Spaghetti Warehouse - Akron
Service was ok. We had to request our used salad plates to be removed from the table and we had to request drink refills.
Food took a long time to come. It was ok. Two members of our party ordered manicotti and it was so hard they needed to use a knife to cut it.
Online reservation was quick and easy to make.
Wonderful dining experience! Our server was very attentive and you cannot beat the Warehouse Wednesday deals... $5.99 dinner! One of our favorite family restaurants to dine at.
Sadly I must say I was disappointed with the food at the Spaghetti Warehouse. The meatballs were very bland...almost like they were purely ground beef with no flavoring. My son had shrimp alfredo dish and the cheese sauce was also very poorly flavored with a poor consistency (not creamy at all!!) The spaghetti sauce was overly sweet tasting.
Our service was also lacking. We had a very small table and the dishes were not cleared away to make space. (We actually sat some of our empty salad plates and our bread plates on an empty serving tray nearby.)
The beverages were incredibly over priced!! My husband ordered a simple vodka-lemon water drink and we were charged $10! Our pop/iced tea drinks were $2.70 each!! I was astonished.
The waiting area's game tables were very loud and were disruptive to our conversation.
I just couldn't believe what a poor experience we had. It seems so very different from the last time I ate at a Spaghetti Warehouse a few years ago in Columbus. :-(
Sorry to say, but we won't be back.
The food was good....calamari wasnt that good. Waiter could of been better!
Bad service Music was way too loud you’re going to hear somebody talking for you the server on a camera on when you actually used your hand to get his attention the bathroom is looking nasty Don’t recommend this to a friend to go here
We gathered at your establishment for a family dinner. The service was spot on very courteous and professional. We also had a waiter in training and she was very pleasant, helpful, and attentive. Our food entres were delicious and fulfilling. If you choose a pasta dish, the sauce is a little on the sweet side. My preference is on the spicier Arrabbiata side. Any leftovers were just as delicious the next day. We will definitely come back to enjoy your services again.
My chicken parm was a bit grisly and chewy; it was a birthday but even though I put it in the reservation, that was not acknowledged. However others very much enyoyed their food and the atmostphere is fun to take children.
Accommodated a large party for my son's 3rd birthday. Everyone was very friendly, service was good and no long waits, and server was very patient and professional! Charming atmosphere, fun for a Friday night dinner or for a party!
Very slow service on a not very busy afternoon. Food was decent if slightly overpriced.
Everybody was very friendly and attentive. Our Server was great! The food was awesome! What else can I say, I can't wait to come back!
Great service and delicious food!! From my 2 year old granddaughter to my 82 year old mother, we all had a wonderful time. My mother chose Spaghetti Warehouse for her birthday dinner and now I can hardly wait to go back again!
Wonderful, service was good and food delicious
Had a birthday party for my uncle. Made reservations on open table but had to add someone a few days later so I called them and added one making sure they knew I had a reservation from open table. The morning of I had to once again call and add 4 people and I again verified I had an open table reservation and what the total amount of people should be. Once we arrived we were short 4 seats and the one staff member whom I’m guessing was a manager of some kind had a fit when a waiter added a table at the end of ours to meet our needs. They still need a little work on their reservations.
The food and service was as good as it always is! We love coming here when we want great Italian food.
Arrived at 5:15, very few tables full.Waited over an hour for our food, hair in the dip. Actually had to ask for a lime slice for my mule???Said the kitchen was backed up.....several people who arrived later received their food. Mychicken park looked like it had been sitting awile. They took the apps off the bill after we asked. Had to ask! No reason for us to rush and barely make a 7:30 show at the Civic with 5:15 reservations. I made reservations early because I have had slow service before, two strikes, you are out.
We came to The Spaghetti Warehouse for dinner before a show at the Civic Theater. We made reservations for 6:30, but were not seated for another fifteen minutes, despite tables, including the one we were eventually seated at, being open. Our server came to our table, got us our drinks, took our orders, and our food came out about 30 minutes later, making us nervous that we would be cutting things close for the show. We asked for the check with our food, but then our server did not come back for a while to take it. This probably wasn’t due to oversight so much as how busy he was- he appeared to be working several sections. Several people around us were having the same experience- seated late after reservations and one family had not even received their food despite being seated and ordering before us.
The food was decently good, but the subpar service will make me think twice about going back.
We had reservations at 6 and were seated right away. The waiter service was terrible. He took over 10 minutes to bring Parmesan cheese and when we asked for refills on our drinks he took 25 minutes to get them; by that time we were ready to leave. The salad was blah (iceberg lettuce, some brown pieces, one ring of onion and a small slice of tomato). My lasagna was dry, cheeseless, and tasted like it was at least a day old and warmed in the microwave. The chicken Alfredo didn’t have much flavor and the chicken had a “not done” texture, so my daughter in law didn’t eat it. Getting and paying our bill was another 20 minute fiasco. The 2 stars are for the quick seating and the overall ambiance of the restaurant. One star for the actual service is generous. Highly disappointed. :(
The server was not well spoken, the service was horrible, empty glasses sat on the table for most of the dinner, the food was subpar. Such a disappointing experience for our first time
We had 12 people and the service/food was excellent. Great for Large parties.
The server was the worst I had in a long time anywhere. Like she ignore us, we had to repeatly ask and re-ask for things before we got it, refills didn't happen - I will NEVER go back!!
The restaurant closed Early (obviously due to weather)- failed to let us know.
Whole family showed up to a closed restaurant.
Understandable WHY they closed, however a heads up would’ve been nice.
Celebrated my daughters birthday. Server was over the top friendly and sweet to my daughter.
He brought her a Virgin Dacquri for her birthday, even though she turned 21. She didn't want any alcohol. He then brought her a chocolate cupcake with a candle. The restaurant was very quiet with only a few customers, so the attention he gave to us was phenomenal.
Made reservation , ready on time. However had us sitting were the use of stairs was necessary. Having three people in party with walking problems . They relocated our table to the farthest table from entrance and restrooms as possible. Did not offer a closer table.
Good food for a reasonable price. Table for 8 was a folding table.
We had a business lunch for 8 people. Each person enjoyed his/her lunch and dessert. Environment was great for conversation for us to talk without needing to raise our voices to be heard. Our waitress was very attentive and very friendly.
They did not have our open table reservation when we arrived, even though I had an email confirmation to show them.
They put us off in the back, at two round tables pushed together when there were tons of open tables. We were only a party of 8. Chicken parmigiana was brunt, shrimp Alfredo was clumpy, lasagna was small, hidden under tons of sauce. They didn’t even acknowledge my daughters birthday. Service was very slow.
Was very displeased with the staff greeting. They told me I had no reservation listed for our partying, and was rude as I stood there with my father( who has recently had a stroke) I explained to them that it was ok, and to just put my name in, that I needed to seat my father on the bench. They rolled their eyes and it just made me uneasy. I have never had that happen before....and I have seen it much more hectic. On the other hand our waiter was FANTASTIC. He catered to our large group and the needs of my Father.
We will go back, I just hope the " greeting" team can improve their smiles.....
Our visit to Spaghetti Warehouse was average at best.
We had a reservation, but was given a tiny little table in a back corner. We were uncomfortable and did not fit into the booth. We are all tall people and we couldn't even get our legs underneath the table. The booth stuck out longer than the table and we literally were sitting on top of each other.
The food was barely warm.
The one bright spot was our waiter. He was "on it." He was attentive and did a great job.
Very disappointed for the price.
Delicious food and friendly staff! We will definitely be back!
They did not have the sauce we ordered, the food was just ok, and there was no wow factor. Not a place I would return to. Not the same as I remembered it to be.
Lots of space for groups. Fun things to look at and a mini arcade for kids' entertainment.
Very good and affordable Italian.
Don't live in the area but stop there when around
Waa an okay visit. Nothing great to report, food wasn't very warm. We made a reservation and they couldn't find the reservation. Waitress seemed busy and diatracted. Food waa priced ok.
Always good food! Great service. Lots of interesting things to look at.
My family came to celebrate my moms birthday. The food was horrible. I sent my food back. The rest of my party took the rest of the food home. I have been to the spaghetti warehouse in Columbus and their food is top notch. The pasta lacked season and was boy cooked all the way. The website said unlimited salad and bread but we each got one salad and the server only placed two places of bread on the table. The server was the best thing about this experience. I saw the reviews about how the food wasn't that good. I decided to take a chance..never again
Great evening at the Spaghetti Warehouse-Akron, we had a large party, and everything about the evening was flawless, the food was delicious, the service was fast and attentive, the atmosphere is very nice, the decor certainly says Akron all the way. While not the quietest place, the noise level was perfect since we were a large group and were not exactly quiet either. All of our attendees had a blast, thank you for a great evening at the SW.
Great food and service. This was a great place to have dinner.
Our waiter Christian was great! Lasagna and meatballs were delish! Can’t wait to come back!!
This place has gone downhill over the years. It was stinky, filthy and everything was sticky. The service was slow, food was terrible and overpriced. Took forever to get our bill. Requests were forgotten about. We will not be returning. Total disappointment.
