Spaghetti Warehouse - Akron
Creamy rich Alfredo made with Romano cheese and a hint of garlic
Calamari in a crisp, spicy breading with fresh marinara sauce for dipping
Excellent food and service! Good prices too.
Birthday dinner with spouse. New-hire server but very attentive and helpful. Food was excellent. Only a few people in restaurant while we were there.
Some updating is being done, apparently, because there is no carpet on the floor and there always has been, and one of the party rooms is being worked on. The food and service are still great.
Great food with large portions. Our server was beyond amazing. Unique atmosphere completed a perfect night out! One of the cleanest restaurants I’ve eaten in and I eat out a lot!
We had a reservation so, obviously, the restaurant knew we were coming. Our waiter took a very long time to take our order. Once our food was finally brought to the table he did not return to refill drinks or cheese nor did he bring plates for our family that ordered the feast (to share). They had to eat off of their used bread plates. One of our members had nothing at all to drink with his dinner and the rest of us sipped on melted ice in our cups. One of our members finally found the waiter and his response was “We’re short staffed. I had another table”. The service was inexcusable. We approached the manager on the way out whose response was “I’ll speak to him”. There was no urgency by anyone to fix the problem or to acknowledge there was a problem. The restaurant was not even busy. We won’t be back.
This restaurant is taking the necessary precautions to make diners feel safe during COVID-19. Our server was amazing, the food was great, and the service was outstanding. The menu seemed limited compared to other Spaghetti Warehouses but it was fine.
Our server had a trainee and between the two of them it seems as if there was always someone nearby checking on us. The server was very informative. The food was as great as it always is which is why we make the trek from Cleveland to Akron several times a year just to have dinner here.
I forgot how great this place was! It’s worth a visit! I was impressed!
Portions were small. Floors & bathroom were dirty.
We went for my niece’s 18th birthday and we had a great time! We had an awesome server and the food was amazing and we felt that the prices were good. We will definitely be going back!
My kids love eating inside the trolley car and the waitress offered it to us. Many kids also like spaghetti at least mine do. The salad is Olive Garden quality. All of the servers and waitresses were wearing masks and stood a little bit away from the table, within reason. I will come back again soon
Arrived to a very limited menu due to Covid, so that was a disappointment. The food was good, but not worth the 2 hour drive to get there.
Cocktail was good. Limited menu due to pandemic, which is fine. But food tasted like it was microwaved and was barely warm. Cheese on my chili wouldn't even melt because it wasn't warm.
It wasn't crowded at all at 7PM on a Saturday evening but that was okay right now. The service was just okay but the food was good. Distancing was good.
Food was reasonably priced and atmosphere is pretty cool. Service was slow and not very friendly. I expected more on that front. I’d try one more time but if service is that poor on a normal basis the other stuff isn’t so great that I would consider going back.
Good, not super busy when we were there even tho there was event happening downtown, would go again,
This was our first time here. Table of 6 on a Friday night service and food was excellent our server Andrew was a rockstar!
We had a very nice table, and our server was every efficient.
Came here for Valentine’s Day the chicken was under cooked and doughy bread.
The menu had VERY little gluten free choices . I asked server about gf food and he was unsure ,only pointing to one . I ordered a grilled chicken salad , my wife ordered a ravioli dish . it took 47 min for our dinners to arrive after 3 apologies from our server . my GF salad came with croutons WTF . $ 50.00 DAMN .
I took my uncle out for dinner there, and hoped it would be good but I was very disappointed. I ordered the 15 layer lasagna which was cold. I asked for it to be heated and they brought me a new piece. It was awful, the sauce had a terrible taste and it had almost no cheese. My friend ordered a burger and it was burnt on the bottom. She poked at it and didn't have much. My uncle ordered spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were hard and the spaghetti overcooked. The sauce again is terrible. The salad is iceberg lettuce and had no green, was mostly white and yellow. I will never go back and do not recommend it.
I would recommend it for a social gathering. Just to meet friends or family and have a drink or two. The staff was excellent, and the atmosphere was great! However, I wouldn’t serve the food to Riley!!! Riley is my sisters DOG!! Wow! It is bad! I would rather eat hospital food, or even nursing home food! Bad at all levels!! Peeps, ya’ll need to work on the food!!! You got everything else down pat, but the FOOD is what is going to keep SW open!! Get to work...
Excellent salad and bread!
Good food for a fair price. Kids enjoy all the things to look at.
Food was uncooked. Parts were close to frozen. They just took out frozen ravioli and heated a bit. Table covers were torn. This place used to be good, not anymore. Won’t ever go back
Cold soup — twice.
One of my favorite restaurants. Chicken Parmigiana was excellent. Never disappointed.
Service was awful. It took another waiter to notice that our drinks were empty. My wife asked for additional sauce and it never came to the table until we were ready to leave. My spaghetti was terrible and the meatballs were hard as rocks. We have been to this location before and had fantastic meals. It appears that they are going down hill.
The food was ok. But the waiter was not very pleasant. Too loud to conduct a meeting during lunch.
Our serve, Dylan?, was excellent. Attentive to our time constraints and very friendly.
Had a very nice meal the night before the Goodyear half marathon. The service was prompt and my server was excellent. Plenty of parking adjacent to the restaurant. If you're looking for a nice italian meal in Akron, I highly recommend this restaurant.
Good value for Italian food, nice atmosphere, great free parking
Overall experience was excellent! We knew 4 other people were going so we made appointment at same time! They were willing to change our appointment so all of us could eat at same table! Everyone loved the food and experience!
It was convenient to eat here and then go to canal park. Waitress was awesome. Food? It was ok. Thought the sauce was a little runny but good flavor.
This was supposed to be a good date for me and my boyfriend and I remember going here as a child. I can tell you right now the food was nasty and I feel like the server didn't care or did the cooks of what they put out to their customers. I am a cook and a server and I would have never put out the food this place did. I'm so disappointed in the food. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!!
Great time... alfredo sauce a little salty but overall a 10
Americanized "Italian" food was of mediocre quality. The prices were very high for the mediocre quality of food. Large group so we appreciated the efforts of our young waitress. Ended up being overcharged by $14 on a $180 tab and didn't realize until we were home, so that was very frustrating. Chicken parmigiana was tough - very disappointed. So many pasta/sauce choices, but few offered a meatless option so for the vegetarians in the group there were few menu choices. We were excited for the 15 layer lasagne, but offered only with meat. BUMMER! Our group is not comprised of super picky eaters or "quality-snobs", but of our easily pacified group (some college kids and younger children) even they felt ho-hum about the food. Ambiance is very cool - rail car was fun. Not from Akron, but came specifically for this restaurant. With high prices for pasta/sauce/chicken and disappointing quality, we won't go out of our way again for this place.
