Filet of Branzino
Pasta was phenomenal. The bread and vegetables were even amazing. The Spasso red wine was 10/10 too.
Highly recommended and easy to see why. Entire meal was superb. Careful attention by our waitress.
Delicious as always!!
First time eating at Spasso. Not sure what to expect. Really good experience, very friendly waiter and tasty food.
We all loved it! First time there and we will be back. Our meals were very good and reasonably priced with good portion sizes. Service was also very good and the chocolate mouse cake we split for dessert was delicious!
Delicious food, great atmosphere, incredible service!
Delicious food! Good service, really enjoyed my time here.
Service was a little slow. We figured it was attributed to short staffing. Otherwise it was great
This off-the-beaten-path restaurant is AMAZING. simple interior, classic italian menu - everything we had was delicious. My husband had Rack of Lamb, which was incredible, I had Zuppa de Peche - absolute perfection; i couldn't finish it. HIGHLY recommend!
Love this place. Best Italian food in the city.
Food was amazing! Nice place to celebrate my birthday
We’ve been to Spasso quite a few times and have not been disappointed! Only thing is that since they took out the booths the noise level was very high.
I can't say enough about our dinner at Spasso! The food is just phenomenal, the service is fantastic, and we really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. It's so nice to get great food that doesn't cost a fortune!
Excellent food, kept tables turning quickly, a wonderful Saturday night in Philly
Great service and great food! My wife and I were early for our reservation but we got seated immediately. Try the gnocchi bolognese
My party and I went for Center City restaurant week and it was well worth it. We had never been before and I really wanted to try this place while they were offering such a great deal. The food was absolutely delicious! We shared the bruschetta, meatballs and caprese salad for apps and all were great. I had the crab ravioli for dinner and also tasted the short rib pasta dish and the NY strip steak dish. All were also flavorful and delicious. Everyone in my party was happy with our experience at this restaurant and would definitely come back again.
Had the veal porcini. May be the best Italian food I ever had
We ate outside which was wonderful. Service was good but the food was disappointing. Our clam appetizer was pretty good but the Chicken Fontinella was drenched in sauce - I couldn’t even see the asparagus.
Spasso’s is one of the best restaurants in Philly.. definitely top 3 best Italian restaurants. It never disappoints!
We went here for Center city restaurant week. Most restaurants give you a few choices each of appetizer entree and desert. Spasso lets you choose from their regular every day menu so you are not limited at all.Plus they give you an extra course of a small bowl of pasta and sauce between the appetizer and the main course. Everything is delicious! If you’re hungry, this is the place to be!
Great food, lunch was prepared as if for a dinner out
Our food was disgusting.
The menu has a bit of everything! Definitely willing to go back to try more of it! Food was delicious! It was restaurant so they were busy and some drunk customers were very loud
It’s always great to visit Spasso during Restaurant Week.
Food was good. Paul, the server, was amazing
It Was my daughter’s 40th birthday dinner that I treated
her and my daughter in law. We had reservations foe
Friday, 9/24 at 6:30 pm. We were told by our waiter it was restaurant week and mentioned that it was a 4
Course meal for
The appetizers we all chose were good. We then received the penne pomodoro. We really didn’t eat it since we were having pasta with our entree. I, as well as my daughter, had the linguine with shrimp and crab meat. My daughter I. Law ordered the Branzino
with the linguine.
My daughter and my entree only had 2
Shrimp each and the crabmeat could hardly been seen in the
Dish. We assumed that it would have had a little more shrimp and noticeable
Crabmeat. It was disappointing for we felt like all we really had was linguine. However, My daughter in law enjoyed her branzino. We had our
Desserts packed to go. With 2 drinks, my bill came to $152.15 and I added a $30.00 tip bringing the total to $182.15. I did t mention anything since it was a special dinner that I wanted to have for my daughter’s 40th but was disappointed with the entree.
It was daughter's birthday. We had reservations at 6:30 pm, but decided to try out the happy hour before then. The happy hour was great. Appetizers were excellent and inexpensive and drinks very reasonable. Dinner was just as fabulous with $40 4-course dinner with any pick of appetizer and entrée. Wonderful time and a great deal. It's worth visiting again and again.
My Wife and I took a friend to Spasso for lunch and it was the perfect choice! Easy street parking, quant interior design, friendly server, wonderful food (veal parmigiana, soup and potato gnocchi were all great)!
The waitress was very unpleasant, ruining the meal. The food is mediocre compared to other Italian restaurants in Philly.
The food and service were both amazing!!
Great Italian spot in the city - we've been multiple times across the last 5 years and Spasso has consistently been one of our favorites.
We had a great meal and wonderful service / our waiter provided excellent service and suggestions on both meals and wine
This restaurant is so good I was here twice this week.
Probably bring some more people next week.
I am also a food snob so twice in a week speaks volumes for this restaurant.
Food and service was very good. We never had a bad meal. Always have an amazing time.
The food and service were amazing!
Went there for a birthday celebration. Food was phenomenal.
The food was excellent, homemade pasta was really fresh!
Cos is a great server and the food is always perfect.
It was a wonderful place to dine after a play performance at the Constitution Center.
Thanks for being so accomodating....Mary Ellen Heefner
