love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. Everyone loved the food. Service was well-timed and friendly.
I loved our server! And the food was amazing! I would definitely recommend for any occasion!
Seating was by the entrance! Service took forever due to our waitress having a large party and many tables. Asked for vegetarian and got meat sauce. Waitress was absolutely apologetic and even called the manager who was also very nice and took care of my meal.
Just a disappointment meal on NYE!
Eating at a table inside the trolley car is unique.
Great service. Friendly waiter. New menu items were delicious!!
We were celebrating my fiancé’s birthday as this was a place he used to frequent when he was a child but the server was a bit awkward, even though the items we ordered came with salad he never asked nor mentioned them, he brought our dinner and I asked if the salad was included? He replied: “ do you want a salad?” I said yes as that was one of the reason why I chose that item, he brought the check and was literally standing next to me waiting for it, I felt uncomfortable as I was being able to review it or anything
Food was cold and super slow to be delivered. Also, expensive for what was received.
Service and food were both outstanding, highly recommend
Our visit was awesome! We had a great time. There was a big party and our waiter, I think, Jeran Ray was his name, he was such a fabulous waiter. He had such a great voice and the ladies at the table kept wanting him to speak to them so they could just hear his voice. He was such a great sport and gave us great service. The food was the best I have eaten in a long time. Thank you Spaghetti Warehouse for a great evening.
Our server was so nice!! He was on top of things and helped with the menu. Very nice man!
The chicken dish we had was great as well as lasagna
Really loved this place! My first time there, and our server was TOP NOTCH! She was very attentive to make sure we had everything we needed, and very very polite. I can't rate how awesome The Spaghetti Warehouse is...and recommend this to anyone looking for a good Italian lunch or dinner. We had the Lasagne, and it was THE BEST we've had in a very long time.
My birthday costume dinner was great!! My waiter made everything go smoothly and quickly!!
Service was extremely poor.
The food was great but the service was terrible. Very slow bringing drinks and without asking brought salads with Italian dressing piled on top. I cannot eat that type of dressing because of acid reflux. I made her get me a salad with the dressing of my choice but on the side. She came back with tons salad dressing all over the top. Did not refill our drinks before we left.
I have gone to Spaghetti Warehouse for many years. The food is always great. I hate the fact that they only have the one location in Dallas, TX. I would visit more often if they would have left the one in Plano, TX open.
Decent food. Good service. The only down side is that we were there for my sons 18th birthday and the brought him ice cream and sang Happy Birthday. He took a bite of the ice cream only to find out that it was pistachio ice cream and he is allergic to tree nuts. It would have been nice to get a heads up as to the type of ice cream they were bringing.
Overall it was ok! Servers were on their phones, the place was kind of ran down (bathrooms were filthy, doors were jammed, the ceiling was falling apart, it was a mess)
I cleaned so much dirt off of the changing table that I didn’t even change my daughter on it, I preferred my lap. The food was decent! They give a pretty generous amount and it was pretty tasty! But the tables were sticky and gross. The high chair was sticky and gross. I love what they are going for with the decor, but maybe a new building and better management would make this place a hit! It was a place that’s hard to hate but hard to love too. Bittersweet if you ask me! Overall, 3 stars.
Absolutely hated the guy who came around to our table who took pictures of us and later tried sell us the photos. He gave this big long story how he came to the U.S. from Nigeria blah blah. We’re there to relax not to hear a sales pitch! Never going back!
Terrible service, spilled drinks, spilled (and cold!) soup, incorrect and in two cases inedible entrees, and no rhyme or reason to the order items show up. Everyone except the poor manager seems to have given up on this tired and shabby establishment.
We made a reservation for my daughters 8th birthday, but no one acknowledged our reservation or my daughter’s birthday. The restaurant needs a makeover badly. It’s so dated and smells awful. The restroom floors were so sticky I thought I might lose a shoe. Incredibly, the food was wonderful and we had a great server.
Love this place! It’s a must-do location whenever I visit Texas.
Our waitress, Raykeshia, was phenomenal. The service she provided was excellent. She was smiling, patient, & kind to our two small(loud) children. The meatballs are good & the lasagna is delicious. We were celebrating our son's birthday & he got a birthday song with an icecream sundae from the staff. This restaurant is located in a very old building downtown, so when you first walk in you're going to smell some strange odors(we smelled the same thing at other restaurants downtown, to be fair). We got used to the smell, but some people may be turned off by it. Our entire group was pleased with their dinner & drinks. The food is reasonably priced & almost all of the waitstaff were friendly even though we weren't "their" table of customers. There is a cool train car in the back dining room that diners can sit in if they have 4 or less in their party.
I had dinner with my grandmother. I was nervous when we first got there because of the loud rock music playing in the bar but I was relieved when we went back to the restaurant area. The atmosphere was relaxed, quiet, and slow music was playing. The was super yummy, we both had the Turin Trio and the waiter recommended a lemon dessert. Our waiter was very nice and courteous. I would definitely recommend Spaghetti Warehouse. :)
Good solid dinner. Enjoyed the 2 for $25. Service by Tanika? was excellent.
We were seated in the old cable car and at the time were the only ones, just the two of us, the rest of the dining room was mostly open, it was great.
Then, A loud family was seated right behind us, one loud woman and three loud juvenile children. WHY?
Why would you stack patrons right on top of each other when it wasn't necessary?
Why put a family right next to a couple?
Our server was admittedly new and obviously overextended to the point we were left to wondering what was going on.
We ordered a dessert from the menu that was on the table only to learn that item hadn't been available in a while. So, how long had that menu been there?
My first experience w/Spaghetti Warehouse was roughly 35 years ago and my husband and I ate there all the time. As we had our kids we continued to go back. It was always packed and it was rare for anything to be wrong with our meals. I realize that with time things change, however I believe time has really turned into Spaghetti Warehouses enemy. I would love to see you go back to the food quality you gave so many years ago. Maybe it's the chef's and how they are preparing the food. My daughter and I ordered the Chicken Parmesan. Both of ours were over cooked to where they seemed to be on the burned side. I asked for Meat sauce on the pasta and it was served with tomato sauce. The waiter served it and said let me bring you more meat sauce there isn't enough meat in this...…..really? like there was no meat at all. We came in at 11 when you opened. It was not packed or that busy in the area where we were seated......there one more than one waiter in that area......yet our waiter did not have very attentive skills. He brought out one of the salads with the wrong dressing. He took it back but never brought the correct salad back. By the time be came back and I pointed it out the main course was served and my son in law said he didn't want it at that point. He only did a drink refill for my dad which was I was happy he brought him one but he didn't bring anyone else one. Also when the waiter came around if we asked for one thing he disappeared before we could say anything else.........was very frustrating! I could have understood this had he had a bunch of tables to serve, however he only had 2 tables of 4 to take care of. My family and I were very disappointed. I would love to see things change/improve like the way it was so many years ago. I would love to see you all succeed and be great once again!
It has been a number of years since I have been here. We had reservations but they sat us in the bar that was noisy. In addition, there were people playing pool next to us. The facility was dirty, the service was poor, and the food was marginal. This is the last time I will go back.
This place was gross. The carpet was at least 30 years old and stained and the facility was extremely dated. I would never recommend this place yo anyone. I ordered a sangria and I am pretty sure it was cranberry juice.
Went for a birthday dinner! Was super quiet and our waitress was amazing! Such a good day.
Several patrons decided not to stay because the restaurant was uncomfortably warm.
Tamara was such a great waitress. She’s really made my daughters high school graduation special. Thabks so much.
The experience did not start out great as the hostess was very confused that we had a reservation. The restaurant was not very busy. Once we were sat, the waitress did a great job to start, but the service went downhill quickly. She was slow to refill drinks, totally forgot our appetizer order and was just generally intermittent about checking in with us.
The food was okay but the fettuccini was served lukewarm. Generous portions. I liked that they offered a complimentary postcard photo but it was cheesy that they were selling photos and did like 6 different shots. One photo would have been fine. It was disruptive to the dinner.
The food was good, not great. The bread is awesome. The service was just okay. The restrooms need to be remodeled. There was a water leak from the commode in the men’s room, too. Left me with a gross feeling. I wasn’t that impressed with the overall experience but I Hi! This is Darin, your Lyft driver. I’m on my way to pick you up now. Can you please confirm your pickup location? Give it another chance someday. It’s time to remodel the inside.
Amazing, everyone had a lot of fun I had a
big party and everything went smoothly. Nice place for dinner.
Could update the place
The chicken that came with my chicken parmigiana was burnt, I didn’t complain because my family was already giving the waitress a hard time. I live in Keller so the almost hour drive was definitely not worth it, will not be back to this location.
A real shame that they are closing the original building. They will never catch the ambiance at a new location. They have tried before and they all closed.
