Spaghetti Warehouse - Akron
Cold soup — twice.
One of my favorite restaurants. Chicken Parmigiana was excellent. Never disappointed.
Service was awful. It took another waiter to notice that our drinks were empty. My wife asked for additional sauce and it never came to the table until we were ready to leave. My spaghetti was terrible and the meatballs were hard as rocks. We have been to this location before and had fantastic meals. It appears that they are going down hill.
The food was ok. But the waiter was not very pleasant. Too loud to conduct a meeting during lunch.
Our serve, Dylan?, was excellent. Attentive to our time constraints and very friendly.
Had a very nice meal the night before the Goodyear half marathon. The service was prompt and my server was excellent. Plenty of parking adjacent to the restaurant. If you're looking for a nice italian meal in Akron, I highly recommend this restaurant.
Good value for Italian food, nice atmosphere, great free parking
Overall experience was excellent! We knew 4 other people were going so we made appointment at same time! They were willing to change our appointment so all of us could eat at same table! Everyone loved the food and experience!
It was convenient to eat here and then go to canal park. Waitress was awesome. Food? It was ok. Thought the sauce was a little runny but good flavor.
This was supposed to be a good date for me and my boyfriend and I remember going here as a child. I can tell you right now the food was nasty and I feel like the server didn't care or did the cooks of what they put out to their customers. I am a cook and a server and I would have never put out the food this place did. I'm so disappointed in the food. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!!
Great time... alfredo sauce a little salty but overall a 10
Americanized "Italian" food was of mediocre quality. The prices were very high for the mediocre quality of food. Large group so we appreciated the efforts of our young waitress. Ended up being overcharged by $14 on a $180 tab and didn't realize until we were home, so that was very frustrating. Chicken parmigiana was tough - very disappointed. So many pasta/sauce choices, but few offered a meatless option so for the vegetarians in the group there were few menu choices. We were excited for the 15 layer lasagne, but offered only with meat. BUMMER! Our group is not comprised of super picky eaters or "quality-snobs", but of our easily pacified group (some college kids and younger children) even they felt ho-hum about the food. Ambiance is very cool - rail car was fun. Not from Akron, but came specifically for this restaurant. With high prices for pasta/sauce/chicken and disappointing quality, we won't go out of our way again for this place.
Columbus Warehouse is 100% better. Felt like theybtook everyone that walked in and put them in the same area, felt like a fosh bowl. Best part of the evening was the balloon lady. Service was slow and everone looked unhappy to be there.
Had a great birthday experience for my 12 year old grandson visiting from Oklahoma City. Balloon lady was amazing!!
It was the first time eating at the spaghetti warehouse and I thought the food was very good. The wedding soup was really really good! Having said that the server was lousy. He was impatient and would not let us have the soup instead of salad because he said it was the policy with big party. We had to speak to the manager just to get soup. I would go again but would request a different server if we had that one again.
Service was horrible & this was my 1st time there & my birthday! A group of 4 of us apparently were not as important as a large group.
Jimmy was our waiter, very nice fellow. Good service, friendly, attentive. Delicious food and plenty of it. Party of 14!
This was our first time here and the food is sooooo delicious! We had a great experience. Our server was nice and friendly but a bit slow. We had to wait a while for refills so another lady did our refills and then it took a while to pay our bill when we were finished. It's safe to say they were pretty busy so I give her credit for that. We will definitely be returning.
The Warehouse easily accommodated our group and were set up and ready for us when we arrived. The server was attentive without being invasive and quickly and accurately took our orders when we were ready. The food arrived promptly and was excellent. The checks were brought over at an appropriate time and were processed quickly. We weren't rushed out the door and everyone in the group remarked favorably on the whole dining experience.
My wife and I had a concert in the area so we booked a table here. It was a Saturday night at 5:30 and it didn’t seem that the reservation had been necessary. Our server was polite but was not very good. He didn’t know what beer they had on tap so my wife asked if he knew if they had Blue Moon on tap. He said they did. He then brought our soup before bringing the drinks and said that he forgot about them. He then brought them and the beer was in a bottle. Not a huge deal. My wife ordered the chicken parm and I ordered the lasagna. Both were very good. The waiter asked if I wanted Parmesan cheese and I said yes. He took 10 minutes to bring it and said he had trouble finding it. Maybe he was new. Anyway, place didn’t seem busy, ambiance was neat (not fancy by any means), service could be better, and food was good.
Great food and wonderful place to eat. Waitress was great and got to eat in dining car for sister in laws birthday. She loved it as it was her first time. She wants to come back soon.
The wait staff is very personable and responsive. Never have to wait for anything. The atmosphere is fun and there is plenty of room for everyone!
First time dining here and I will probably not go back. Three in our party ordered soup that came out cold, and when it came back was still not hot. Hamburgers were supposed to come with chips but were told after food arrived at table that they were out of chips, really? Why not offer another side when we were ordering? The staff was very friendly and food came out quickly but it just wasn't enough to make me want to come back.
Service was a little slow but I think that maybe they needed more people working and our group was in a room of of the main room and this is good for privacy but bad because sometimes they forget you.
Our server was very friendly, but not proactive (drink refills, etc.), but may have been a staffing issue. Freshly baked bread & butter was delicious, but took way too long to bring to table. Same with the drinks and salads. And we did have reservations. Several people ordered burgers, but disappointed bc restaurant doesn't cook to order, so overcooked. And only put 2 tiny pieces of pepperoni on burgers. Prefer spicy sauce & angel hair, but didn't see that as an option on the menu, but in fairness, I didn't ask if that was an option. Overall, however, a fun place to go. Neat atmosphere.
Service was ok. We had to request our used salad plates to be removed from the table and we had to request drink refills.
Food took a long time to come. It was ok. Two members of our party ordered manicotti and it was so hard they needed to use a knife to cut it.
Online reservation was quick and easy to make.
love this place, if you go away hungry that's your fault!!!!!
Wonderful dining experience! Our server was very attentive and you cannot beat the Warehouse Wednesday deals... $5.99 dinner! One of our favorite family restaurants to dine at.
Sadly I must say I was disappointed with the food at the Spaghetti Warehouse. The meatballs were very bland...almost like they were purely ground beef with no flavoring. My son had shrimp alfredo dish and the cheese sauce was also very poorly flavored with a poor consistency (not creamy at all!!) The spaghetti sauce was overly sweet tasting.
Our service was also lacking. We had a very small table and the dishes were not cleared away to make space. (We actually sat some of our empty salad plates and our bread plates on an empty serving tray nearby.)
The beverages were incredibly over priced!! My husband ordered a simple vodka-lemon water drink and we were charged $10! Our pop/iced tea drinks were $2.70 each!! I was astonished.
The waiting area's game tables were very loud and were disruptive to our conversation.
I just couldn't believe what a poor experience we had. It seems so very different from the last time I ate at a Spaghetti Warehouse a few years ago in Columbus. :-(
Sorry to say, but we won't be back.
The food was good....calamari wasnt that good. Waiter could of been better!
Bad service Music was way too loud you’re going to hear somebody talking for you the server on a camera on when you actually used your hand to get his attention the bathroom is looking nasty Don’t recommend this to a friend to go here
We gathered at your establishment for a family dinner. The service was spot on very courteous and professional. We also had a waiter in training and she was very pleasant, helpful, and attentive. Our food entres were delicious and fulfilling. If you choose a pasta dish, the sauce is a little on the sweet side. My preference is on the spicier Arrabbiata side. Any leftovers were just as delicious the next day. We will definitely come back to enjoy your services again.
My chicken parm was a bit grisly and chewy; it was a birthday but even though I put it in the reservation, that was not acknowledged. However others very much enyoyed their food and the atmostphere is fun to take children.
Accommodated a large party for my son's 3rd birthday. Everyone was very friendly, service was good and no long waits, and server was very patient and professional! Charming atmosphere, fun for a Friday night dinner or for a party!
Very slow service on a not very busy afternoon. Food was decent if slightly overpriced.
Everybody was very friendly and attentive. Our Server was great! The food was awesome! What else can I say, I can't wait to come back!
Great service and delicious food!! From my 2 year old granddaughter to my 82 year old mother, we all had a wonderful time. My mother chose Spaghetti Warehouse for her birthday dinner and now I can hardly wait to go back again!
Wonderful, service was good and food delicious
Had a birthday party for my uncle. Made reservations on open table but had to add someone a few days later so I called them and added one making sure they knew I had a reservation from open table. The morning of I had to once again call and add 4 people and I again verified I had an open table reservation and what the total amount of people should be. Once we arrived we were short 4 seats and the one staff member whom I’m guessing was a manager of some kind had a fit when a waiter added a table at the end of ours to meet our needs. They still need a little work on their reservations.
The food and service was as good as it always is! We love coming here when we want great Italian food.
