Spaghetti Warehouse - Akron
We had an awesome server taking care of our large party. The food was great… it exceeded our expectations!
Had 6:00 reservations but weren’t seated until 6:45. Almost missed our next event. Other than that- service and food were good.
They were very busy but the service was still excellent, enjoyed our food. Had to ask for knives and a filled salt shaker but otherwise would definitely recommend and go back.
The food was good, but the service was poor. The hostess was lovely, but once I was seated I waited and nobody came by to greet me and give me water and bread. Finally the hostess came back over and tracked my server down. That wasn’t too big a deal, but then my server dropped off both my food and the bill and said that if I wanted dessert she’d buy it. I gave her my card and said that I did want dessert, so she brought me my dessert in a box and a box for the dinner I had only just gotten and told me to have a good night. I do not appreciate being rushed and dismissed. I don’t know if they wanted my table for other guests or if my server was just done with me, but I was not able to sit and enjoy my meal and dessert. For what it’s worth, both the hostess and the other server on duty that night were wonderful and it looked like those in other sections were getting awesome service.
I have always enjoyed SW, but my last visit was a different experience than usual. I'm sure it's due to low staff levels as a result of COVID like most companies are seeing right now. I had a reservation on a Tuesday at 5:45pm to ensure we would have a table and be able to leave by 7 for an event. I arrived 5 minutes late which is my fault completely. However, it took almost 10 minutes to even be approached to be seated. Once seated it took almost 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us. When we were finally approached by a server there was no apology for the wait. We were just asked if we were ready to order. The food took about 45 minutes and the restaurant was fairly empty. When we received the food it was varying in temperatures from cold to slightly warm. My daughter and I took a few bites and had to take the rest to go as we were going to be late for our event at 7:30. The food tasted good except for the temperature. The server was very nice during any interactions but was not attentive. We chose the restaurant due to location, but I'm not sure we will go again anytime soon.
Went to Spaghetti Warehouse on November 28 after taking our grandkids to see The Nutcracker at The Civic Theatre. I was disappointed the big Christmas tree was not up yet. I had seen it previous years and had told them about it. However, they still enjoyed the restaurant’s decor and the kids menu was perfect for them! The lasagna is wonderful, and the GL’s Christmas Ale was on tap for the adults!
When we arrived we were told our server would be delayed due to a large party being served and being short staffed. Within a few minutes our server showed up, got our drink orders and was very nice and energetic. She did inform us she was going to have a party coming in at 7pm, so asked if she would mind if we could order and have everything taken care of before her party came in. She agreed, got our order and delivered it quickly. The food was delicious, the server was probably one of the best I have had in a long time.
The food was wonderful. FYI pasta dishes come swimming in sauce so if you do not like that you should ask for light sauce or for it on the side. Fun dining atmosphere.
Great time. Thoroughly enjoyed our time. Love this place
Quick and courteous service. Great food, big portions. Highly recommend!!
We were warned there may be a wait as they were “short staffed”, however we were seated very quickly. The building itself offered plenty of things to check out from games at the entrance to old advertisements on the walls. Once seated, our server was on top of it with our drinks and food! Speaking of the food, both my wife and I really enjoyed our meals. We would definitely eat here again if we were in town! Overall, we had a great experience.
It was hot, there were flies, the food was not good and the bathrooms were so dirty.
We have been to Spaghetti Warehouse several times in the past all with great experiences. This is the first time I made a reservation on open table and no one knew what it was. The staff seemed very new and not trained well. Our server seemed very over whelmed on dealing with three tables in the trivia section and the place was very empty when we left around 8PM. Overall I was very upset by our recent visit here. We will not be returning for quite some time.
Becky was an amazing waitress and really made our experience outstanding!
We made reservations and it kept telling us that only so many tables were available. When we got there, there was only 2 or 3 other tables of people in there so reservations were not needed and we could have changed our time like we wanted to. I think this app needs to re-evaluate how it books. The menu is much smaller but the food was still excellent and our server was fantastic.
We use to love this restaurant but things have drastically gone downhill ! VERY small menu, not clean , pasta dry and old ! Will not return
Very limited menu. Food was just eh. Service was fine, but didn’t make up for mediocre food.
I’ve been here several times and always had a great experience. Today was very disappointing. The menu is very small. The dishes were dirty and the food was warm not hot. The taste was delicious and the family value meal was a great value. If this were my first dining experience I would not return. I’m guessing that COVID has impacted this restaurant, but I’ve seen many others make it work.
Lasagna was good as well as the spaghetti and meatballs. The bread served with the meal could have been a bit more fresh and more flavor.
The restaurant was absolutely packed (it was the day before Mothers Day) but they did a very good job of getting food out. Our waitress was very attentive and did a great job checking on us.
Food was cold!!!!!!!
Very good time
Indicated in Open Table we were celebrating a 91st birthday. Spaghetti Warehouse never acknowledged it. We had to ask for plates. Cobwebs in the posts of the metal structure we were seated in. Server dropped off to-go boxes halfway through the meal, before we were even finished. Used to love this place, especially the little cake they give you for your Birthday. It’s really gone downhill.
Excellent food and service! Good prices too.
Birthday dinner with spouse. New-hire server but very attentive and helpful. Food was excellent. Only a few people in restaurant while we were there.
Some updating is being done, apparently, because there is no carpet on the floor and there always has been, and one of the party rooms is being worked on. The food and service are still great.
Great food with large portions. Our server was beyond amazing. Unique atmosphere completed a perfect night out! One of the cleanest restaurants I’ve eaten in and I eat out a lot!
We had a reservation so, obviously, the restaurant knew we were coming. Our waiter took a very long time to take our order. Once our food was finally brought to the table he did not return to refill drinks or cheese nor did he bring plates for our family that ordered the feast (to share). They had to eat off of their used bread plates. One of our members had nothing at all to drink with his dinner and the rest of us sipped on melted ice in our cups. One of our members finally found the waiter and his response was “We’re short staffed. I had another table”. The service was inexcusable. We approached the manager on the way out whose response was “I’ll speak to him”. There was no urgency by anyone to fix the problem or to acknowledge there was a problem. The restaurant was not even busy. We won’t be back.
This restaurant is taking the necessary precautions to make diners feel safe during COVID-19. Our server was amazing, the food was great, and the service was outstanding. The menu seemed limited compared to other Spaghetti Warehouses but it was fine.
Our server had a trainee and between the two of them it seems as if there was always someone nearby checking on us. The server was very informative. The food was as great as it always is which is why we make the trek from Cleveland to Akron several times a year just to have dinner here.
I forgot how great this place was! It’s worth a visit! I was impressed!
Portions were small. Floors & bathroom were dirty.
We went for my niece’s 18th birthday and we had a great time! We had an awesome server and the food was amazing and we felt that the prices were good. We will definitely be going back!
My kids love eating inside the trolley car and the waitress offered it to us. Many kids also like spaghetti at least mine do. The salad is Olive Garden quality. All of the servers and waitresses were wearing masks and stood a little bit away from the table, within reason. I will come back again soon
Arrived to a very limited menu due to Covid, so that was a disappointment. The food was good, but not worth the 2 hour drive to get there.
Cocktail was good. Limited menu due to pandemic, which is fine. But food tasted like it was microwaved and was barely warm. Cheese on my chili wouldn't even melt because it wasn't warm.
It wasn't crowded at all at 7PM on a Saturday evening but that was okay right now. The service was just okay but the food was good. Distancing was good.
Food was reasonably priced and atmosphere is pretty cool. Service was slow and not very friendly. I expected more on that front. I’d try one more time but if service is that poor on a normal basis the other stuff isn’t so great that I would consider going back.
