Always excellent. Laurent ensures the service is spot on. Wolf ensures the kitchen produces delicious, exciting food that is not precious or pretentiously 'out there'.
Best dinner since we’ve been in LA. Yes it’s expensive but so far everything in LA is expensive. Wolfgang was working the room when we were there which was nice to see. Our service was fantastic!
Service was good and most of the food was well worth it. The sides (ie asparagus was not great and pricey). Food took quite some time between courses, but otherwise was well done- I had the halibut and my wife had the NY prime. Octopus soup was very good as well. Highlight was the white truffle agnolotti (although black truffle would have been nicer imo) Missed out on the tuna tartare. Should ask for courtyard seating especially if eating earlier in the day and booth otherwise - much better seating than staring into the kitchen...
A first time experience, having not been able to get a table the last time in LA. It did not disappoint as the food was excellent with levels of flavour and very good accompanying wines. Clearly, it’s not going to be inexpensive from the a la carte, but worth it for the experience with a good vibe and service to match. Would highly recommend.
Great food, great service.
The highlight of a trip to Spago continues to be David - our favorite server! He has been there 12 years and it’s obvious why - he has mastered his craft. He remembers what your favorite dishes are visit to visit, has the kind of personality that puts you at ease and lifts your spirits, and basically just curates the meal for you. He makes requests of the chef but always has an outstanding alternative if the answer from the kitchen is “no” or “it’s too late in the day to order that.” You can tell he cares and is passionate about hospitality. If you leave while he’s supporting other guests he runs out to valet to thank you. Who does that anymore?? Yes - all the servers are good at Spago, but this one is exceptional and really stands out. Ask to sit in his section and you’ll see!
Great experience. Delicious food. Saw a celebrity.
We loved it! The food was great and great service to.
Everything about tonight was top shelf. The service, food and ambience were impeccable! Wolfgang Puck even came to speak with my wife and me.
Excellent food, probably could find better value for less, but great place for special occasions
Wolfgang came to say Hi. Wiener Schnitzel is the recipe from his Grandmother. DELICIOUS!!
Everything about it was amazing. The setting the food and our adorable waiter.
very special place for a Birthday celebration!
I have been a number of times. For some reason the service this time was disappointing- we had to wait half an hour for our table, then they squeezed a table in for us.... Service during dinner was slow and not up to par.
Very enjoyable food and experience.
Spago’s isn’t as good as it used to be...
Yummy food. Great for special occasion
The absolute best overall dining experience in LA!!
Wow! Spago is an institution in LA dining. Still, it exceeds its well earned reputation. Simply excellent in every regard. Wolfgang Puck was on hand as well. Great place to enjoy a true evening out dining.
Setting was perfect-beautiful evening and wonderful atmosphere
Antencion, comida, y ambiente perfecto!
Spago has always been amazing in the past, but this last visit the food was boring and forgettable. Almost all of it was nicely prepared - and the bread basket is still totally dreamy - but when the dining scene include bold heavy hitters like Here’s Looking At You or Cassia, this menu feels staid and dates. Plus, the Jidori chicken was legitimately underseasoned. For the price, I couldn’t recommend Spago anymore in good faith.
Excellent experience. Very personalized experience, with a visit from Wolfgang himself. 1st class experience, all the way.
The place is amazing cool, always selective crowd, fancy and popular. We’ve got a table close to the fire so it was an amazing cozy night. Food is good, service is excellent. Every time I return with pleasure
Spago is an iconic restaurant destination in Los Angeles. There are not so many other places where you will find and feel the exclusivity of the place, plus the very good chance to bump into a Hollywood celebrity in there.
The service is really great, you feel the VIP attention and the thoughtfulness of the staff and attention to details.
Food is good. Not as good as the ambiance and what you would expect from the reputation of the restaurant. If you are looking for a great food taste it will most likely not wow you... Still, it's worth doing it at least once in your lifetime.
Enjoyed the lunch.
We had an incredible time. The staff was amazing and the food was out of this world.
Simply amazing... always. This is an eternal classic exceeding expectations constantly.
Unreal loved it
Wonderful! Hope to see you again soon!
Everything was incredible.
Thank you for the great review!
I would not recommend if a party of two as you are always seated in the back banquet next to the kitchen. They never are willing to accommodate on the terrace.
The quality of the food is impeccable. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The food was truly delicious.
Fantastic! So great to hear! Come see us again soon!
Julie, we hope that is her name, is the most amazing server in the Western Hemisphere. She’s extremely smiley, professional, and kind. Thanks for creating a memorable Mother’s Day dinner! We want to give our experience 6 stars but they only allow 5. Thanks!
Amazing! We're thrilled to hear you had such a good time with us and can't wait to see you again soon!
It's a place to have been. Great fun. Incredible service and the food did not disappoint.
The value was a bit out of whack - I had purchased four seats at their special Mother's Day celebration and, after taxes + tip, about $900. Yes, it's pricey. I also didn't expect to pay an extra $300 for a couple sparkling Rosé's and coffee's, but the event was unforgettable, which was what I was going for for my wife.
One more point...the dishwashing was poor. We had a dirty coffee cup, a glass and some silverware presented, which was a surprise.
Spago has a good reputation in Beverly Hills for many years. The food was good but not outstanding. The first place we were offered to sit was weird and we refused. After 20 more minutes we were seated in the "patio" which has gas heaters and movable roof. I felt a cold draft which I did not appreciate. The heaters helped but not pleasant. The wine list is outstanding but you need to rob a bank before you order it. Just too expensive for a nice dinner (and I mean expensive, thousands of dollars!) Next time I will ask to be in the main dining hall.
Best Mel ever. Travis was awesome.
