great experience! would go again!
We had a lovely time. I so enjoyed the seared tuna and my husband equally enjoyed the salmon. We will visit again
Consistently fresh. delicious food served by friendly staff. We keep going back again and again!
Great happy hour drinks and appetizers. Early Valentine's day with my boyfriend. We will be back.
We went to celebrate a birthday which I had notified them off, however our server didn’t acknowledge that at all. Our appetizers came out way before our drinks did, and the waiter was horrible. She did not come to ask once if we wanted more drinks, water or how the food was. She seemed more busy on her phone than service. She brought out entrees and started to hand out the plates with no room on table as they didn’t clean up after appetizer. When we asked if she can first clean up before dishes she gave us a look and took away two plates and continued serving the entree. Overall the food was average nothing special and wouldn’t want to go back again as the service was more than horrible. They charged us automatic 20 percent as it was a part of 7 but I would have left her with less than 10 percent for her service. Every time we needed something had to call her and she would pull her head out of her phone.
Would not return their for dinner again!
First time a Spice 28 was during restaurant week. Party arrived early for happy hour and I must say the Philly Love is the best drink on the menu! Place is small but worth the visit. I will go back again!
I loved the service and food , the servers were EXCELLENT, the drinks and food were awesome. I would definitely go back and enjoy myself.
The service was super, SUPER, slow. Everyone was very nice, but the service was almost unacceptably slow. The food was delicious.
The first time In September had a great experience all around. However, this time the food wasn’t as good. Our party of 3 all got sick about a half hour after leaving. Had to cancel after dinner plans and go straight home. Very disappointed.
Seated quickly, great service, food was AMAZING portion size more than enough to share. Please visit! Ask for the curry sauce!
Good food, loved the drunken noodle, excellent desserts and interesting ambience.
Enjoyed the selections for Restaurant Weeks! Great value, tasty food. Cocktails on point. Little noisy but hey it’s the City! Their Staff was most attentive. Would go back for a late dinner, it was way to crowded for 7pm seating.
They have the sweetest workers ever there! They really take care of the customers!! Tasty food and clean building. Great place to try and frequent.
I went with my friend for restaurant week and it was an overall great experience. We had lots of choices and each course was equally as delicious as the next. The waiters/waitresses were attentive even with a packed room. I will definitely return.
Food was fabulous. Waitress was rude and a head case. Luckily bus boy stepped up and took care of us.
The tuna dumpling is good. The overall Chinese food here is ok. The service is good.
Food was great but very loud inside had to yell over to talk to someone
All the food has lots of msg. We left without ordering
The service was not good, my friend and I ended up getting sick from their food and when we went to call they said it was because of the weather changing. But when i tried to get a refund they instead tried to give me a gift card.
Second time we went and it was excellent! All of the appetizers are fantastic.... we chose 6 and then split the pad Thai with chicken. Incredibly good and incredibly priced!! Service was fantastic and our server remembered us and was great! Amazing value!!
The food here was so tasteful we order almost every entre and appitizers and they were all so good.
While the servers were great, the floor manager, maybe the GM, she was very unwelcoming and continued to harass us to order even though the server had taken the order. She seemed to want to rush us even though there was no crowd or demand for tables. Even when she realized that we ordered, she acted as if we needed to do more. Not at all a place to enjoy when you have manager hanging around you and making guests feel like they are not welcome. Bad vibe. Never go there again. I did tip the waiter 25% because he was very pleasant.
Restaurant had only one bartender so we did not get our drinks until well after the meals were delivered. Our shrimp appetizer was not delivered before the meals so we had to eliminate that. We had multiple servers one of whom offered a discount. The next one asked what we wanted for a discount then said we should write our concerns on the ticket and they would give us one later. Then they added a 15% tip to the ticket. Skip this place. It's too loud as well.
The steamed peking duck buns were out of this world!
Ambience was great. Loved the food. Our waitress wasn’t as attentive. Another waiter had to assist us.
We were ignored by the staff when we entered. People coming in after us got seated before we were. Took forever to get waited on, while later arrivals had their food already. Food did come quickly once order was taken, and was very good.
Lamb was delicious but way too hot. Came on a plate of chili peppers. Wish there was a warning of level of heat. Both drinks were also too intense: philly love & ginger Cosmo, too much cucumber & too much ginger. Indian pancake still one of my favorite items was a tad salty this time.
Spice 28 has some very good food! The service is good and the ambiance is good. I had the Singapore Street Noodles. No asked for some extra sauce(because I’m a sauce girl) but the dish was delicious!
nice meet and greet occasion as in a date night or meeting a friend or two to eat something alittle different. They restaurant week menu was all over the place. some things was meant to be joined with your choice but wasnt. Manager I guess was alittle hesitant to exchanging the item and when she did, she gave me something totally different. they soup was great and the menu was good because the items were fresh.Eeven if they didn't tell you before hand that they were out of something or drinks was only included at lunch time.
Food was good. Service was slow Not a good date place bc it was so loud but cool atmosphere
Couldn’t communicate with the waiter very well, but some else came out and will able to help. Other then that a little noisy and a wait for the food
Very fun menu with lots of spicy-sweet surprises that make the most of in-season produce. Quick service and a creative, expertly honed collection of specials, like the spicy cucumbers or green beans with minced pork, make this a top-notch spot for a memorable business lunch or after-movie snack.
Seated quickly, attentive service, tasty appetizers and great drinks! What more do you want? Will definitely be back for a full entree!
SPICE is better than the Chinese restaurant near me SQ..which use to be excellent & changed dramatically poor quality & terrrib le cook.
@ 12 30 very loud could barely hear the person I was with..had to shout..by 1 it was better
$10. rice 4 shrimp...& won ton...good but nothing special
Always amazing food with a fantastic Happy Hour available through the whole restaurant.
Great food, not too expensive, a few good beers, and nice ambiance
We were seated promptly and offered a table by the open window in the bar area so we could take advantage of the happy hour specials. I was pleasantly surprised to find happy hour on a Saturday! We shared several appetizers and small plates - all were delicious. The location and our seat by the window made for fun people watching. Overall, we loved the location and the food and found prices very reasonable.
Love this place. Drunken noodles and Penang Curry are to die for!
Excellent Thai restaurant. The food is always delicious and the staff is always polite. This is my favorite restaurant in Philadelphia.
