My date and I showed up for dinner, per our reservation, only to find the restaurant closed. Open Table screwed up.

If I owned the place I would seriously consider replacing whoever's in charge of wine. To have a restaurant that does not carry Rose' wine in 2017 is amazing. Clearly he does not know that Rose is is the fastest growing Market of wine in the world. Up some 60% this last year in sales. The server charged my credit card about $30 more than it should have been ( maybe someone else's bill), that finally got corrected but if I'd been in a hurry I probably would not have noticed. Servers were very friendly and certainly didn't appear to be overworked to make such an amateur mistake.

We drove down from Gainesville for Mother's Day Brunch, not knowing anything about the restaurant other then it had tapas and was located near where we were going later in the day. Wow! Were we pleasantly surprised! The food choices were plentiful and the brunch menu was amazing. We had the best service we've had anywhere with Grace looking out for us. As far as I am concerned, this is the place to go when we are in the area. Thank you so much for the excellent experience and super service. We'll be back.

Went here on a sat night at 8:45 pm. Just not up to par. House chips and flat bread were good. Papas Bravas were not good at all. Server didn't remember to bring my drink order till we were more than half way through my meal. My husband's beer took 30 minutes to show up. It was not a busy night. The music artist was very good - but he played 4 songs and left for the night (performance was no more than 15-20 mins!). Over all, quite a disappointment!

Great food! Ate at 4pm, and may have been the server's only table. I had to go to the kitchen to get him. But he was very nice and polite.

Service and food excellent. We were visiting Atlanta and spotted the restaurant while shopping and decided to check it out. Glad we did. Michelle our server was exceptional, made several food and drink recommendations. You must try the Bang Bang Shrimp.....excellent. Would you consider opening one in the Grayton Beach Florida area!

I went to Spice for the first time and it was my birthday. Me and my friends really enjoyed ourselves. Our waiter Al made this occasion very very very special. I didn't even have to look at the menu because Al was in tune with my needs by making great selections. We will definitely be back.

We went to Spice for an early dinner on New Year's Eve. Had one of the specials which was tenderloin. It was excellent along with wine and crime brûlée for dessert. Price was reasonable and enjoyed the live quiet Jazz in the background. Service was attentive.
We had been once before and enjoyed the tapas menu.
Would recommend this restaurant.

My waiter was so kind as I was at the beginning of an upper respiratory nightmare! He kindly brought me soup (broth only!). My mom loved the flat breads as well. Wished I could rave on how good the food tasted, but my tastebuds were on strike. I have to go by historical flavours ... it was great!

The food was great, though the wine selection was a little limited. It was a quiet night there, so service was quick, and the price points were very good. It made for a good date night, and I would go back again.

For the price, the amount of food was pitiful. Service was lackluster at best, though there only seem to be two servers on shift. No drink refills offered. Nearly $10 for three pieces of fried cheese is a bit appalling. The chips were $6, but it seems they use the bare minimum of toppings on them.

I know it's tapas and therefore small plates, but the sizes are still ridiculous compared to the prices. The food tasted absolutely amazing though, so if you're willing to pay for several of each dish, it's worth it.

We went on a Saturday night. Restaurant was not crowded ( had reservations for 7:00P ). Service was excellent. Waitress was attentive without being intrusive. Had two tapas and a pizza. All were quite good and the tapas were of a size to share. Only complaint was the room could have been a little warmer.

The food was mostly good, and an excellent value for the price, but the service could have been better. Perhaps this was due to the fact that we ate there on Election Day and everyone was tense over election results.... so I'd be willing to try it again.

Front desk clerk at my hotel recommended this restaurant. Checked ratings on OpenTable and Yelp and restaurant got mostly positive ratings.

Arrived on time for my reservation and was seated promptly. Restaurant was nearly empty on a Thursday night with 3 tables of diners and a few guests at the bar watching Thursday night NFL game. It took a while for my server to come greet me. Ordered a draft beer and it took over 10 minutes to have it delivered from the bar. I waited for another 10 minutes and my server finally came back to take my food order. The restaurant advertises its brick oven pizza so I ordered the the daily special of a Caprese pizza with tomato sauce, sliced tomato, mozzarella, basil, and balsamic reduction. The pizza arrived with undercooked flat crust, skimpy amount of sauce, a few small sliced tomatoes, and 6-8 basil leaves. Without question, this was one of the worst pizzas I have had in a quite a while. I waited for another 15-20 minutes after finishing my food until my server came back for me for me to pay. I cannot imagine the service and food that would be delivered to customers on a really busy evening.

A friend and I had dinner here. She had shrimp in a white wine sauce with pasta, and I had the chicken paella, and both were quite good. They come to the table in gorgeous bowls; portions were a good size. We would have appreciated being offered more bread. Since the main dishes didn't include a salad or side, it felt like there should be a little something more than the tiny wedges of (delicious) garlicky bread. That did, however, mean that we had room for dessert. We split a brownie sundae. I would rate it as average, but it was a nice finish to the meal. Our server was personable, but he didn't really seem to be paying a lot of attention. He had a helper (or maybe a trainee?) who seemed somewhat baffled to be there. Maybe a bit more work on their training for servers would be in order. Also, the noise level is deafening, and we were there quite early (5:30). Conversation was difficult, and I can just imagine it got worse as the night went on. Live music is a nice plus, if you you don't care to/can't talk to your companion.

Spice puts in a lot of effort to make their restaurant great. Live music is a plus! We started out with the cheese plate that included a caramel cheese - yum!!! However, I had the seared scallops that lacked flavor overall. I also noticed how warm it was inside (maybe the air conditioner was broken??)

We had been wanting to try this place for awhile - we love tapas and this is right around the corner from us. I will start by saying the food we had was not good. Everything tasted like it came from Sam's; definitely not something made in their own kitchen. The tzatziki sauce with our pita had a gelatinous quality to it and no flavor to speak of. The mussels were very overcooked and fishy tasting. The grilled chicken-pineapple slider was OK, but the chicken was more like something McDonalds would have served. Having said all of that, our waiter was attentive and very nice. It wasn't his fault the food was bad and we certainly didn't take it out on him. The owner came by to great us shortly after we sat down (and before we had ordered) and talked about all of this other restaurants and that he didn't get to visit this one that often (clearly!) Having said all of that, they do have a pretty solid wine list but the jewel of the night was the live music. They had 2 guys playing guitar and singing 70s-80s music that were really really good. We will definitely go back for drinks and live music, and may even give the pizza a shot to see if the food can redeem itself. Otherwise, I will settle for just sitting in the bar.

The service was abysmal. Our waiter, Garrett, seemed to be on some sort of substance and would disappear for 15 minutes at a time only to fill one water glass at our table then walk away and disappear again. During most of the 90 minutes we were there the only staff visible on the floor was the one poor hostess who was also clearing tables and running food. We gave up on our server after a 25+ minute disappearance and had a bartender get our check for us.

The food was pretty horrible, too. Evertything was greasy and bland.

We will not be returning here and suggest others avoid at all costs.
