Spago - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Made reservation on OpenTable several weeks ago and requested front / “outside” table but there was no table available for us. Disappointed. Food and Service were fine. Waiter was very nice. But nevertheless not the experience I wanted to return to after my visit this past August.
Our party of 8 celebrated a birthday with a Sunday 12:30 reservation. The "patio" seating is great for people watching as all traffic coming and going from the Forum Shops passes through the walkway in front of the restaurant. The food was delicious, service was very friendly but slow, and prices are what you would expect for a celebrity chef restaurant for the Strip.
There are select brunch items available on a separate menu on Sunday. The menu is one page with starters, salads, pastas, and entrees of California cuisine. Everyone enjoyed their food with the sea bass being the favorite. The desserts were all delicious and a definite positive. The souffle is a classic and was executed perfectly. They took care of the birthday boy with a special dessert.
Our server was quite nice and helpful, but had to cover too many tables and was spread too thin. Our two course meal took 2 hours and 15 minutes. Pricing was $30/person before tip. If you're a fan of Wolfgang Puck, this restaurant won't let down.
We had dinner here with my husband before seeing a show.
Our server greeted us right away. The Margherita pizza was amazing.
I ordered their house Pinot and was good for the price.
The service was pretty fast, we did not have to wait long.
Will definitely go back again.
I have dined at spago both here in Vegas and in LA and I have to say this Time was not a good one. The meal started with the server telling me and my group that we “couldn’t order off the menus we had bc they were dinner menus” mind you it’s 445 and Dinner starts at 5. The hostess made it a point to give us dinner menus.
After she was rude I said I have been here many times and I’m sure by the time you bring the wine and open it and we all talk it will be 5 and dinner will be fine. She then leaves and comes back with a different attitude but it doesn’t matter bc my whole group is talking about this the whole meal.
I will come back but I will want to speak to someone about what happened.
What an enjoyable and delicious dinner we had at Spago. Beautiful restaurant, excellent food, superior service. We were 4 for dinner before our show at the Coliseum. Wonderful crab cake appetizer, and great shrimp cocktail. Short rib goulash was to die for. My son-in-law had the NY steak and he raved about it. The same for my husband and the duck breast he ordered. Service was spot on. Very friendly, very professional. Will be back!
Service was great. We were seated just inside overlooking the corridor so the people watching was terrific. The food was good but nothing out of the ordinary. My burger and fries were just fine and certainly one wouldn't expect anything less from a Wolfgang Puck place. My husband's pasta was good but the menu stated calabrian peppers and instead the dish had green bell peppers. He doesn't like them so picked them all out. We enjoyed ourselves and the staff was terrific.
