Dinner was exceptional. Our server Jackie was very nice and constantly
checked to see that we were happy with our meal. We had several questions about
the specials which she was able to answer. All of the meals (5 of us) were presented
beautifully and cooked to specifications. Drinks were also delicious. Lastly, the brownie cheesecake that she recommended was the bomb!!! Thank you to Jackie and Spencer's
for the best meal of our trip.
Service ease excellent and waiter was helpful in describing and recommending menu items. The filet was perfectly cooked to medium and tender, with a flavorful crust. The salmon had a subtle bourbon glaze and was a good sized portion. The mashed potatoes were delicious. They were soft and fluffy with real sour cream flavor. The dessert was our favorite part of the meal. The monkey bread was warm and full of cinnamon flavor. It was served with three different sweet sauces to compliment the banana, apple, and jelly fillings. This is one of the best and most fun desserts we have tasted in a long time.
Service was impeccable. DAVID made the experience even more enjoyable. Ambience was perfect. The hostess even gave me a beautiful shawl to wrap around my shoulders because I was a bit cold. The only negative was that my date' s steak came out well done instead of medium rare like he requested. The manager quickly fixed it and brought out another one. But I could not take away any stars because every thing else was above and beyond expectations.
I scheduled two client dinners this week. Both events were outstanding. Quality and portion of food was way above average. Service was impeccable. I highly recommend Spencer's for business or personal dining.
On a side note, the noise level is a bit higher than some restaurants, but the service and food make up for it.
Was glad I choose Spencer's to celebrate our anniversary. I called ahead and talked to F&B manager Steve and asked him if he could have a bottle of wine at our table when we arrived. The table was located along the window with a nice view of the pool area and the wine was in place as I requested. Our server Jackie was outstanding. Everyone we came in contact with from valet, restaurant bartender, servers and managers were very helpful. I highly recommend Spencer's and look forward to returning.
Spencer's Steak and Seafood is located in the Hilton Orlando. We had a delicious dinner and were very comfortable in the booth we were given. There was a wonderful choice of fresh east and west coast oysters for appetizers. The steaks were delicious. I had the fresh salmon, and unfortunately mine came out overcooked. But the manager had it replaced with one that was perfectly prepared (rare) and all was good. We were even comped a wonderful chocolate cake for dessert. Service was excellent and we appreciated the effort to make things right.
We were initially seated next to breezy hallway (and the restaurant was nearly empty). We asked our server Stacy if we could move, and she scooted us right over to a booth. Stacy was wonderful, and part of why we had such a good time was because she was so attentive. The food was delicious, melt in your mouth filets. I would eat there again in a heartbeat.
Our dinner was on the early side (7:15) so the restaurant was not very busy yet, so it was pleasantly quiet. The oysters were very fresh, though a bit expensive ($3 each), but we knew this was to be an expensive dinner. The wine list was very nice with a nice selection by the glass. The main course selection steers toward meat (pun intended) and did not disappoint. My elk ribeye was perfect (if you like a more lean cut) and the filets others ordered were very nice as well. As an al-la-carte menu, the only negative was the side item portion sizes. The server indicated they were sharing sizes, but they were hardly enough for a second person.
A nice place with great service and wonderful steaks, worth visiting but be prepared for around $100 per person.
