Service was excellent! Tapas were delicious. Best of all, Sangria was AMAZING!!!!
A nice surprise in a busy area. The personal attention from the staff was a big plus and the live music really topped it off. Their Crema Catalan is fantastic as was the rest of the meal.
Great food and service. We had a variety of tapas, Each as good as the next.
Spain restaurant was great!! we had tapas and a bottle of wine which were excellent, along with the guitarist that was playing some nice jazz and Spanish guitar music. I would recommend this restaurant for their good service, food and atmosphere.
Outstanding! Food and service were terrific and the classical guitarist was a very special bonus. We will be back.
Madeline was a great server, drinks and food were delicious. Owner came by to check that we were happy. Would definitely visit again and recommend.
Luisa the server was excellent. The Paella was great, the Octopus excellent and the pork loins great. Be aware of the lack of parking nearby at reasonable price.
Spain Restaurant was amazing. The service from Andrew outstanding. Very attentive and knowledgeable. Love when he would say cool beans. Lol. The food so good!!! We recommend the Filete Saltiado which is beef tenderloins with mushrooms, spanish chorizo, and a wine sauce and yellow rice on the side.
How delish! And of course the seafood paella was amazing! We had mojitos and we love the fact that we were given a tall glass and the taste was excellent. By the way the flamingo music was great. Will recommend to all my family and friends.
Great food and live music was very nice. We went on Tapas Tuesday which was a great deal.
Wonderful diverse menu for tapas, entrees and beverages. Quiet at our early dining time. We ordered seafood and chicken. Presentation and food temperature as well as taste were above average. Close to downtown venues.
If you’re looking for authentic Spanish tapas, this is your place. I was in town for only 28 hours when we randomly stumbled upon this restaurant. As soon as I walked in it felt like I was transported to Spain. The tables, the decor. All exactly like something you would find in Spain. The service was fantastic. And the food! It’s the first time I’ve had patatas bravas in the United States that tasted exactly like they taste in Spain. Well done! I will definitely be coming back the next time I’m in Tampa.
While the food was excellent, the service was extremely disappointing. We ordered a price fixe meal, which should, in itself, be easier, as the pace of the meal is pre-planned. Our appetizers, which were excellent, took a while to come out. Then, suddenly, after not having taken two bites of our appetizer, we were presented with our entree! Not only were we not ready for the entree, but the salad had not even been offered. So, we sent the food back. After we completed the appetizer, our salad was presented and of course, before we finished, here came the entree, yet again. We were seated at a small table, which was together with other tables, so there was absolutely no room for additional food. We surrended the salad and started our paella, which again, was excellent. The desserts, flan and cheese cake, were nothing special. So, though we were extremely disappointed in the service, the Flamenco show was amazing and the food was tasty. We would return, but hopefully would have a more trained, more attentive server.
Loved the menu variety. Good location, staff very attentive. Would go back!
Great food and service. Excellent value!
Always great. Love Spain
The service was good but the food was blend. I usually never add salt to a dish but this time I had too. Is a good place for tapas and sangria. We went to see the Flamenco Show and 50% of the customers were loud and it was hard to enjoy the music.
Added a $10/person fee for a show we didn’t really watch. The food was not very good. Service was okay.
Lovely live music, great service and the paella was delicious!
We love everything about this place! Bartender Dylan and owner Alfredo love to make you feel special each time. There is no dish on the menu that isn’t exquisite! Truly a gem.
Very nice restaurant, friendly staff, food was good.
Comfortable space, great food and music for reasonable prices.
The music was good but the food was not authentic spanish
The restaurant was very pretty inside and the service was average the presentation was a little poor broken shells in the mussels and portions were small but the taste was good. The paper table covers and the seats were uncomfortable
Very disappointing, food was horrible.. waitress didn’t know much about the food and they didn’t have several items listed on the menu. The live music was good but the rest is expensive for the quality and service
Spain never disappoints.
My husband and I went and had a fantastic dinner and the Flamenco dancers were awesome...will go again
It's usually a good place bit service was really bad this time around. Took an hour and we still didn't get our entrees. We did get to eat our appetizers and get some drinks but then they messed up the checks and added drinks to one tab that didn't have the drinks. Not only that then we got questioned about our drinks. Poor customer service Saturday night that's for sure. I would like to try it again in hopes service is better the next time around
Food was good, not great. The music was so loud that we couldn't hear the person sitting next us, much less those across the table.
We stopped in here for dinner before going to an Escape Room nearby. The food and cocktails were amazing. Customer service and music was great too! A hidden gem for sure.
Paella was not in the traditional style. This was just a plate of rice with seafood in it. No saffron, peas etc.
Spain Restaurant and Toma is a Downtown Tampa treasure. Great food, great service and the best Spanish guitarist you’ll find in Florida. Don’t miss the opportunity to experience Spain, you’ll come back again and again.
Food is always wonderful. The Flamenco performance the last Sat of the month is really special
We love coming here, especially for Flamenco show. Its such a great place with unique comfy vibe.
We love to bring our out of town guests to Spain. The staff was VERY accommodating and we know we will be back to show off one of Tampa's best restaurants.
We went for the flamenco night and both the band and the dancers were incredible. The food and drinks were delicious and completed the wonderful experience.
We have a great experience. We enjoyed the Flamenco show.
Excellent food...Great service.
We love Spanish food & this is the best place in the Tampa Bay area for that.
The tapas dishes were good and did not come all at once, which we prefer. We've all had better paella, however, as the rice was a bit soggy and tasteless.
Regardless, we had a lovely evening!
Father’s Day dinner here was less than I hoped for. Generous portions of mediocre food. Filet Salteado was tough meat. Chorizo was less dense than I would expect for a Spanish chorizo. Calamari was good.
The staff was friendly as always. The tapas were exquisite. Every time we go, we feel like we’re in Spain.
