Awesome breakfast and service by Ana. Had steak and eggs and French toast. Everything cooked perfectly. Great view while you eat as well. 2-4-1 mimosas! Will come back.
Amazing service and food!
We're hoping that Spazio's is giving us OpenTable-credit for our reservation. Upon checking in at the host stand we learned that their iPad had broken (or been misplaced) and they too-casually dismissed their inability to properly check us in (for OpenTable points). I pressed them for it, and only upon realizing it mattered to me, did they say their manager would take care of it later that night. (Still no confirmation from you that they'd done so.)
Music was terribly LOUD. Food was good and service was great. Typical on the street tourist restaurant
Great location on Ft Lauderdale Beach Blvd for people watching. The varied menu offers something for everyone at reasonable prices. We eat here often when in town. Love the pizza. Entertainment is good as well.
A fun place to watch the action on Ft Lauderdale Blvd. with a variety of food choices at reasonable prices. A favorite whenever we come to Ft. Lauderdale.
Food was good. Service was ok.
Firstly, the waiter was awesome.
Way too loud for dinner - I couldn’t understand what my wife and cousin were saying sitting across from them.
The drinks were awful. Requested a top shelf and ended up with what I would expect as a 20 something college student looking to get plastered in spring break.
Food was across the board. My orecchiette pasta with sausage was very good - 7 out of 10. My wife and cousin had seafood pasta - pasta way over done & so was the seafood - rubbery and way overdone. Red sauce so- so. calamari and carpaccio were tasty - although the calamari had a slight “old” oil taste.
Irish coffee and cappuccino were excellent.
Again - the waiter was excellent.
Overall the drinks majorly detracted from the food.
Stop by and enjoy what Fort Lauderdale Beach is all about. They are located right next-door to the Iconic Elbow Room. If you are looking for Fantastic, Italian Cuisine in the Fort Lauderdale Beach area Spazio’s is the spot for you. Our server, Kevin, was very kind, helpful, and attentive. We enjoyed a few wonderfully crafted drinks a Moscow Mule and a “New” Old Fashioned that were both right on point.
For our appetizer we ordered Crab Scoobies, yes Scoobies. Imagine if Scooby Doo had it this Good! 8 large Crab Claws served in a flavorful citrus butter with roasted garlic. I have to say that the only thing better than the crab meat was the sauce! Which we moped up with their delicious bread. No words . . . After reviewing the appetizer section of the menu I can tell you that there are quite a few good ones from which to choose. In fact, we might have to revisit just to sample some more of the delicious appetizers.
For our main entrees Doris ordered the Lasagna with House made Bolognese Sauce, which features ricotta, and mozzarella then topped with Marinara sauce. It was a nice size portion and truly loaded with meat. It is just the way you would make it for yourself at home. I opted for the Chicken Saltimbocca, the Chicken Breast was pounded nice and thin, topped off with provolone, mozzarella, prosciutto, and served with a nice portion of fresh local market vegetables and deliciously fresh mashed potatoes.
Both entrees were excellent! I highly recommend the Chicken Saltimbocca, one of the best that I have had in a long time, Doris concurs. All of the dishes were very nice sized portions and full of great flavor.
As for our dessert, we did the Tres Leches which was presented with torched meringue and it was absolutely delicious, served with fresh whipped cream and a sweet strawberry on the side. These people definitely know the secret of the tres leches (three milks). Not too sweet. Not too moist. Just the perfect combination!
You can really enjoy the
Wonderful menu, good service, higher than anticipated noise level. There are lots of hard surfaces so noise reverberates everywhere. There was also live music which, although well-executed, was unanticipated. The large group seated right next to us in a mostly empty restaurant was extremely and obnoxiously loud. It would have been so much better if they had been seated at the other large table in the elevated section. We will continue our search for a low noise-level restaurant.
We ate at Spain 3 years ago and enjoyed the meal. This time the food left much to be desired. The eggplant appetizer was awful, the eggplant was hard, suggesting that it was way overcooked. Shrimp scampi was not good either. The rest of of the food was not good either. Our server Silvio was very good and professional. As far as the atmosphere, there were a few people who were drunk and bothering other patrons which was not appreciated. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Tourist trap. Food is reheated frozen stuff similar to what you can buy at the grocery store. Views of the ocean are beautiful, but the music is so loud it’s difficult to enjoy anything. It reminds me of a place that you’d go to when you’re 14 and your parents let you and your friends eat separately while on vacation. At the time it feels like it’s a nice place, but when you see it when you’re an adult, you laugh and slap yourself for ever thinking it was a good experience.
Great service, great location, I was concerned about parking options but no issues. Breakfast is great.
Awesome experience! We sat inside and it was perfect! The band was amazing, as well as the food, and service. Vladimir was great!
16 yr old birthday
This was truly a horrid dining experience. We thought, based on prior reviews, that we were going to have a lovely Italian dinner. It was instead just a dreadful meal and experience. It was one of our worst dining experiences ever.
We had no choice but to dine at the restaurant. Once we arrived and immediately saw what we were in for at this horrid place we wanted to leave but could not. Why? It was Saturday night with restaurants all around us packed. We were also in an unfamiliar area without access to transportation to take us to a different venue.
Our food was mediocre...not truly Italian cooking. That was less the problem than the blaring noise masquerading as music. The sound level was so loud that we could not have a conversation. I asked to have the system turned down a bit and was told that they already done so!!!! Did I mention the walls covered with plasma TVs which served as a distraction, not a choice? The restaurant is a glorified bar, not a dining establishment.
The bill was presented and carefully reviewed. I paid, adding a tip to the total on the credit card invoice. The next morning I said to myself that the total bill seemed like a lot of money for what we received. I looked at the back up slip and found that the new version received after handing in my credit car already had a service charge on it .I swear that the version that the waiter presented to me for review did not have such a charge. It was added when he did the final processing.
A lousy meal is a lousy meal. Being scammed like this just adds insult to injury. In a word, we feel violated. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.
Spent 2 nights in Ft Lauderdale. Great pick for drinks and dinner. Everything was wonderful! Food and service
I absolutely loved this place!
Great friday night vibe with live band and music. Patio seating has great waterfront view. The stulio mule drink was soo refreshing, with just the right amount of ginger and alcohol. Will definitely go back.
Went for the first time, we had complained that the oysters we had for an appetizer were not good and were met with a “sure” by someone who I presume was the manager (she never introduced herself). We mistakenly ordered our dinners when we ordered our apps, our food came out minutes after our apps arrived. Service was poor. Wont be back.
SO AMAZING! best meal ever and great entertainment
Great food and service
Great food, great environment!
Enjoyed Mother’s Day with a quick lunch at Spazio.
Great dinner spot with live music and a great energetic feel.
Great views! Great fun times with the outdoor entertainment! Good food. Good service.
Outdoor seating with ocean view. Very good place but can get crowded.
Salmon flatbread appetizer was awesome.
Service and food were great. Went out of the way for a birthday celebration but the live music is soooo loud.
The food was delicious and the service was great but it was just too hot inside but that’s SoFlo weather for ya!
Awful Restaurant ... Rude Management... I would not recommend Spazios at all. For a proper Italian meal or heck even decent service you’ll want to go to Las Olas area for awesome restaurants and better service!
Ok spot on the strip. Drinks very overpriced. Very loud. Had to inside in the back.
Was shocked at location and number of funky characters outside this restaurant. It was not high end. More like beach dining for college spring break group. Left without eating. Do not recommend
Beautiful experience. We went for my twin brothers birthday and they accommodated every moment of it. There was a live band that stopped to sing happy Birthday to them. It was beautiful.
The food was delicious. The restaurant is extremely loud so you can barely hear yourself talking. The wait staff was very friendly.
When I received my bill there was a Covid-19 fee of $1.04 and a service charge of $7.80 in addition to food and tax! No explanation given. Watched as diners came and went and there was no extra cleaning done to the tables so why am I paying almost $9.00 extra?! Won’t be back for sure!
The service and quality was amazing. Our view outside was stunning. The food was different and delicious. Great atmosphere and service. Highly recommend. Thank you!
Everything was perfect until we presented the server with a coupon we had been given earlier in the day while walking past the restaurant. The server was clearly annoyed. When he returned, he had added in a 15% service fee and a covid fee. When we asked him if the service fee was gratuity, he claimed that he only receives 5% of it and we should still tip him. Unfortunately, this is the second time this restaurant has tried to scam us. It really is a shame because the food is excellent and fairly priced. Additionally, the atmosphere is energetic due to the live music and fun patrons.
We literally only saw our waitress to order food and to deliver our food. We were constantly asking other waiters for refills and drinks and stuff. But besides for sh*t service... the food sucks. We both sent back our first meals and had them replaced with something else and those meals sucked too. Like how can someone mess up chicken Parmesan??? Honestly- just go somewhere else. This place is nasty
The food was excellent. My husband had the fettuccini Alfredo and I had the chicken Marsala both were excellent! Will definitely return on our next trip.
