service was fantastic. Overall a great experience!
Nasar was amazing. Service was perfect and the food was delicious!
Was looking forward to our meal given the great reviews. The restaurant is very nice but all the food was disappointing and lacking flavor. The lamb Rogan Josh had a strong tomato sauce look and taste—very different than any version I ever had. The shrimp Malisee was good but the sauce was very lacking in flavor. I was expecting much more especially since almost every diner was Indian. Had expected a more authentic spice flavor especially given the name of the restaurant. Bummer. Was hoping for a great Indian meal.
A good place! Variety of Indian food, good options for non meat eaters (which was especially important to us). Polite and caring Indian staff, which together create a unique atmosphere of distinctive India. Special thanks to the manager named Nisar. We tried everything he recommended and everything turned out to be amazingly tasty!
Wonderful ambience and outstanding food and service!
The food was good - we sat outside - a little chilly. They have heaters but they are very high & you can’t feel the effects too well.
Food was outstanding, as was the service. Spice Symphony is a restaurant with an elegant feel, yet at the same time casual and relaxing. The host and servers made everyone feel welcome.
Wonderful food! Would 100% recommend
Best Indian food I’ve ever had. Great service, too.
With the Pandemic regulations the restaurant struggles to keep up its reservations, while food is amazingly great
The food makes the struggle worth it.
While they didn't seat us till 15 mins after the scheduled reservation. We ordered right away when we arrived at 9:15pm.
They were courteous and kept us busy with some free appetizers, they gave us our food as to go, just before they had to close down.
I was there during the summer around July this year and the food was amazing. Last night me and my friends thought this would be the perfect place for Diwali dinner. We made reservation at 8:15 because opentable didn’t have the correct timing for availability due to Covid we were sat at our table around 8:45. Which I am completely ok with due to the circumstances. It took about 15min to get a menu. We ordered our meal right way since the restaurant closes at 10pm. We got half of our order at 9:45pm and the other half we had to remind our server the missing dishes. The worst dish last night was the vegetable Manchurian with gravy, I had this before at their place and it was very good but last night everything seemed disorganized. I was very disappointed with their service and quality of food. Vegetable Manchurian was soggy and gravy was watery lasted like they just poured sour cream on the Manchurian balls. In my opinion I don’t think any fine dining should use Covid as an excuse for bad food.
Great food and great service. Their check were reassuring at this time of pandemic.
This restaurant was very busy with outdoor as well as indoor dining. The service was a little slow as I think they were overwhelmed with all the diners.
A very good blend on Chinese and Indian food. Would definitely patronize again.
Delicious food. Attentive service. Sole complaint is that they are cheap with their scotch. I highly recommend it. The Indian Chinese fusion is innovative and tasty.
