Super nice staff. They had us out in perfect time for our 7 pm Broadway show. They even sang happy birthday with a candle in a dessert. The food was excellent. I asked for paneer tiki masala and it was not on the menu, but they made it for me!
Fantastic first time to have Indian Food!!! Great place, amazing and well cooked food!!!
We had a great time!
Love the half bottle of Barbaresco. Perfect for the solo diner.
Great place great atention better Food!!!
Perfect food every time, and fantastic staff that never disappoints.
A gem! Delicious authentic food and great service. We enjoyed all of our waiter’s (Nisar) recommendations
Bad experience overall. I booked table for four on special occasion of my husband’s 40th birthday. For that I put request online and also called and requested to manager that plz provide us corner tables with sofa. I don’t want chairs and table in the middle of the way. He said yes Mam I will put your request for your special occasion, don’t worry !
After reaching there he said sorry we can’t give you the requested table as we are having two big parties of 6 & 12 people coming over. And showed us the chair-table right next to the washroom !!! Now can you imaging how pathetically professional they are ! Ridiculous, if they want to do their business depending on the number of people than just say we can’t reserve a table sorry !! And I would have right away moved my reservation to some other restaurant in NYC. This was highly disappointing after driving 1.5 hrs to NYC to celebrate you special occasion, your event begins right next from washroom table. Also ambiance wasn’t that great. Tiny request we made to manager to remove candle from our table as it was useless decor on such a tight space on tiny table of four with lot many food and he stubbornly didn’t remove it !!! Food was supremely mild like a baby food, all blend !! And after dinner, my husband paid the check while I took my daughter to restroom before 1.5 hrs drive back home. Mr. manager came again and said bluntly “plz empty the table soon as we have many other people arrived”. I have been to all the Micheline starred restaurant of NYC and few other non elite as well but never ever had such ridiculous experience. We all didn’t had a feeling of celebrating the special day!! It just ruined our evening, our gasoline, our time and our money !!! I would never ever ever recommend this restaurant even for take out food. I have warned my friends and family in Tri-State about this bad place. Please do not go else they will make sure to ruin your special occasion. All they do is bad hospitality and bad business
Indo Chineese food that reminds you of the best food in Mumbai.
Picked just based on good reviews.did not disappoint.. Service was very good, prices reasonable, food quite tasty
This is one of the best Indian restaurants we have dined at in the US. The food is fresh and plentiful. The flavors blend together perfectly
Service was excellent and the waiter extremely helpful in helping us choose from the extensive menu. The menu is mostly Indian but also includes Indo-Chinese selections
Food was great and the service was attentive. My one small issue is they never asked if we wanted a second cocktail.
Always look forward to dining at Spice Symphony on 50th St. All around relaxing and carefree environment. Kind service, great food and chill ambience. Worth considering before or after (reopened!) Broadway shows excursions. Happy to see their nice bar is reopened.
We LOVED Spice Symphony and can’t wait to go back!
Fun servers who really understand the manu
The food was absolutely delicious!
Good middle of the road Indian place for food and service.
The food was delicious! Just like the Indian Chinese I get in bombay!! My servicer & the overall service was also soooo great!! Def will be going back!!
This was the worst ever experience in Manhattan. I arrived at the booking time and there was no host or waiter to receive customers. When I managed to speak to staff they didn’t care that I had a booking and asked me to wait. There were several people with the same situation. The staff was very rude handling the situation.
They showed zero empathy and zero ability to help. Patrons that were seated complained that their orders were delayed
After 30 minutes I left. They didn’t care.
We were a big group and ordered a variety of dishes. Nearly all of them were excellent and even the ones we didn't love were still pretty tasty. Service was a little spotty - had to ask for some things a couple of times before they arrived - but that may have had more to do with the fact that we were a group of 14 and we ordered a lot of food and drink. The waitstaff was very friendly and pleasant.
Great Indian food in Manhattan. As a Brit living in NJ I’ve missed decent currys and this place is awesome. The staff and service are fantastic too. Lamb Rogan Josh and Goan Fish Curry + Garlic Naan….you won’t be disappointed!
Moderately ok dishes offered at exorbitant prices.
My Experience at Spice Symphony was amazing ! The service was excellent and the food was delicious!!! For appetizer I had the garlic naan and the chicken lollipops and for dinner I special ordered General Tso shrimp. The portions are very generous and the food is flavorful. It feels like everything was made with love. I will definitely be returning.
The food was outstanding and the service impeccable. Thank you for a lovely evening!
The tandoori shrimp is the best! Always have a great meal here, the staff is so friendly, and the food is delicious!
We selected starters and entrees from the Indian-Chinese menu, which incorporates Indian spices with Chinese ingredients. Very tasty. Recommend the Salt and Pepper Shrimp. All dishes come with a pretty serious amount of heat, so be careful if you order extra spicy. My main issue is with the lighting, which is so low it’s cave-like. Turn up the lights, so we can see your food and our companions!
Good food, authentic flavours, lots of menu options, prompt and friendly service. Would go back.
The food was delicious and the service was great.
Fabulous food and service with incredible spices a no flvors from start to finish!
Loved our meal at Spice Symphony! The food was delicious and the service was spectacular. All of our dishes were so good we couldn’t pick a favorite!
The food reminded us of authentic taste of India. The indo Chinese food we tried were the best I have had - gobhi manchurian and monchow soup were incredible
Nisar was a very good server
Excellent service ! Delicious food! Awesome owner:)
Best Indian food anywhere! Food was over-the-top delicious, service friendly and helpful and prices very reasonable. We had Chicken Tikka Masala, Dhaniwal Korma (lamb) and Garlic Naan. Soooo good! We eat here whenever we are in New York, and it is always our most delicious and memorable meal.
The only Indian restaurant with authentic food! so so good! highly recommend it if you want a taste of home!
I have been coming to this restaurant for 5+ years. This is the first time I was disappointed in the dish I ordered, I am hoping that things will get better as we get out of covid, otherwise I would have to find another Indian restaurant that I can go to when visiting the city!!!
Spice Symphony is a longtime favorite, we frequent the Murray Hill location and will do the same with the 50th Street locale. A wonderful dinner with such fragrant spices and tastes, as well as impeccable service. It's good to be back to dining out!
Nisor was able to listen to our spice preferences and we thought it was perfect. Restaurants talk a lot about how they are cleaning but this is over the top clean. Loved that. Loved the entire experience.
We ordered indo Chinese. It was good not great. The restaurant was very noisy maybe just a busy day. Service was okay.
