Sparks Steak House fue inaugurado en 1966 por Michael y Pasquale Cetta, de donde proviene el logotipo 'Cetta Brothers Steak Masters'.                                                                                                     It has been a dream of mine to eat at this establishment and it did not disappoint. The only reason I am upset is that I will probably never have a steak as good as this one AND it was so much I had to leave the rest of it at the hotel. Hope to make it back here again before I die.

                                                                                                    I have been here many times in the past and I can honestly say it is one of the most consistent restaurants I’ve ever been to. The first time I dined at Sparks, I was immediately impressed by not only the best wine list, but the ”well” stocked bar. They have every liquor that you could imagine, from Macallan 12 year old up to the rare 30 year old, Louis XIII and more. The service is impeccable, the appetizers outstanding and the best sirloin in the city of not the country. The deserts don't disappoint either. All in all a great meal and the price is reasonable. If you consider two people having eggs for breakfast at the local diner cost $50 to $60 nowadays!

A throwback in modern times, as a steakhouse that doesn’t require gimmicks to be great. Shrimp Cocktail, Prime Sirloin, Lobster, Hash Browned Potatoes & Broccoli. All cooked to perfection. I’m a ribeye person & was skeptical on the steak. That was misplaced worry. It was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. It couldn’t have been cooked better. The ONLY complaint I have is the Old Fashioned. And that is likely the most inconsistently made drink on earth. So, they totally get a pass there.

                                                                                                    The restaurant needs to get their act together. They should not accept late night reservations if they are not interested in serving guests fully at that time. We ordered drinks and appetizers promptly. Mid bite of our apps the server asked for our mains order because the kitchen was closing - it was 9 minutes after we sat down. When we finished our apps we were ready to order and we understood the kitchen needed to close. But it was shocking how the manage came by and asked “are you ready to order your mains or what? The kitchen is closing”. No good evening, no pleasantries. Incredible for an establishment like this for a manager to have no decorum. We paid the bill and went to enjoy our evening at Smith and Wollensky. We even got a tour of the meat locker and wine cellar. For the price of this restaurant - go somewhere else!

                                                                                                    Lucky was our server and he was very personable. Timely. Let us enjoy each of our courses. Very personable would highly recommend eating in his section again.

                                                                                                    I chose to dine at Sparks Steakhouse for my birthday. My husband and I went on our first date at Sparks when it was on 18th St. & Irving Place in the 1970's. Oscar, our waiter at the new location, was terrific! He and the owner kept checking in on us. We ordered drinks before the steak dishes. They were nice and chilled. We shared a Caesar's salad as well as a baked potato. The dessert was a tartufo along with lots of berries and whipped cream. The coffee was hot and delicious. Yum!! The ambiance is stunning. There are paintings with gorgeous frames all along the beautiful wood walls. A great restaurant for celebrating special occasions!
