   Terrible, we ordered the tasting menu and got harrased halfway though our meal and we’re told if we wanted to continue having drinks we had to “talk to the manager” after ordering over a thousand plus.

   Spago - Beverly HillsResponded on November 23, 2022Unfortunately, this guest failed to mention that after all three guests had 6 cocktails each, and all but dessert of their 8 course tasting menu, they left without paying a penny of their over $1000 bill or leave any gratuity for the staff. We are required by law not to overserve our guests and want to make sure our guests enjoy responsibly. We certainly did not harass the guests, but informed them politely we could not responsibly continue to serve them additional alcohol.

   Excellent service and food. Only thing I would change is the temperature in the restaurant. It felt a bit chilly like a window was open. Otherwise, staff, service, food, drinks, was stellar!

   I love Spago! Omar the sommelier is fabulous and always has something interesting to offer when I come in. I typically get the chefs tasting menu, there's never a disappointment... Spago's employees are always extremely warm and welcoming. It is truly a treat to dine here.

   Was fortunate to get a seat by the fireplace in the courtyard as requested as usual. Thank you🥂. The hosts, the wait staff, everyone is exceptional every time. And I eat there frequently. I have yet to have a less than perfect meal there and I’ve been going since 1994 back in the old Spagos location. Miss seeing Mr Puck as much as used to be around but understandably, he’s a busy gentleman. Shout out to Maria, love to walk in and see your smile.

   Normally, I'm a huge fan of Spago, but since they've moved their dining to the large outside tent, the service hasn't been up to par. It's too big and too far to provide the level of service that should come with a first-class operation. Food was still excellent, but we waited a very long time for it (drinks too). I'll go back when they move back to their main dining room.

    An always dependable LA institution. Yes, it is pricey, but perfect for special occasions. It was my first time back since before the pandemic (!!) and the food and service were as excellent as I remember.

    Service and ambience at this once great restaurant have declined so much it was rather like eating at a fancy McDonald’s with slightly better food. (That’s not 100% fair the food is good) you’re just eating in a tent on the street with schlubby waitstaff. Experience was a big fat zero.

    My wife and I live in a world-famous resort area with many great restaurants. We are used to a four-star experience whether dining locally or in our world travels. We take extra care when choosing a restaurant and in LA we always choose Spago. Reliable, distinctive. Always a great dinner. No risk, no worries.     Delicious tasting menu. Mushrooms had a wonderful kick to them. Wagyu crust and salt incredibly tasty. Soufflé was smooth and chocolatey. Servers were friendly and accommodating.

    This is my third experience at Spago in Beverly Hills. I must say, every time I come, I am impressed at how professional the waiters are. The music was a bit loud but did not stop the food from tasting fantastic. I would recommend the salmon pizza and pork chop as these two items stood out more than their peers.

    Incredibly disappointing. I ate at this restaurant more than 40 times in the past. It used to be good. But not anymore. Not only that the food came 70 minutes after we order – it was really mediocre food. The level you expect to get at a $20 a plate restaurant. We both had stakes and they both was pretty bad. We didn’t even finish eating them. Very unfortunate to see this establishment go so low.

    Be very careful and review your bill. They overcharged me for the bottle of wine and one of the dishes that I ordered. This has never happened to me before. good thing I remember the prices from the menu so I could challenge the bill. They adjusted it once I pointed it out. Really disappointing.

    The whole experience was a giant disappointment. Had not eaten at Spago since they moved the dining room into a giant tent. Was seated at a table that bounced every few minutes as other patrons were seated or servers carried food in and out. The food arrived cold, and the service was slow. For such an expensive meal, it was a bust.

    Our main dishes got to us late and they were cold, not the same service we are used to? Hopefully it’s a one time thing? Otherwise we love the new menu for Fall! The squash dishes were great!

    Significantly over priced, obviously you are paying for the name. $35 for a glass of ok wine. Entree’s, two were good (duck and weinershnitzle) two were mediocre. Service was good but not great. As a comparison we had been at Spago’s in the Four Seasons in Maui earlier this year and everything there was 5 stars. LA needs to catch up.

    Will never eat here again. Not only did it take 1.5 hours for our food to come out. Once it did, They got out order wrong. They also Sat us all the way in the back of the restaurant and no one came over to serve us frequently. Constantly had to flag a waiter down to get any type of service. We nearly walked out and then the food FINALLY came, only for it to be cold and under seasoned!! With items of the order missing! We said to cancel the missing items, only for it to come out 15 minute later while the rest of the table had their food and we were still charged for them after saying to cancel. Never EATING HERE AGAIN. Especially if you’re a group of color, they will not treat you right here. Spend your money elsewhere.

    Went for a special experience, and had the worst time. Asked to sit at inside terrace, and was literally told, "there's no inside - the tent is all we have," as another party was escorted INSIDE to the inner terrace. I am totally fine if there isn't space, but not fine to be lied to. My friend and I ordered cocktails, and after a 30 minute wait asked our waitress where they were - she said, "well I definitely ordered them..." - obviously, I would hope! Then she tried to take our food order before checking on drinks. Bartender brought them, and said the white Negroni was his "second favorite cocktail." We asked what his first would be, and he offered to make one to try. This was entirely his suggestion, and while welcomed, when the bill came, they had charged us for it! We ordered the bread to start, and within 5 minutes the staff brought us our two pasta dishes (one of which was with fresh white truffles). There was no room on the table, and we had just started buttering our Parker House rolls. We asked for it to be sent back in a bit. Then 5 minutes later, AGAIN - this time 2 wait staff - tried to deliver the pasta. I explained that this was not properly coursed out, and asked for it to be sent back and re-made to be fresh vs. sitting under a heat lamp. With a $170 pasta dish, I would expect the chef and kitchen to have more pride than this messy handling. The restaurant was not that busy, and it was a bit of a sleepy night. So the overall handling of service, guest experience, and ambience of weird purple lighting in a tent are not befitting of a restaurant I once loved. It felt dusty, un-sexy, and old-fashioned. Meanwhile, a table with 2 men was attended to by no fewer than 3 wait staff at all times who hovered like hummingbirds. The final kicker: when I went to get my car from valet, I was basically thrown my keys and walked myself to the vehicle. It was a totally lackluster, subpar situation all around. Do better, Spago.

    We had a large group for a birthday party. The service was very good. The wine list was amazing. They had fresh white truffle which is expected for a restaurant of this quality. I feel the food was a bit over priced for what it was. Otherwise we had a great time.

    Sitting outside in the tent was disappointing. Our service was very poor with multiple items forgotten. We waited a long time for a glass of wine. Even though the rest of us got ours. The food was good but not as good as other similarly priced meals. Overall a disappointment.
