Spago has always been one of my favorites. The best oysters are here-we have tried oysters all over the country and these are still our favorite. I’m pretty upset that the chef took away the olive bread and the Nori butter though. I looked forward to that every time and now it’s gone.

We celebrated our 30 year wedding anniversary. Everyone was so nice. They recognized and acknowledged our anniversary from the moment we stepped in the door and everyone throughout our evening. We did the Dine L.A and it was amazing!

We were seated on the patio and our table did not receive much warmth from the overhead heaters.

Our waiter didn’t check on us as often as we would have preferred.

We preferred the old format of offering bread from a large basket rather than a fixed combination of bread on the table.

It was such a perfect meal! I can’t say enough good things about every little detail and service and food. Our meal was a 3.5 hour experience and they even unexpectedly took us to the kitchen for a quick tour and we met Mr. Puck. They also gave us one of the nicest seats in the house by the fire after we asked for a table change. Loved it and will definitely go back

Resting on its laurels? Service was extremely poor, especially considering our group spent around $1,000 for our dinners and drinks. Very disappointing considering reputation and past experience.

Staff was lovely and food was pretty good but too pretentious to relax in. Great place to take someone you want to impress with your willingness to throw money away on a so-so experience.

Our waitress, Margarite, was not attentive and we had to get her attention on two or three occasions to get the order for the dessert, get the check.

I’ve tried dinela testing menu. My top1 would be tuna cone. It was really good and cone looks so cute. But, I feel the dinela menu was overprice based on all courses.
The cod entree was tasty too.

Absolutely fabulous experience from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The staff from the host team at the front to the server (Andreas) to the server helper, the food runner, the sommelier are as pleasant and professional as can be. The food was outstanding which is to be expected from such an iconic restaurant, but what puts it over the top is the team that works there.

We had awesome seats in the center and saw the whole resturant. The chefs were in view behind glass. It was a fun evening. Service was great. Food was awesome!! Most expensive meal of my life, but it was worth it.

I have been at Spagos several times during the years, but I must say that it seems that it has become a "tourist attraction" now a days. The Service and attention is not good and it feels more like the customer should be happy just to get a table at Spagos, maybe the staff needs to be more kean on taking care of the guest then to think that we are there for them. No, next time I will defenitively chose another Restaurant. The food was good but not exellent and not worth the price. The athmosphere of Spago is gone!

Haven’t been to Spago’s in many years. Should’ve come back sooner. The meal was exceptional, with every dish prepared perfectly. The pear salad with Gorgonzola, and prosciutto had a perfect balance of sweet and saltiness. The squid ink pasta with lobster was perfect for 2 to share. My dish - Steamed Cod HK style couldn’t have been prepared any better. The fish just melted and had a smoky and spicy flavor that was unexpected and wonderful. The dessert was the sorbet that was light and not too sweet. Perfect way to end the meal.

Food was exceptional, as was the service and ambiance. No one compares to Wolfgang Puck when it comes to combining flavors to excite your palate. We started with the spicy Tuna cones (amazing), next the chestnut stuffed pasta, then the half chicken, then the rum boa dessert(to die for) Just a great experience!

Had not been to Spago recently but our recent visit was a bit disappointing. The low light and volume of background music were not conducive to our recent visit. Although acknowledging the sound level, the server did not speak louder or attempt to try to make himself understood. His welcome was perfunctory and after learning that two of our party had not been to the restaurant before, nevertheless described the menu format in very indifferent terms. He did offer a small flashlight at one point to view the wine list but it was not to be seen again. Once courses were delivered, he was nowhere to be found. After being flagged down to refill an empty water glass, no apology was offered. The meal itself lived up to expectations but the seemingly uncaring service offset the experience. The service picked up immediately when the check was requested as it came instantly.
