Sparks Steak House was opened in 1966 by Michael and Pasquale Cetta, hence the logo 'Cetta Brothers Steak Masters'. The restaurant is still a family owned and operated business and is located in midtown Manhattan, a five minute walk from Grand Central Station and The United Nations. Join us to celebrate 50 years of business!



The restaurant is well known for excellent steaks, seafood, fresh vegetables and satisfying salads.
And of course, the huge wine list.

                                                                                                    Decent experience. Wasn’t really impressed with the steak. It was pretty tough, had a nice crust (Prime Sirloin). But then again have been spoiled by A5 and long dry-aged cuts. The hash brown potatoes were great. Service was just vanilla. A lot of elbow service and no crumbing. Expected fine dining service and it was pretty lackluster. Celebrated a birthday dinner and they didn’t seem to care. Might return but probably not.

At least two wines were priced as Napa but in fact were North Coast, and the manager declined to update the price per bottle (unheard of, compared to standard practice in restaurant industry because lesser region prices lower). Tomato & onion appetizer also not the traditional thick cut style — full onion & tomato slices.
