Spago - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Excelent food and great service. When we first arrived we were slightly surprised because the restaurant almost looked like a small cafe from the outside. Yet after entering the restuarant we realized there was a "formal" dining area as well as an upstairs. Service was excellent. food was delicious (especially the scallops), and we will definitely go back when we visit Vegas again.
Went for our Anniversary and from the moment we got there until the time we left, the people at Spago were super attentive. The crab cakes were really good as appetizer. I had the filet and my husband had the duck and we were both very pleased. The egg nog creme brule was like nothing we had before and as an anniversary surprise, they brought us a cheesecake with a side of Mexican hot chocolate which was unbelievable. Visit Spago and any of the other Wolfgang Puck restaurants (like the Pizzeria at Crystals- best PIZZA aside from Italy)
We had reservations to eat at the outdoor patio cafe and dined off their cafe menu. I loved eating in their cafe, because you can people watch and see the sky changing colors!I had read reviews were the noise level was too loud, but I thought it was fine. We were a party of two and we both ordered the meatloaf, which was delicious! Our waiter was attentive and the service couldn't have been any better. The food came out quickly! We just barely finished eating a slice of their yummy selections of bread when it arrived. The food was so good, we devoured every morsel of it. Can't wait to go back!
Good. Initially the waiter was very attentive and then a group of 6 came to the table next to me. From that moment on I was completely ignored. I had to ask for everything. My main course was brought, I was starving and had finished my salad but the plate wasn't removed. Therefore, the server took my main course back to the kitchen. I wasn't too happy about this. They said not to worry that it would be brought back to me.
My husband and I visited Las Vegas for the first time this weekend. We went to Vegas for the shopping, shows and culinary opportunities that are not available to us where we live. Our Saturday night dinner at Spago was defintely one of the highlights of our trip. The service was excellent, the staff was extremelly friendly without being invasive; the atmosphere was lively and aesthetically pleasing; and truly the food was to die for! We ordered the Chef's sampler plate and were blown away with each ensuing course. The flavors were complex, unexpected and wonderfully complimentary. Honestly, I teared up a few times overcome by the fabulosity of it all. We couldn't have been happier with our experience. Thank you!
WE were a party of 12. We had dinner reservations @ Spago @ 6:15pm, show @ 8pm @ Caesar Colosseum. Due to unseen issues, I had to call and change reservation to 6:30pm. By the time all arrived, we didn't order until 7pm. I explained to waitor, we had a show @ 8pm around corner. No problem he said. AND we had amazing food, wine and service and made the show. WOW! Thank you Spago!! Our waitor staff was incredible, best ever!
We always eat at Spago at least once when visiting Las Vegas. It was a good choice for Thanksgiving dinner this trip as we knew we would not be disappointed. You can eat in the dining room or eat in the cafe and watch the Forum Shoppes traffic go by. There are separate menus, but you can order off either menu regardless of where you are seated.
The food overcomes the somewhat downscale location in the Forum Shops. The main dining room is looking a little dated, but the food is what attracts the clientelle, and that is as good as ever. The house specialty chopped salad, made with lightly blanched vegetables, is amazing, but the three courses we tried were all good. A great choice for a late lunch in Las Vegas.
Part of the Caesar's Palace Forum Shops - Spago could easily be a bit pedestrian - however, it is far from it. Basically we had the best meal of our stay in Vegas there. The service was fabulous, amenable, accommodating and friendly; the food was mind blowingly good; and the prices were very fair and reasonable for the quality of the food.
We attended Spago based on a recommendation from a friend. The food was EXCELLENT, but unfortunately, that was the only thing that was above average. The location (which I realize they can't do much about) is right in the middle of the Shops at the Forum in Caesar's, so based on the crowd coming by the "patio" it feels like you're in the middle of a mall. Our waiter rushed us through our dinner, which we had intended to take our time with, and the restaurant was far from busy. Overall, it was a below average experience with above average food.
Not at all for families! Too loud, poor menu choices and the one great item on the cafe menu was taken off (chicken wings). Furthermore, it seems they deliberately try to avoid letting you know about the cafe menu ( the only menu that could possibly accommodate kids).
Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. She even brought out a plate of complementary dessert cookies because we were on our honeymoon. We have mixed reviews on these tho, macaron-gorgeous, some others-burnt. Service was fast which was great.Food was only average which wasn't what we expected from what we heard before visiting.
The service was prompt, the food was not exceptional. The best part was the amuse bouche. I had the buratta prosciuto fig salad which was ok. My husband's mixed salad was fine. The short ribs was enormous, the gnocchi just ok. My husband got the filet mignon which was too salty. I've been to the Spago's in Beverly Hills which I thought was a great experience; this one was a "so-so" experience.
despite we reserved six months earlier, they gave us a table at the cafe with a different menu .
After we asked for a table inside the restaurant, the order took more than one hour and a half to get served.
Last but not least the meal was cold.
This was my favorite restaurant for many years in my yearly visits in las Vegas but I will never come back.
Really good food here! Pricey but worth the money. I don 't mind paying when it is this good. Very noisy, like pretty much all the Vegas establishments. I could do with a bit more serenity, as we were 6 and could not really have a conversation. Unfortunately there was no pizza on the menu.
