Brilliant as always. Compared the pork and veal Osso Buco. Both amazing but how do you vote against veal atop truffle oil homemade pasta? The mashed Yukon’s under the pork were good, but give me baby cow raised unethically miserable and I’m delighted.
The couple that own the restaurant are charming and they hire people just as intoxicating.
Not your average restaurant.
Delicious food, nice atmosphere and great service. Prices I believe i believe are very good for high end food.
Our server was fantastic & the food was delicious.
Chef Henry never ceases to amaze me with his great cuisine . Just when I think it can't get any better it does. After all this time since I first tasted his food at a Wine tasting and to now in his very own fabulous restaurant he has proven his culinary skills are beyond compare. Thanks Henry and to your great staff.
This was our first time visiting this restaurant. We loved it from the minute we walked in. Our server (Tarin) was excellent. The other workers filling water and taking plate were polite. Loved the fact that the owner/chef went to each table. Absolutely loved everything we ordered. The coffee was delicious with our desserts.
We will definitely be back.
Food was a little heavy but overall very good. Very good ingredients. Lots of care went into everything. Great service. Some solids wines by the glass especially the Bell Syrah. Lighting in restaurant a little inconsistent but would go back.
The food and service are always great here. Impressive the way the servers can recite the specials, down to every ingredient. Especially when those specials usually include a couple appetizers, two soups, a handful of salads, 3-4 fish, and a couple meat dishes.
We had two 30 oz tomahawk rib chops and a filet and lobster. Everything was excellent.
Love the tomato puff pastry, the sauce will have you wanting to lick the plate clean.
Great wine list.
Always enjoy the experience great food and great service.
Great food and reasonable prices for a business lunch. Servers were quick and able to get us in/out within 50 minutes.
Food was spectacular as usual. We were in one of the semi-private dining areas and another part of eight came in and was extraordinarily loud (not the restaurant's fault). Other than that, all was superb.
I've been to Spaggi's half a dozen times over the past year and I've always enjoyed the experience. My latest visit was no exception to enjoying the meal, but it was the first time I ordered pasta (I usually order beef, lamb, or fish - all excellent). The pasta was, in my opinion, far too generous with the salt (something that could easily be added at the table, but can't be removed at the table), speaking for both the seafood past dish that my wife ordered and the lasagna that I ordered. I will certainly return, probably returning my focus on the proteins instead of the pasta.
Great food, service and environment (to name a few)
I enjoyed the Truffles filled with Wagyu Beef for appetizer, followed by Beef Wellington topped with Mushrooms and a Crab cake. It was superb.
This was a Valentines Day dinner. Many places offer a restricted menu. Spaggi’s had the full menu plus specials. Service was excellent. Food was the very high standard that we have come to expect from Spaggi’s. How nice to be seated on time and not rushed through the meal because they need the table. Spaggi’s does an excellent job of taking bookings so that you can enjoy the fine food at your leisure.
Love my 1st visit on this valentine night , food are very good, nice finding near Ontario area
Exceptional service & food each time we dine there, today's occasion was Valentine's Day. Our order included an appetizer of lobster bisque, entrees of South African Seabass & Lobster stuffed ravioli. The desert we selected was coconut & lemon cream cake.... Exceptional too. Thanks to all for another wonderful dining experience.
Wanted to try a different restaurant than the ones in our usual cycle. Went with an open mind and was pleasantly surprised. Went on a weekday so maybe not as busy as on a weekend. A couple of large parties but overall not very noisy. Had reservations and quickly seated. Appetizers (crabcakes, asiago potatoes, burrata special) were delicious. Had wedge and ribeye which was nicely done to a medium rare. Wife had a pasta dish which was pronounced superb. Had a couple desserts (pineapple upside down cake, creme brulee) which topped the meal off.
Service was little inattentive but overall not bad. Enjoyed our experience and found portion size to price was very reasonable. Will be back with family.
We've frequented Spaggi's for as long as Henry has had his restaurant -- now, well over 20 years. We've never been disappointed with the food or the service. Very highly recommend Spaggi's. Yes, it is in a strip mall, but once inside you won't notice. And, truly, every meal, every dining choice, has been wonderful, year after year after year.
I've been to Spaggi's on four occasions and never been let down. Great food every time. Not too expensive, but above average. Usually need reservations, but definitely on popular occasions.
Delicious everything. Appetizer, dinner and dessert. Cameron our waiter was first class. Thanks
I enjoy the atmosphere and the food. Even the bread is delicious - and the accompaning spread too. Always a delicious experience.
Great food and service!!!!!!! Our first visit but hopefully not our last.
Authentic, delicious Italian food and steaks in a quiet setting with great service. We had a wonderful time and delicious meal!
We took two friends to celebrate their birthdays.
Spaggi's is the restaurant you can always count on for great food and service.
Very average food. Nothing special
The restaurant is laocated in a rather unassuming strip mall. But don’t let appearances put you off: the food is excellent, as is the service, and the wine list is exceptional for such an intimate setting. We ate there to celebrate our 41st anniversary and were delighted with the entire evening, from salad to dessert and coffee.
Spaggi's has fabulous food and very generous portions. The service is excellent. It is a surprising find behind the Del Taco, not what you are expecting. We loved it. We had our granddaughter with us and they were so accommodating even though I wouldn't necessarily encourage you to bring children. We would definitely go back.
Spaggi's is a gem in Upland. Outstanding cuisine and extensive menu. Favorite dishes are San Dabs and save room for the chocolate souffle. The service is exceptional and atmosphere elegant without being fussy. Wonderful restaurant for special occasions or just a night out. Also great option for lunch.
We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday. My husband had lasagna. I had spaghetti frutti di mare and my daughter had Mac n cheese. Overall, we like our dinner meal. The price is kind of pricey but good ambiance.
We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We will go back again.
Excellent food and service always. Have dined here many times. Chef stops by each table to say hello & greet - nice touch!
Spaggi's provides a great semi-formal atmosphere in which to enjoy authentic Italian fare. The place was practically empty on the Tuesday evening I ate there, but it was a cold rainy evening and that could have been the cause. I enjoyed the delicious mushroom champagne soup that was featured that evening followed by their Osso Bucco. Both were excellent. The Ossobuco was fairly rich and served over house-made pasta. I was disappointed in their creme brulee that evening. The custard was a bit lumpy and not very flavorful. Diners hoping for a cocktail need to know that Spaggi serves only beer and wine, even though the menu lists some specialty cocktails. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would return in back in the area.
Food was the best we have enjoyed in years. Ambiance was perfect for a lovely date night. Will definitely be back for sure
Nice quiet ambience, go there and spend some time eating....get some wine, they have good collection!
Always a great meal. Chef Henry and his staff offer consistently great food and service. Know that anything you order will be excellent.
Again a dinner that did not disappoint. The special beet-quinoa-arugula salad was beautiful and a nicely-balanced sweet-pungent mix of flavors. Two items from the regular menu (salmon and chicken dora) were both excellent. Next time I'll ask for less of the glaze on the salmon -- much as I liked it I didn't need that much. The salmon was cooked just right -- hot but not cooked dry. The vegetables and potatoes were freshly prepared and delicious. The chicken dora is my husband's favorite dish just about anywhere. And a plus here are their good vin ordinaires at reasonably-priced pours. Beautiful desserts but who had room?
This was for a birthday and we had a very lovely time. Thank you so much!
This is a chef par excellence. The outstanding presentation, the flavor, the service and ambience all combine to provide the finest dining experience in the Inland Empire
My wife and I ate there Christmas Eve for the first time ever. And it will not be our last visit!! One of the finer restaurants around. Location in a strip mall is deceiving. The food is fabulous! Service is top drawer. Chef left kitchen briefly and talked to each table. My wife had chicken off the regular menu and I had South African sea bass from the specials. Both were delicious. Sides and sauces/flavorings were perfect match and delicious as well. Presentation was excellent. Staff superb! Clean plates were all the server had to remove. Very delightful experience.
